I hate to make mutiple threads. But i haven't found another thread here with this idea. (i actually looked this time :p) Anyway. You could also discuss how it would change how the pokemon is played. It would be a little easy if the body would look like this: Name: Effect: Distribution: My ideas: 1)Name: Quick Charge Effect: Removes charge turn on moves like Giga Impact and Hyper Beam. Distribution: Snorlax, Porygon Z, Dialga 2)Name: Invert Pain Effect: Takes "not very effective" moves as if they were "super effective". It also takes "Super effective" moves as if they were "not very effective". Does not change normally effective moves. Distribution: Slowking, Parasect, and Giratina. 3)Name: Twisty Stare Effect: Upon entering battle, Opposing pokemon will be inflicted with the status condition: "Confusion." Distribution: Spinda and Hitmontop EDIT: 4)Name:Cold Steel Effect:Grants resistance to fire type moves and fighting type moves. Distribution: Empoleon
Name: Tunnel Vision Effect: Raises Speed and Attack one stage every time it is affected by the following status moves: Taunt, Torment, Embargo, Heal Block, Spite, Grudge, Fake Tears, Flatter, Swagger, Quash, Snatch Distribution: Pancham, Pangoro, Mankey, Primeape, Vigoroth, Gyarados, Onix, Steelix, Basculin, Larvitar, Pupitar, Tyranitar Explanation/flavour: An interesting "extreme rage" based ability, when the pokemon is hit with a "manipulative" status move as it were, the opponent is punished by a powerful boost. Should easily be balanced because the moves themselves are uncommon as well as the distribution not going to something insane. Is potentially a punish for Swagger users, especially because most of Tunnel Vision users would resist Foul Play. Name: Immaterial Effect: Ignores contact moves. Distribution: Shedinja, Giratina, Giratina-O, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar Explanation/flavour: Ghosty etc. Interesting different option for Shedinja, unsure if it'd be better or worse. Giratina gets an ability that actually boosts it, making it even harder to take down, maybe broken even in ubers lol, Giratina-O appreciates it too. Gengar line would probably force a lot more EQ to be run on physical attackers or it would check them (aside from those with Ice/Rock STABs), also becomes immune to Pursuit. Unsure if I made this ability too much lol Name: Perennial Effect: Doubles health gain from HP Draining moves (Absorb, Drain Punch, Draining Kiss, Dream Eater, Giga Drain, Horn Leech, Leech Life, Leech Seed, Mega Drain, Parabolic Charge) as well as Ingrain and Aqua Ring. Does not increase damage. Stacks with Big Root. Distribution: Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium, Sunkern, Sunflora, Sudowoodo, Oorotto, Cherubi, Cherrim, Tropius, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, Budew, Roselia, Roserade Explanation/flavour: Based on Perennial plants having high competitiveness in high-nutrient environments. With Big Root and Perennial a pokemon would gain HP equivalent to 1.3x the damage it deals from 1/2 HP gaining moves such as Giga Drain. Gives these moves a not too powerful buff for some pokemon, not boosting their damage either.
Name: Jack of All Trades Effect: Gains a 1.5 boost to all attacking moves used Distribution: Mewtwo, Kadabra, Alakazam, Metagross, any other super-intelligent Pokemon I might have missed. Explanation: Like Adaptability but better! These guys are supposedly very intelligent so it's only natural that they master their moves more.
Name: Afterburn Effect: Increases Special Attack by +1 every time the user scores a KO Distribution: Typhlosion family, Volcarona, Chandelure, Reshiram Explanation: Special Moxie. Imagine how dangerous Volcarona would be with this! Tailwind Reshiram would be a nightmare too - after all, a +2 sun boosted Blue Flare? Owchies! Name: Cold Blooded Effect: Increases Speed, Attack and Special Attack by 1 stage each in Sun. Decreases those stats by 1 stage in Hail. Distribution: Haxorus, Druddigon, Krookodile...can't think of others atm Explanation: A high risk high reward ability. In Sun, it would make Haxorus absolutely lethal
Name: Snow Slide Effect: Doubles Speed in hail Distribution: Beartic, Glaceon, Glalie, Kyurem (all formes), Weavile Explanation: Long overdue, makes hail more fun and offensively viable. Kyurem and Kyurem-B will become massive threats in OU and we might even see hail in Ubers with Kyurem-W. Name: Reinforce Effect: Boosts user's Defense one stage if opponent's Attack is higher than user's Attack Distribution: Aggron, Golem, Steelix, Bastiodon, Shuckle Explanation: Sort of like a defensive Download. Aggron and Golem are out of luck because they need their Attack, but Bastiodon and Shuck Norris will almost always be able to snag a boost. Shuckle in sandstorm will make your opponents cry. Name: Power Switch Effect: Any stat boosts or drops that would normally affect the user now affect the opponent instead and vice versa. Distribution: Altaria, Giratina-O, Typhlosion, Volcarona, Exeggutor, Alakazam, Cresselia, Grumpig Explanation: An instant Power Swap that can also steal Dragon Dances, Calm Minds, etc. Free Draco/Overheat/Leaf Storm is nice and if you're ballsy you can switch your Alakazam into a Cloyster and steal its Shell Smash. Name: Quick Start Effect: Speed and Attack are increased by a factor of 1.3 on the first turn Distribution: Ninjask, Electrode, Weavile, Garchomp, Scyther Explanation: Makes the Pokemon immediately threatening. Very good for VoltTurners, near useless on set up sweepers. Name: Beastmode Effect: Triples Attack and Speed Distribution: Delibird, Farfetch'd, Magikarp, Rattata, Caterpie, Wobbuffet, Wynaut, Chansey Explanation: lol
Name: Steel Leg Effect: Powers up all kicking moves Distribution: Hitmonlee and -top, Infernape, Mienfoo, Mienshao Name: Weakened Effect: Basically like Defeatist, but with Defense and Sp Def instead of Atk and Sp Atk Distribution: Shuckle I Shuckle at your pitiful attempts to stall.
Name: Doll Craft Effect: Using Substitute will consume 1/8 of your maximum health instead of 1/4. Distribution: the Clefairy line, Blissey, Banette Name: Self-Toughness Effect: If the Pokemon uses Selfdestruct or Explosion, it'll not get KOed, but its HP will drop down to 1. This ability won't work if said moves are used when the Pokemon has only 1 HP left. Distribution: Gigalith, Forrettress, Golem, Sudowoodo, Regirock Name: Type Link Effect: Doubles the power of super-effective moves that are used by this Pokemon. The Pokemon receives double damage from super-effective moves. Distribution: Luxray, Vaporeon, Cresselia, Dusknoir
Name: High Swag Effect: Upon entering battle, opposing pokemon is OHKOed. Distribution: ludicolo family, quagsire family, sudowoodo, kricketune GG
Name: Unlocked Effect: Using moves suck as petal dance, uproar, and outrage, which lock you into using them, you are no longer locked into once you've clicked them. Petal Dance, Outrage cannot confuse you. Your accuracy of all moves drops by 20%. Choice items do not lock you into one move. Distribution: Lilligant, Spinda, Altaria, Meganium, Exploud Name: Intensify Effect: When the user enters the field, the effects of the move gravity are put into effect for a period of 5-8 turns. Distribution: [including evolutionary lines] Claydol, Golurk, Landorus-T, Bronzong, Alakazam [focus miss won't so much], Mew, Unown, Girafarig, Lunatone, Solrock, Name: Shadow Pass Effect: All attacks ignore a foe's substitute. Distribution: Bannette, Dusknoir, Golurk, Medicham, Darkrai, Zoroark, Meloetta
Name: Tide Turner Effect: Upon being KOed by a non-contact move, the opponent receives damage equal to 1/4 of their max HP. Distribution: Carnivine, Baltoy, Claydol, Chimecho, Spinarak, Ariados Name: Overturn Effect: Distributes any afflicted stat changes to adjacent targets. Does not affect self-inflicted stat changes. Distribution: Spinda, Shuckle, Musharna, Basculin, Tangela, Tangrowth Name: Wits Effect: When inflicted by a major status condition (Poison, Paralysis, Burn, Sleep, Freeze), the user's Special Attack increases by 50%. Distribution: Solosis, Duosion, Reuniclus, Vulpix, Ninetales, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile
Couldn't resist coming up with more of these. Name: Alteration Effect: Moves with the same type as the user no longer get STAB but moves with a different type get a 1.5x boost Distribution: Deoxys, Darkrai Explanation: Deoxys gets a boosted Ice Beam/Superpower/Extremespeed/HP Fire and Darkrai gets Spacial Rend + Focus Blast (though it may have to run Sludge Bomb for Fairies) Name: Assassin Effect: Hits through type or ability immunities Distribution: Garchomp, Mienshao, Accelgor, Shedinja, Gengar, Banette, Drapion, Reshiram, Hitmonlee Explanation: EQ hits Flyings and Levitators, Fighting moves hit Ghosts, Resh still has perfect 2 move coverage in Gen 6, and Hitmonlee tries to spin in Ubers Name: Geologist Effect: Increases Special Attack 1 stage when encountering a Rock type move (includes switching into SR and getting hit with a Rock move). Works for each hit of muti-hit moves. Distribution: Moltres, Cobalion, Terrakion, Nidoking Explanation: Moltres fucks you up no matter what, Terrakion unlocks HP Ice, and Cobalion can run a viable Specs set. If Coba or Nido switch into Rhyperior's Rock Blast you're in for a hell of a time. Name: Time Shift Effect: All moves by the user or opposing Pokemon have their priority multiplied by -1. Distribution: Gallade, Gardevoir, Alakazam, Celebi, not Dialga because Roar would be broken Explanation: Alakazam and Celebi don't have to worry about Scizor anymore now that Bullet Punch has -1 priority. Oh, and Gallade gets +3 priority Focus Punch. Name: Serotiny Effect: If a Fire type move causes the user to faint, the user is instantly revived with full HP and PP. Distribution: Sudowoodo, Roserade, Sceptile Explanation: Inspired by the ecological phemonenon. Roserade and Sceptile essentially become immune to Fire type moves. Name: Medic Effect: User cannot be affected with a status condition, confusion, or infatuation Distribution: Blissey, Chansey, Clefable Explanation: Have fun killing these guys. Name: Multiply Effect: Doubles effect of items, if applicable Distribution: Dugtrio, Dodrio, Magneton, Exeggutor, Weezing, Klingklang, Vanilluxe, Hydreigon, Girafarig, DUOBLADE... you get the idea Explanation: Leftovers recovers 12.5%, Choice items double their respective stat, pinch Berries increase stats by +2, Life Orb boosts attacks by 60% but gives 20% recoil, etc. Hydreigon will be an absolute monster and Dugtrio and Magneton will see increased usage as trappers.
Name: Possession Effect: Works similarly to Magic Bounce. Instead of Magic Coat auto, it's Snatch auto. Distribution: Chandelure, Mightyena, Absol, Houndoom, Grumpig, Swalot Explanation: Disgusting Pokemon setting up all over your face with Swords Dance and Substitute? Not any more! Should you switch in on a healing move, yay you get healed. This ability makes short work of Baton Pass teams, and is something new to be wary of. Also, in double battles, you can use a Scarfed Chandelure along with a Volbeat with prankster. Both Tail Glow and Substitute get stolen by Snatch, and since Volbeat has Prankster, it goes before the Scarf... Yeah you know where I'm going with this Name: Intelligent Rune Effect: If the user has one attack, the power of the attack is tripled Distribution: Unown Explanation: Deth by Unown Name: Pessimist Effect: The number of attacks (including poison and burn, each time it takes away your health counts as 1) to take down the user will affect the damage done to the opponent when user dies. (Opponent's HP-1.5*User's level/number of attacks). Distribution: Weezing, Skuntank, Shiftry most other sad Pokemon that aren't smiling :( Explanation: Hinders sweeps, but also needs more restrictions with low level pokemon
Angel Flonne's Possession sounds like an awesome ability. Name: Stealth Armour Effect: Absorbs Stealth Rock [like poison types with toxic spikes]. Boosts defense one stage, when switching into stealth rock. Distribution: Rhyperior line, Aggron line, Mawile, Bastiodon line, Nosepass.
Couldn't resist. Name: Shadow Steal or Clone Copy Effect: If opponent has a sub up, user will steal that sub and opponent loses their own sub. Distribution: Ninjask, Zangoose, Giratina, Shedinja, spinda , and crobat. Flavor: For better or for worst. I personally found subs so annoying. This ability alone could change that. Crobat would haev a almost virtually new role in uu with this.
Name: Efficiency Effect: Raises the power and accuracy of multiple hit moves such as Double Hit, Bullet Seed, etc. by 50% and 10% respectively. Distribution: Ambipom, Exeggcute line, Dwebble line, Corsola, Girafarig, Doduo line, Doublade, Cinccino, Hitmontop Flavor: This can compete with Skill Link for Cinccino; is it worth sacrificing guaranteed 5 hits for extra power and accuracy? Name: Broken Seal Effect: Raises attack, special attack, and speed stats by six stages when HP falls at exactly 6%. Distribution: Spiritomb Flavor: This ability is extremely luck reliant; if I had allowed it to be below 6%, people would run Endure on Spiritomb. If pulled off, however, the tables of the battle can flip completely. Otherwise, gimmicky at best. Name: Soar Effect: Flying-type moves are raised by 50% when HP falls at 33% or below. Distribution: Pidgey line, Spearow line, Skarmory, Taillow line, Starly line, Pidove line, Altaria, Honchkrow, Togetic, Togekiss, Swanna line, Dragonite, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres Flavor: If bugs get their version of Overgrow/Torrent/Blaze (Swarm), why not some more types like flying? =x Swanna might have an ability that could actually have some use competitively without having to be entirely reliant on rain! Name: Ominous Aura Effect: Dark-type moves are raised by 50% when HP falls at 33% or below. Distribution: Murkrow line, Umbreon, Absol, Spiritomb, Darkrai, Hydreigon, Yveltal Flavor: See Soar Name: Stealth Beater Effect: All targeted attacks will hit when the opposing Pokemon switches out. Unlike Pursuit, the power of the moves will not be doubled. Sucker Punch will not fail. Distribution: Sneasel line, Ninjask, Accelgor, Pawniard line, Gallade, Scizor Flavor: Who needs Pursuit?
Name: Ancient Guard Effect: User becomes immune to priority moves but takes x4 damage for super effective moves Distribution: Every Fossil line Flavor: Best suited for Archeops and Shell Smashers Name: Cursed Aura Effect: Inflicts Curse Status on your opponent (loses 25% of its total health every turn). Does not work against other Ghosts. Distribution: Bannete Flavor: The abandoned doll seeks its revenge... 100 posts btw ^.^
Name: Permafrost layer Effect: All Super-Effective damage dealt to this Pokemon is multiplied by 2/3 at 50% or more health. This includes Stealth Rock which does 16.67% (33.33% to quadweakness Pokemon). Distribution: Lapras, Articuno, Glalie, Regice, Glaceon, Vanilluxe, Beartic, Cryogonal. Ice is already a shitty typing, so it probably shouldn't be broken, but really helpful. RestTalk Regice might see some use in UU, even though it still only has one resist. Arcticuno only loses a third of its health to SR which is a lot better. A lot of these could use the extra bulk for set-up or just to tank some extra hits.
I have made a lot of abilities while making my custom Pokémon. Some of them are basically repeated here (for instance, "Wit" = "Unwavering Soul"), but there are others that could use some more exposure. Name: Flash Freeze Effect: Negates damage from Ice-type attacks, and upon being struck by an Ice-type move, boosts the power of the user's Ice-type moves by 1.5 times. Distribution: Cryogonal, Kyurem, Frostran Notes: Ice-type Flash Fire. Ice is a great offensive type, so this should see a lot of use. Also, it's an Ice-type immunity, so I guess Kyurem-W and Kyurem-B actually benefit from Turboblaze and Teravolt now. Name: Subzero Body Effect: Has a 30% chance of freezing opponents that strike the user with a direct-contact move. This ability has a separate chance of activation for each hit of a multi-hit attack. If the enemy is frozen in the middle of its attack, the attack is immediately stopped. Distribution: Articuno, Regice, Frostran Notes: Nothing says "screw you" to a physical sweeper like freezing it when it hits you. Funnily enough, this is more reliable than any of the moves that are capable of freezing except for Secret Power in snow. Name: Cheerleader Effect: Grants a 1.3x boost to the damage done by [adjacent] allies in Double and Triple Battles. Distribution: Plusle, Minun, Skitty, Delcatty, Pretzo, Chainjo Notes: An offensive counterpart of Friend Guard. Yes, for those of you who are wondering, it stacks multiplicatively with Helping Hand. Name: Interposal Effect: In a Double or Triple battle, the user of Interposal will redirect all contact-based attacks that could possibly target it to itself, assuming that the intended target was not immune to the attack anyways (so, for instance, if the user of Interposal was on the left in a Triple Battle, Interposal could not allow it to take an attack aimed at the Pokémon on the right from the opponent’s Pokémon on the left, unless it was an attack that could explicitly target any of the opponent’s Pokémon regardless of the position of the user and target, such as Acrobatics). However, this ability is ineffective against moves that affect multiple targets, and does not grant any sort of immunity or resistance to contact-based attacks. In a Rotation Battle, the user automatically rotates in to take an attack if it is not the active Pokémon and the active Pokémon would not be immune to that attack (ex. Electric-type attack against a Motor Drive-using Pokémon); this occurs immediately before the opponent’s attack, not at the start of the round, and if the otherwise active Pokémon did not make its move yet, it rotates back in following the opponent’s attack to take its action. Interposal will fail if the user of Interposal would be more severely affected by the attack (ex. take more damage) than the intended target would, unless the attack would cause the intended target to faint. Pokémon with the Infiltrator ability bypass Interposal and can attack their intended target regardless. In Gen V, Interposal only has a 60% chance of being activated. Distribution: Meshing, Grating Notes: Basically like a constant Follow Me/Rage Powder, except limited to contact moves. The users are a two-stage line of grates, which is why they have this ability; they're sentient shields, in a sense. Name: Earthen Fervor Effect: Multiplies the power of Ground-type moves by 1.5 times when the user's HP drops below 33%. Distribution: Dohlran Notes: A Ground-type Overgrow/Blaze/Torrent. Name: Frighten Effect: When the user enters battle, the Special Attack of all foes within range is lowered by 1 stage. Distribution: Gyarados, Salamence, Masquerain, Dohlran Notes: It's just like Intimidate, except that it affects Special Attack. (How has nobody thought of this yet?) Name: Fearless Effect: Negates the effects of Intimidate, Frighten, Leer, Scary Face, Glare, Mean Look, Roar, etc. Also grants the equivalent of 1 stage of evasion against Ghost-type moves (they're not as effective against those who aren't easily scared) and halves the chance of flinching. Distribution: Bagon, Tyranitar Notes: This ability is one of a family of abilities that protect against a certain category of moves (other abilities in this family include Soundproof and Bulletproof). In this case, it blocks fear moves. The extra effects are partially a compensation for the fact that the list of fear moves is very, very small (not to mention that more than half of the fear moves are rather uncompetitive). Name: Steady Spirit Effect: The user's Special Defense cannot be lowered. Distribution: Meditite, Medicham Notes: Most moves that lower Special Defense are characterized as somehow weakening the opponent's resolve. Thus, this ability blocks such attacks by refusing to back down.
Name: Samurai Effect: All Priority moves are given another +1 to effectively make it +2 . It also increases the power of such moves by 10% Distribution: Greninja Line Notes: This ability is to increase priority's power, but notably, it is ONLY for Greninja, which has to choose between Protean and Samurai. It also gives it an air of unpredictability, and it can kill talonflame with water shuriken, making gale wings less OP.
I really like this ability, but you're not clear enough on when the ability activates. I'm guessing that it's either upon being hit with a contact move or upon switching in, but seriously, there's no way to tell.
@Luigifan18 When I created that ability I assumed it inflicts Curse instantly upon switching in. (at the end of that exact turn, the opponent loses 25% of their HP) It might seem quite OP but that is why I only listed Banette as its only user.
Name: Blitzkrieg Effect: +1 Priority to all electric type moves Distribution: Luxray, Manectric, Zebstrika Explanation: Same as Gale Wings. Gives more stuff priority volt switch which is fun because it would make the bad electric type animals better.
Name: Patience Effect: Recover 40% HP each turn. On your 5th turn your Attack quintuples and Speed quadruples, while reducing further HP restoration to 15% Distribution: Shuckle Just something to give Shuckle a bit of relevance.` Name: Cosmic Advantage Effect: If Offensive stats are higher than Defensive stats, damage taken is halved. If Defensive stats are higher than Offensive stats, damage given is doubled. The HP and Speed stat are not included in this calculation, and the raw stats are used - not base stats. Distribution: All forms of Deoxys It's already broken in OU, so thought of buffing it in Ubers. Deo-A is kind of too paper thin to really enjoy this though, I've done thorough calcs. Deo-S, on the other hand, gets much, much more interesting...and Deo-N pretty much outclasses A with this, actually. Name: Red-line Effect: Attack increases by +2 and speed increases by +2, however you lose 25% health every turn. Distribution: All steel types, Golurk, anything else with a mechanical base, i.e. a mecha(hence Golurk), plane, car, gears, weapons, what have you. Speaks for itself really.
Name: Mach 5 Effect: Immune to priority moves. Distribution: Falkanary Explanation: The wielder of the ability soars at jet-like speeds, ignoring the likes of priority moves.
Name: Evasive Maneuvers Effect: Multi-hit moves only strike once. Distribution: I guess stuff like Mienshao. Explanation: The wielder has incredible reflexes that never let it be struck more than once.
Name: No Fly Zone Effect: No flying moves allowed and the flying type is negated while this Pokemon is in play. It's kind of like a reverse Mold Breaker, since it doesn't affect Pokemon who can levitate. Distribution: Dusknoir, Alakazam, Hippowodon Explanation: The user creates a strange aura of mud that renders all flying type Pokemon unable to use their flying moves and temporarily lose their flying type. Name: Together we stand Effect: For each fainted "Musketeer" Pokemon, the Pokemon gains a 1.5x boost to its atk/ sp. atk/ and speed Distribution: Keldeo, Terrakion, Cobalion, Virizion Explanation: The Pokemon surrounds itself with the aura of its fallen comrade to aid in its combat.
Name: Disable Device Effect: All entry hazards are removed when the user switches in; the user is also unaffected by entry hazards. Distribution: Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja, Scyther, Scizor, Spinarak, Ariados, Arachion, Accelgor, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile (maybe a Mega Sceptile?), Nincada, Ninjask... heck with it, Pokémon that fit the "ninja/thief" archetype in general Notes: Bye bye Stealth Rock! Name: Cargo Effect: The user is able to hold two items, and is affected by both. Trick and Switcheroo affect only the first held item, while Thief, Covet, Knock Off, and Bestow remove the first item and then the second in that order (requiring two uses). If both items are consumed, Recycle restores the second item before the first item (also requiring two uses). If the user holds two of the same item and that item is not consumable, then the effects are essentially doubled (ex. equivalent to 2-stage boost with Choice item, 160% Attack and Sp. Atk boost at the cost of losing 20% HP per attack with Life Orb, etc.) For consumable items, the items are consumed one at a time - for instance, getting the effects of two Weakness Policies would require being hit with two super-effective attacks, and when healing with a held consumable item, the second item does not activate unless the user's HP is still below the activation threshold when the first item resolves. If the user's Ability is changed or suppressed, the effects of its second held item are suppressed, as if the item was Knocked Off, until its Ability returns to normal. (Gaining Cargo mid-battle is mostly useless, as there is no way to attach items to a Pokémon mid-battle save for stealing them from another Pokémon via Thief or Covet. If this ends up happening, the second item is rendered inert as soon as the Cargo ability is lost, and in an in-game battle that allows for stolen items to be kept afterwards (read: wild Pokémon battles), the second item is automatically removed and placed in the Bag when the battle is over.) Distribution: Beldum, Metang, Metagross Notes: This is something many Pokémon would kill for. However, it's exclusive to Pokémon that actually have extra storage space, so to speak. Name: Mega Memory Effect: The user is able to remember eight moves at a time, instead of the usual four. If the user's Ability is changed or suppressed, the last four moves it knows become inaccessible until its Ability is reverted to Mega Memory. If a Pokémon without Mega Memory gains it, it temporarily gains access to the four moves it has most recently forgotten until its Ability is changed to something else. Distribution: Alakazam, Metagross, Insego Notes: 4-Move-Slot Syndrome? What's that? LOL. (Note that this Ability is exclusive to Pokémon which are explicitly stated to have ludicrously high intelligence.) Name: Emergency Power Effect: When the user enters the field and has no allies left (that is, all other Pokémon on its team have fainted), it gains a +6 boost to Attack and Special Attack. This ability does not function if the user is the only Pokémon on its team. Distribution: Espurr, Meowstic Notes: Basically, this is Espurr/Meowstic opening its ears and unleashing its full power in a dire situation, and then proceeding to completely and utterly demolish whatever is foolish enough to be its enemy. Hence, why it's exclusive to the Espurr line.
Name: Alph Sinergy Effect: If you have 2 or more Unown in your team, your Pokémon's Hidden Power Base Power is doubled (140 now) and it has all its stats raised by +1 whenever it uses Hidden Power to attack its opponent. (this ability does nothing if don't have at least 2 Unown in your team) Distribution: Suicune, Unown. Name: Final Struggle Effect: Whenever this Pokémon's HP comes down to 50%, all its stats are raised by +6. Thiis only works if this is your last Pokémon. Distribution: Magikarp Notes: Yeah.. Name: Solidify Effect: User's type is now Rock/Ghost. Distribution Magcargo
Name: Omniscience Effect: All Normal moves used by this pokemon are super effective against any type, and any Normal move's BP instantly becomes 250 upon use. Distribution: Mega Arceus if that ever happens
Last Bastion? Also, let's try something: Name: Wonder Lock Effect: Permanently traps the opposing pokémon on field (meaning BP, U-Turn and Volt Swtich will NOT allow switches), even if the Wonder Lock pokémon is switched out. It'll activate (30% chance) when the Wonder Lock pokémon is physically attacked. Distribution: Klefki, Yamask, Cofagrigus, Dusknoir, Ferrothorn, Umbreon, Spiritomb Notes: Basically it's an ability to screw people who rely too much on BP and/or switching mons. Since those Pokémon are somewhat great defensively, they can take some hits until the ability activate. However, as long as you don't use contact moves, you should be fine
Name: Homosexuality Effect: Attract only affects you if your opponent is of the same gender. Name: Aids Effect: You lose 1/16 of your HP every turn, but your foe is infected with the same problem if the two of your makes physical contact. Name: Disable Device Effect: All entry hazards are removed when the user switches in; the user is also unaffected by entry hazards.
Last Bastion is an Ability from Pokémon Conquest. It does something similar to what you described: basically if the last Pokémon of one of the sides has this Ability, it gets a permaboost to Attack and Defense. And yeah, I noticed the Disable Device thingy
Ability: Vengeance Effect: When the opponent hits the Pokemon with a Super Effective move, the Pokemon's speed, special attack, and attack doubles Spread: Giratina Game info: Giratina swear revenge on the one who has wronged it, doubling its offensive stats as it does so. Gives Giratina an offensive option rather than the defensive pressure.
Ability: Cocooned Effect: This pokemon's defence/ special defence is always treated as +6/+6, cannot be lowered. Spread: Every bug along the lines of metapod, kakuna, cascoon, and so on. Game info: Not like they would be used. But they should be very defensive since they all are meant to be a protective stage. Ability: Misfortune Effect: If this pokemon is hit by a contact move, they take damage from a typeless 50 bp special attack based off the users Special Attack and lose -1 Attack/ Special Attack Spread: Ninetales Game info: Its been said in the pokedex entry that whoever touches Ninetales tails will be cursed. Ability: Beacon Effect: When this pokemon uses Flash, it gains +2 attack/ +2 sp attack. Spread: Ampharos Game info: I just think of it being used as the lighthouse light at olivine city...
Ability: Focus Effect: This Pokemon's crit ratio rises by two stages once it has lost half its health. Gives archeops something better. Spread: Archeops Game info: Archeops gains an additional boost when it focuses after taking critical damage.
Name: Egotistic Effect: Moves that have variable base power always hit for the maximum power. Excludes Psywave and multi hit moves Distribution: Don't know Imagine the possibilities!
Ability: Passing Shift Effect: The secondary effects of attacks that activate on the user are instead activated on the attacked. (if flamethrower would burn you it would instead burn the attacker) Distribution: Swalot, Muk, Tentacruel, Jellicent, Umbreon Ability: Erratic Player (stole from PMD) Effect: Increases multiplier of effect type damage. All attacks by this pokemon that would normally do 25%, 50%, 200%, and 400% would now normally do 12.5%, 25%, 400%, and 800%. All attacks attemped on this pokemon by the opponent are treated by the new multiplier as well. (neutral attacks are unchanged in damage) Distribution: Drapion, Octillery, Psyduck Ability: Rewired Power Effect: The pokemon uses its attack stat for special attack moves and its special attack stat for attack moves. (If the pokemon was hit with intimidate, it would still lower its attack stat, which decreases the power of its special attack moves, pseudo special intimidate lol) Distribution: Magnemite family, Klinklang family (gear shift GG), Porygon/Porygon2, Electivire
You didn't mention aids and homosexuality, so I ripped no one off, but you're ripping me off now by claiming I'm ripping you off.
