After 8 days, and only one person posting a short sentence or two, I can honestly say I am very disappointed in the NEU "community". With this many drops I would have expected a lot more people posting something (at least 5 comments guys). Those that argued that there are a lot of people who play and care about the tier should be embarrassed to not be involved at all.

On another note, Regice, Archeops, and Huntail are very exciting drops. Regice will be a very fearsome special tank with an amazing stab complemented by Thunderbolt, Charge Beam, and Thunder Wave. Potentially I could even see it running a curse set if it wasn't for its poor typing. Archeops will be an amazing set up sweeper with either Rock Polish or Hone Claws (it's already plenty fast). Its ability and typing are unfortunate (like Regice), but if it's able to force a switch and set up, it'll definitely be causing trouble. Out of all of the drops, I think Huntail is looking the most promising with a powerful Shell Smash set. It could run a mixed set (possibly with Hidden Power) to get around its usual checks.

I'd be very interested in seeing what the "community" decides to suspect/leave alone.

I don't really play NEU, but i'll throw in my 2 cents.

Regice - Absolutely monstrous Special Defense, I don't think there's a special attacking pokemon that can break through it in NEU, best when paired with spin support. It also has acces to 100 base Sp Atk, Rock Polish + Bolt Beam Coverage which means it can actually be a very deadly sweeper, especially if the opponents Scarfer is a special attacker.

Archeops - Absolute powerhouse with a fantastic movepool, flying gem boosted Acrobatics absolutely destroys, throw that together with Edge-Quake coverage, U-Turn for momentum and a base 110 Speed stat you've got your self one of the best physical attackers in the tier. I don't actually know how people allowed it to drop to NEU it's so good. However it's weakness to Stealth Rock + terrible ability hold it back some, and all the fast Electric types that dropped will be able to keep it in check.

Serperior - Can run a very powerful Sub CM set with a life orb, hits extremely hard when in Overgrow range, has great base 113 speed.

Huntail - Mixed shell smash set can sweep unprepared teams quite easily, however again with the fast electric types dropping, it's easy to slap a scarf on one of them to revenge kill threats such as this.

Electric Types - Electabuzz has access to Vital Spirit + Focus Blast, and can use a scarf set well, Zebstrika has Lightningrod to boost its Sp Atk and Overheat to nail grass types, can also run a good Scarf/Specs set, and Electrode hits a ridiculous speed tier so can afford to go Modest Specs, to hit extremely hard, E-Vire can run a great mixed set and boost it's speed with motor drive, all have their niches.

I'm assuming most of these electric types dropped because they were clearly outclassed by Manectric, but now it's gone back to LU I imagine a lot of these will rise back up to NU in the coming months.

It can be, it just can't be crit with because of Shell Armor. Even with the curse set, in reality, it takes a while to set up and can be difficult to set up with if you don't have any boosts in the special defense side via Baton Pass. To show what I'm talking about:
    ChickFill-E (Lapras) (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Shell Armor
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Curse
    - Avalanche
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

With the nice special bulk, all Lapras needs to do is find an opportunity to get a few Curses. Like I said, it's not very easy to pull off with the new (and some old) threats in the tier, namely Electivire.

Speaking of Electivire, now that it is back in NEU, it has the opportunity to be a great mixed attacker or an all-out physical attacker if you wanted to. Not only that, it has its niche of Motor Drive so it keeps other Electric-types or Thunder Wave users at bay. It is overall an amazing Pokemon with great coverage and offensive power, which is why it was out of NEU for a while due to so much usage. It might rise back again, so enjoy it while you can.

    My two cents worth:

Tbh I seriously feel that Archeops is over-powered in the tier, with good dual STABs to abuse and EQ to have perfect coverage in the entire tier bar Bronzor, who has better things to do than linger around this tier. NEU also has a lack of Steel-types as well as priority users, so basically checks are few and between. Ofc you can say that SR will cripple it to an extent due to the lack of spinners in the tier, but there are few spin-blockers in the tier, pretty much only Frillish and Duskull exists, so spinning away hazards is a manageable task.

I'm also going to say that Serperior is too fast for the tier, base 113 Speed means it basically outspeeds everything without a scarf bar Electrode, Persian and Ninjask, and can blow the tier away with its CM set after its counters has been severely damaged.

I'm also thinking Electrivire and Zebstrika is major problems for the tier, due to the lack of Ground-types, with only Camerupt standing out and is notoriously easy to wear down. Electrivire can abuse its large movepool to get around ground-types (Ice Punch for Ground-types, EQ for Camerupt) while Zebstrika can cripple them by tricking them with a choice item via on of its moves at its disposal:Switcheroo.

Regice also looks like it will be a dominant force in the metagame, working perfectly fine as both a RP sweeper and a special wall. It is also better than Altaria due to its higher special bulk, and is almost impossible to leave a scratch on it by hitting on the special side without a SE move. I was also thinking of Articuno, who can rip apart teams with its ice/flying combo, and hp ground/rock to round up the coverage.
