Server Doesn't Implement Mod Changes?

    Hi, I've seen similar problems among this forum but no solid solution. My mod that includes custom pokemon and different moves on existing pokemon works fine in the teambuilder when I install it. However, my server does not seem to want to implement these changes even after going to my server->Mods-> Selecting my mod in the drop down-> clicking OK. In my server when you try to battle with said custom pokemon they will be a Missing No. and unable to be used. I've ran a server with custom pokemon before and have done nothing differently so I'm confused as to why it is not working this time.

    Found the problem and fixed it. Will compile and upload for windows (count an hour or two), same version number.

    I seem to be having the exact same issue. specifically if I test a battle then all pokemon automatically revert to type effectiveness based on their original types (but it still says they have their new ones), new moves do nothing, etc. Obviously the above solution doesn't work since the program is now a year of versions into the future.

    Well you need to have the mod installed on both server and clients... are you sure you have it selected on the server?

    i went to mods and selected it then clicked OK, yeah
    the server doesn't say anything when i do that but idk if it's supposed to anyway

    i guess it could be a structure thing but when i export the mod from the server and then have the client use it it works fine

    Well, it could be plenty of things...

    First you should start with only one thing in your mod, for example adding a new move that does the same thing as Tackle, and make it work on both server & client. If it doesn't work, post the corresponding mod here (just for that one thing) and i'll see whats the problem. (Or post it on github, that'd be extra great)

    not familiar with how github works, here is a basic mod though which adds a single test move, when bulbasaur uses it nothing happens (not even a miss message)

    the zip was saved through the server's export function btw

    i asked a friend to try the same thing and it didnt work for him

    just to make sure, can you describe what youre doing when setting up the server?

    Maybe it's your server version?

    I just put the extracter folder in the Mods folder, and selected it in the server mods config.

    i only downloaded the program recently so the server shouldn't be outdated. it says v2.4.1

    A new version is coming soon anyway because of new pokemon, etc. Let's see if you'll still have your problem then.

    for what it's worth I suspect the problem is with the server as I got bored and tested DiamondMeta.zip from the pinned guide thread and had the same issue.

    note that the server will still go by the potential moves for each pokemon of the chosen mod (so like if you say bulbasaur can use roar of time that still works), types and moves just "revert" for some reason (though you still get the correct type/move info while hovering over them)

    so, any news on what the problem could be? I still haven't gotten it to work which is very frustrating and there has not yet been a new version.

    I'm on windows 7 in case there's just some issue hosting servers there.

    Furthermore, the server does detect the right types, as script functions (sys.pokeType1/2) tell you the modified ones. I am pretty sure that this has something to do with BattleServer.exe, as everything from Server.exe is fine.
