I guess we should wait for the Deo-D / Tornadus-T vote to end to see a real change in the stats.
Deoxys-D isn't even on the list... And Tornadus-T is also pretty low Good to see ranked players using Keldeo.
I'm not sure what to expect after the torn-t/deo-d ban, but perhaps rain would be less dominant, which is a perfect condition for sand to reign supreme (again)
Sand reigning supreme? Rain is still there and all of it's amazing aboosers. Tornadus-T is just a sub-problem :< Also, Deoxys-D is just an overhyped Smogon-threat. Grats on following their trail of breadcrumbs.
Just this. Sand has nothing to become "Supreme" and Rain will still be there. You will just miss Tornadus-T out of the arsenal of abusers of rain, even though he is an important and imo the only broken one. Like Hannah said, grats on doin exactly what smogon does rofl.
I can't believe they banned Tornadus-T and Deoxys-D when neither was even remotely broken. No one was complaining before Smogon banned them. Maybe we should just follow Smogon's tiers (although I would miss using Klinklang in NU and Metagross in UU). Conkeldurr at 38. WTF??
There was a part of me that wanted Tornadus-T to get banned, it was too annoying and well everyone was complaining about it. Biggest bs was Deoxys-D though, really annoyed at how they were able to turn a so-so suicide lead like that into this broken monster. I assume suspect discussions for Stealth Rocks and other hazards are on their way too.
I'd be quite happy with Stealth Rock getting banned. A lot of SR weak Pokemon would get more usage, and it would shake up the metagames a lot. At the moment, every team has to have a Stealth Rock setter. Spikes and T Spikes are OK, because they get significantly worse distribution and all Flying/Levitating (and Poison and Steel types in T Spikes's case) Pokemon are immune. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we should have a suspect discussion on Stealth Rock. But if we did, I'd be voting BAN.
"So-So suicide lead." If it is "so-so," I imply you mean average to mediocre. Deoxys-D was by far the best hazard / suicide lead in OU, no questions asked. Also, your basically saying that support / defensive mons cannot be broken (based off that, offensive mons can only be broken.) If that was the case, Ferrothorn would be NU, while Electevire would be OU. Obviously, that's not right. Support Pokemon, specifically hazard setters, can be broken. And with Deoxys-D being the best of the best, bringing a hazard-setting efficiency rate that nothing else matched, bar other Deoxys forms, made it broken.
Deoxys-D ban is stupid. Best hazard lead? Sure. But 2 layers of hazards isn't exactly game breaking... Skarm/Forry/etc. can do just as well most of the time
Can we have a U-turn suspect discussion? in that case they could stop saying Landorus-I is broken and Genesect can return to OU too. /end of sarcasm In a more serious note, while Tornadus-T ban was acceptable, i just facepalmed to the Deoxys-D ban. That thing wasn't remotely broken, but wee... what is done, is done.
