Made a few experimental changes to the theme. Some of them may be reverted if necessary. The changes are: -On large games, Mewtwo's expose no longer has recharge; -Mewtwo now evades 1 distraction per game, and is immune to Stalk and Watch; -Nightkillers (Exeggutor/Arcanine/Starmie) had their STAB ability changed: they now get a last kill if lynched; -Distractors (Chikorita/Totodile/Cyndaquil) had their STAB ability changed: they now can distract 2 players per night; -Stalkers (Chespin/Fennekin/Froakie) their their normal and STAB abilities changed: they now have a /watch instead of /stalk, but with STAB their /watch will also stalk. -Side Inspectors (Snivy/Tepic/Oshawott) had their normal ability changed: they now inspect players by their Type instead of their side. Trainers and pokémon not Grass/Fire/Water are inspected as "Not Grass, Fire or Water". -Spawn changed a lot for medium/large games. What effectively changed is the order that some roles appear. For example, sometimes the Poisoners will spawn instead of the Daykillers, or Stalkers will spawn instead of Distractors. Sometimes even Mewtwo will spawn instead of Shedinja. Be aware that in those cases, only the order is being changed (the other roles will still spawn, but only later). To anyone who play it, please tell me which changes you liked or not so I can decide what I should keep. Also, report possible bugs, since I didn't test most of those changes.
Just a suggestion, but make it so that the STAB killers (Blue's Starmie, etc) can't be distracted or killed after they are lynched, or at least distracted. Kinda defeats the purpose of being "vengeful" if 2 PLs hop on you or something.
I can make them avoid kills, but not distraction. PLs are already too nerfed in Trainers, no point in nerfing them even more.

Every man for themself, with an advantage for the Exeggutor which never has to transform to kill. I think it would be cool if the small games only had wild Pokemon and one trainer. It would make the Wild Pokemon feel more like a true side, where a problem I had with the previous small game setups was that it was really hard for Wild Pokemon to win when it was 3 vs a Trainer and Mewtwo and one of the wilds usually gets caught. It also fits the theme's flavor a lot better. Kind of weird to play Trainers and there is no Trainer.
That setup only occurs on 4p. If I had Trainers + Wild in 4p, Trainer would catch a Pokémon N1, which would make the game already begin at 2 vs 2, which would often make the game end at N1. Even if I used only VCLR for Wild, that would likely be something like Trainer + Killer + Killer + Mayor, which would mean Trainer wins if catching Mayor N1 (lynch a killer; the other will either kill Trainer or caught Mayor, but the survivor will catch/outvote them), with most other situations being really too predictable and hard to counter.
I could, but is 4p hurting the theme? I get what you mean that it feels weird to have no Trainer in Trainers, but some extra options for non-peak times could be useful. Another option would be having a new Wild Pokémon that would be especially suited for non-peak games. Suggestions are welcome.
It wasn't just that there was no trainer, but that it was a free for all with a bunch of killers. The new Wild Pokemon would have to be uncatchable or lose its powers when caught, because as you pointed out, it would be a 2v2 after n1. Maybe you could have a Pikachu which is a killer/mayor, but loses it's power when caught because Pikachu doesn't like to be in a Pokeball. You could also replace the Trainer with Mewtwo, which would probably be a better choice for 4p games.
Another problem with the setup: the game comes to a standstill if Exeggutor is lynched and no one converted.
