    • Great abilities
    • One weakness which is easily covered up
    • Works in Trick Room
    • Can speed creep to beat Spiritomb and Slowking
    • Good stab coverages for LU resisted only by fire types and steel types
    • Hard walled by Steelix
    • Plethora of common fire types in LU
    • Needs to watch out for random Hidden Power [Fire]
    • Has the bulk to survive most Hidden Powers from walls
    • Recovery + great sleep talker

    == Offensive ==
Escavalier @ Choice Band / Leftovers / Chesto Berry
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
    Adamant Nature
    - Megahorn
    - Iron Head
    - Pursuit
    - Sleep Talk / Return / Protect / Rest

    • Extremely easy to use
    • Great team support
    • Return only hits fire types, Sleep Talk can catch Tangrowth, Lilligant, and Venomoth off guard
    • Can OHKO almost everything that does not resist without Rocks
    • Iron Head is secondary STAB very reliable
    • Pursuit gets Slowking and Uxie trying to switch out
    • Current EV spread is to take 1 less damage on switch ins to Rocks max attack 8 SpD to help with Hidden Power [Fire]
    • Alternative spread is 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Speed
    • Less bulk making it harder to take an HP Fire, but can now out speed and kill Tomb + Slowking

Escavalier is a very good and a very popular Pokemon in the LU metagame. It has very good defensive typing, its only weakness is fire attacks, and with proper team support its weakness is easily covered up. It has a great ability in Swarm, which boosts up its bug type attacks when Escavalier has under 33% health. In [[Trick Room]], it is a very deadly sweeper, it has perfect speed for the job, and it is fast enough that it can speed creep several important Pokemon such as {{5glu|Slowking}} and {{5glu|Spiritomb}}. Furthermore, its stabs are only resists by Fire and Steel types, and it is a fantastic sleep absorber. Escavalier is an exceptional pokemon, and it should not be overlooked when building a team.

However, Escavalier does have its weaknesses. Although its speed can be advantageous in [[Trick Room]], it is usually a let down because it is easily revenge killed by any pokemon with a fire move. It does not have consistent recovery for its defensive set besides [[Rest]] Chesto. It has hard checks in pokemon like {{5glu|Steelix}}, and it is completely crippled by [[Will-o-wisp]]. Finally, hazards really hurt it making it revenged by the weakest of Hidden Powers, and {{5glu|Magneton}} easily traps Escavalier and kills it.

I'm not LU QC but I'd expand a bit more on the checks & counters section since your missing pokemon like Aggron, Emboar, Poliwrath, Djhusknoir and Dusclops, etc. Also maybe add RestTalk in OO?

You should probably mention that it is extremely easy to revenge kill with most things that carry a Fire move, HP Fire grass-types, Slowking, and Absol can all do the job.

Mention Sub in OO, Non-CB offensive set is pretty good as well.

Like previously mentioned you missed a lot of Esca's premier counters.

Mention XScizzor in OO for the Banded set. Sometimes you don't want to miss a Megahorn.

I think the offensive one that isn't banded needs more mention.

Usually they run Leftovers; The 4th move tends to be Sub, Protect, and sometimes Rock Smash.

You should probably edit this first.

Tacking a couple of other items onto the offensive set, such as the Lefties and maybe Lum Berry, would probably be a nice idea. Esca likes being able to switch moves, from my limited experience of using it. :3

So... Laurel's lacking the time to get this finished, and he's asked me to get it uploaded. Is there anything else that needs tweaking on the analysis? Or can I just upload it in the state it's in?

To be honest looks great so far, only thing I'd do is just lump Fire Types under the checks and counters, i.e. Entei, Moltres, Magmortar, Typhlosion, Emboar, Charizard all in general are usable, but can come in, live a return potentially without rock support and force out. So, it's pretty easy to just lump them as one, unless you just wanna name a few specific for the Wiki.

You checked the uploaded version, I presume? I've more or less done that, listing Magmortar, Entei and Moltres if memory serves, as they're LU's prominent Fire-types (sans Typhlosion)?
