This thread is meant as a discussion point for the current Battle Factory sets and potential new ones that could be added with the hope it will help the reviewers keep the packs as up to date as possible. If you see any set you believe is unviable or completely outclassed by another Pokemon or have a new set you would like to suggest you can post it here in the format:

Pack Name (Uber, OU, UU, LU, NU, LC)
    Set importable
Description why it should be added/removed

    For example:

    OU Pack
    Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Stone Edge
    - Crunch
    - Pursuit
    - Superpower
Add to Wifi OU pack - far more offensive then other Tyranitar sets allowing for better wall breaking, more powerful Pursuit lets you trap things at higher health even if they don't switch ect. (add anything else you think is relevant).

I should mention that it is preferable if you discuss such things on server in the BF Review channel but this is an alternative place you can leave your ideas should you find the reviewers are not on or if you do not have server access for whatever reason.

So I'm a Wifi UU BF Reviewer and personally, it's rather difficult to discuss a set that works or not because it's all based on a somewhat bias opinion. Hence why sometimes some sets which look stupid on paper go up, and the common ones end up going up as well.

Discussion per sets has also dwindled. Not as many creative minds and if there is, it's backlashed for how gimmicky the set might be.

How exactly can we check the Ev's of a certain Pokémon?

I know it can be done by typing ./pokesets *pokemon*. However it is awfully outdated, so we can only check about half of them .-.

What do you mean you can only check half of them?

    /pokesets Pokemon:Tier

Use that command to view a pokemon's set in a specific tier. All pokemon are 100% "up to date". As soon as something is deleted or added it is represented in /pokesets.

If you are seeing incorrect sets for the pokemon check that Tier is in proper caps ("Wifi OU" =/= "wifi ou"). If no correctly typed tier is inputed it will result in seeing the preset pokemon (the ones that can't be changed and aren't used).

Long story short, nothing is out of date and make sure the command is typed properly. Also, please just come to the channel and make comments to reviewers, we really do value your input and nearly all the reviewers are on for a large portion of the day (and make sure you type /commands battlefactory and use /pokesets to not submit duplicates).

Totally keen for helping out with this. Finding uses for obscurities is one of the few things I'm good at. xD

Is there an easy access list that shows us the sets of each pokemon? (preferably off server)

Ok. I'll start with 2 LC Sets that most of you have certainly came across.

    LC Pack
    Teddiursa @ Toxic Orb
    Trait: Quick feet
    EVs: 116 HP / 196 Atk / 196 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Facade
    - Close Combat
    - Crunch

    - Both the moveset and the EV distribution is perfect in my opinion. However the nature is not and I'll explain why. With an Adamant Nature, Teddy reaches a total of 19 Speed after its Toxic Orb activates, which leaves it forcing risky speed ties with Ponyta, Misdreavus, Abra, Staryu (just to name a few that cross my mind) all of them can easily KO Teddiursa with a strong STAB move. It is also outspeed by Yanma, Elekid, Diglett and every single Choice Scarf user in the tier. On the other hand, with a Jolly nature, Teddiursa reaches a sky-high 21 Speed, outspeeding every single unboosted Pokémon as well as speed tying with slow Scarfers like Machop, Shellder or Magnemite.

    LC Pack
    Taillow @ Flame Orb
    Trait: Guts
    EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe
    Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
    - Brave Bird
    - Facade
    - U-Turn
    - Roost

*With defenses that make any Magikarp feel like a Groudon (40/30/30), Taillow is one of the most frail Pokémon in the tier, which is worsened by its lack of Eviolite. That said I must ask: Why Roost? Why the need of a recovery move when any neutral move will 2hko Taillow?
Quick Attack is a far better option, providing it with much needed priority to finish off weakened opponents, avoids Sucker Punch, or simpling firing off one last hit against a faster opponent.
Gosh, even Hidden Power Grass/Ground is more useful than Roost, KO'ing Rock/Steel types that wall it's other moves like Omanyte or Magnemite.
