Here is a new theme idea I have - Chicken! It's based on a real life game, Chicken, where two cars drive toward each other, and the first to swerve loses, but of course, this will play a bit differently. I like to think of this theme as strategic, while also kinda like gambling. Roles: Spoiler Villager: Info: Can /challenge (convert+protect+safeguard+distract) someone to turn into Challenger. Turns into Challenged Villager if challenged. Wins if he gets 3 points or if by himself. 100% kill evade chance. Help: You are a Villager! With the Village in a frenzy playing dangerous games, you have joined in! Use /challenge [name] to challenge an opponent in a deadly game of Chicken! If you are challenged, you will know who challenged you and become a Challenged Villager! Challenger: Info: Can /kill only the Villager they challenged. Can /flee to convert back into Villager. Gains one point and converts back to Villager if his opponent flees. 70% evade chance Help: You have challenged a Villager to a game of Chicken. Use /kill [name] to kill your opponent, but note that he has a 70% evade chance. You may /flee [yourname] to convert back to Villager if you feel like it's too dangerous. If your opponent flees, you convert back and get a point. Get 3 to win! Challenged Villager: Info: Can /kill only the Villager they challenged. Knows who challenged him. Can /flee to convert back into Villager. Gains one point and converts back to Villager if his opponent flees. 70% evade chance Help: You have been challenged to a game of Chicken! You know who challenged you, so use /kill [name] to kill your opponent, but note that he has a 70% evade chance. You may /flee [yourname] to convert back to Villager if you feel like it's too dangerous. If your opponent flees, you convert back and get a point. Get 3 to win! Chicken: Info: Kills anyone who challenges it, except on N1, where it only evades. Gets a vote of +3. Sided with Poultry. Help: You are the Chicken! Deadly and cunning, you evade all challenges, but starting N2, you will grow aggressive enough to kill anyone foolish enough to challenge you! You get a vote of +3, because all the Villagers think you're adorable during the daytime, but if left unattended, it could be the poultry who could rule the village. [/HIDE] This is just a concept so far, so it may need touching up in terms of strategy and balance. It also would help if someone helped code this.
I love the concept but this is something that seems like it would be better on paper than in execution.
Seems very reminiscent of Hostage from Juggernaut. Also, I don't think Challenged Villager can be coded. As of now, there is no way to trigger something on someone's convert (like onDeath, onLynch, etc.) at least, not that I know of. This does seem like a very complex seem though, nevertheless, it looks fun, but might require a lot of explaining to newer players.
