Pokémon Online on Android does not yet have a team builder, so you need to build your team on the computer first - with the computer version of the app. Once you've built your team, you have several ways to get it on your android. 1) Team file transfer The best way, in my opinion, is to install something like dropbox on your android. This is an app that allows you to store stuff on the cloud. If you put teams in your dropbox from your computer, then on the android app, you can select "Import Team From File", and load the team from your dropbox. Otherwise, you can transfer your team manually to your phone. If you have an application like ES File Explorer or Astro installed on your phone, when you select "Import Team From File", you'll be able to use them as a file explorer to select the team file. 2) QR Code This is a legacy option that I think some still will find useful, so it's still there. On your pokemon online client, you need to add the QR Code plugin. For that, in the plugins menu, select "Plugin Manager", "Add plugin", and choose the file with "QRCode" in its name. Then in your plugin menu you have the option to export the team to QRCode. Once it's done, a QR Code will pop up on your computer, like this one for example: Just scan it (Import Team > from QRCode) and the team will automatically be imported! If you really don't know anything about plugins, the tutorial for the old version will show you!
Don't forget you can avoid using a computer altogether by going to http://pkmn.in/ and building a (legal) team there and downloading directly to your phone. Pretty handy.
hey. thanks for the tut! does the qr code work for the mac version 2.0.1? i can't seems to find it. also i like the team you made :) I'm using it as i currently can't use my own qr codes
Mac version can auto update to 2.0.2. Then maybe? I'll bug the mac dev but he's busy (so may take a few days :x)
Are you able to transfer 10 boxes full of teams from computer to the android? Or do you have to do it one at a time?
Put all the team folders in your dropbox, load the folders on your phone, and you can use them w/e you want.
Sweet and one more question, how do you get to other channels inside Pokemon Online server, like tournaments?
Swipe the chat page to the left to see the channel list on the right. Swipe the chat page to the right to see the player list on the left. This is usable in battle too. Swiping the battle screen to the left will show the full party of pokemon to choose from. Holding a channel name, player name, pokemon or move will bring up a list of other options or info.
I downloaded the app and made a team and had no problem importing the team but after that how do I use the team please help!!!
Did you make it using the Opera browser? If you use the standard browser, then the file will be saved in an unusable file type.
hi I need to switch to 2.5.3 im on 2.5.2 currently...however im on android and theyre two different apps....2.5.2 and 2.5.3...ive downloaded es file manager as told..and when I do import from file. ...which file do I select for importing?there are only options showing pokemon online.apk....I did select that but no use ..PS:THERE ARE TWO OR THREE SUCH APKS regarding earlier versions. Please Help
I had downloaded and imported also theny import was successful but when I view my team by clicking edit team their are missing can u tell mRNA link to download pokemon teams
What to do in this case is. 1)Go to your old po app and type /importable and write it down somewhere (you cant copy paste) 2)Open PO 2.5.3 and open the teambuilder... now here press the menu. 3)Press Download Team. It will ask for a Raw link. Type it down and press okay 4)If you get a downloaded successfully swipe right and check whether all 6 pokemon are there with their moves. If not. Leave the process and start from 2) again 5)If it is done then save it as a new team with the tier included P.S this is my preferred way of importing teams. The other methods do not work for me somehow.
Pls add in next update importing through text (importable shud be in android) its very tough to make a Gus team .pls just we copy and paste import table and team comes in android pls
Like I said before that(my previous post) was the only way of importing teams into my droid. I don't see any other possible way.
You can always take the team in the text form, paste it into pastebin, click the raw button, and copy and paste the link into the options > download team option
I try to import from dropbox from a .txt file and it still shows up with no team and I use the download team with pastebin and all that shows up is <meta property="og:title" content="Lopunny
dropbox importing doesn't work anymore, and iirc the .txt file has a different layout that isn't recognized when trying to download a team
Well then another way is if you put the team into this exact format into paste bin click the raw button, copy and paste the link into the download option Format should look like this Spoiler Absol (M) @ Absolite Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature - Sucker Punch - Knock Off - Play Rough - Swords Dance Roserade (M) @ Black Sludge Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef Calm Nature - Leech Seed - Spikes - Sludge Bomb - Giga Drain Umbreon (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Synchronize EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef Careful Nature - Wish - Protect - Foul Play - Heal Bell Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite Trait: Pressure EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SDef Impish Nature - Will-O-Wisp - Seismic Toss - Rest - Sleep Talk Darmanitan (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Sheer Force EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - Flare Blitz - U-turn - Rock Slide - Earthquake Crobat (M) @ Choice Band Trait: Infiltrator EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - Brave Bird - Cross Poison - U-turn - Defog
If you do pastebin make sure its the raw link which is why it's explicitly stated. Other wise it will just end up reading the header to the source. And it doesn't know what to do with this :" <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <title>[Bash] danbooru@server2:~/danbooru$ bundle exec cap production deploy:setup --trace ** - Pastebin.com</title> " The RAW button below the title
