==General== Amazing base 115 base speed Above average 95 base attack Two great abilities in Skill Link and Technician Frail due to low defenses Limited Movepool ==Sets== ===Choice=== {{set|name=Choice |pkmn=Cinccino |nature=Jolly/Adamant |item=Choice Band/Choice Scarf |ability=Skill Link |ev=4HP/252 Att/252 Spe |move1=Tail Slap |move2=Rock Blast |move3=Bullet Seed |move4=U-Turn}} Standard offensive Cinccino set right here. Skill Link makes it so that any multi-hit moves will hit for all maximum hits, so Rock Blast, Tail Slap, and Bullet Seed will hit for maximum damage. U-Turn for scouting purposes due to it's fantastic 115 base speed. Choice Band pairs with Jolly, while Choice Scarf pairs with Adamant to make up for each sets short comings. Band + Jolly acts as a sweeper as it can outspeed the bulk of the tier and 2HKO anything that doesn't resists the multi-hit attacks. Scarf + Adamant acts as a revenge killer, outspeeding everything bar Unburden Lee and Sceptile, and Scarf Galvantula, Durant, and Scyther. Both sets appreciate having hazard support so that it doesn't have to worry about the bulky pokemon that live 5 hits like Druddigon or Durant and can OHKO it back. The biggest drawback of these sets are that you are locked into a move and are susceptible to opponents if you predict wrong. ===Non-Choice=== {{set|name=Non-Choice |pkmn=Cinccino |nature=Jolly |item=Life Orb/King's Rock |ability=Skill Link |ev=4HP/252 Att/252 Spe |move1=Tail Slap |move2=Rock Blast |move3=Bullet Seed |move4=U-Turn |move41=Aqua Tail}} Cinccino also has the ability to run a non-choiced item set, although the EV spread and attacks will remain the same. Aqua Tail can be used as an option to hit the Steel types that are Ground or Rock for damage, so basically Steelix and Aggron more or less. Life Orb still gives you the extra damage though less than what Choice Band offers you, yet you aren't locked into just one move and if you predict wrong you can still outspeed the next turn and hit the right move. King's Rock is also an option, as with the multi-hit moves the chances to flinch are higher than your normal use of the item, but usually is a luck based strategy and revolves entirely around having to flinch your opponent to succeed more often than not. ==Other Options== Work Up on the non-choice lets you set up a boost if they try to predict a certain move Encore again, a non-choice set option for stall/sub mons Technician + Wake-Up slap can be appealing but you risk not hitting the maximum damage skill link gives Expert Belt/Silk Scarf could be an option into fooling opponents that you are a choice item Substitute with King's Rock to set up multi-flinch turns ==Checks & Counters== Steel Types (steelix, aggron, durant, escavalier, ferroseed, magneton) Bulky Ghosts (dusknoir, dusclops, spiritomb) Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan Tangrowth Common choice scarfer's/faster than 115 base speed easily revenge Bulky Rocky Helmet opponents seeing as Tail Slap will cause it to take a lot of damage (Druddigon) There's probably something I missed, but seeing as Cinccino is a very limited pokemon, it has very limited options. So, feel free to point out the mistakes I know I made! Finished product: http://wiki.pokemon-online.eu/wiki/Cinccino/5th_Gen_LU
hi let's see maybe slash or add in oo for the non-choice set substitute, i find it to work very well with king's rock. also helps it get momentum on the switch, and can do nice damage to scarfer which could usually hit cinccino rather hard, and be safe. the flinching behind the sub is nice, kinda solid annoyer too lol oo add silk scarf maybe as a bluff like ebelt, doing more damage with silk scarf guess add that stuff, elaborate/write-up c&c (like describe the steel-types and ghost-types, pretty much everything for now lol and i can approve
K done with the additions. Forgot about silk scarf, thought about substitute but didn't add since it does only work on switches due to it's frail defenses. Added in the steel and ghost types though they are kind of obviously that all of them bar like mismagius wall it's common attacks. Weak pokemon, simple analysis, only forgot the minor stuff that probably would never get used.
K, done with this after losing interest after Chrome closed on me the first time I did it. Also you are welcome, HP fire should go in O+O right?? :3
