Maybe should count the pokemon that survived in the won battles of the finals, the one with the most survives wins?

I was thinking you treat it like they each one the round against each other and get half of their respective wins points, then you just scale the point cost up 10% or so.

Standard tiebreaker rules would be however many losses you took. Eg: Whoever 2-0ed the most would win. However, that may provide an unsatisfactorily exciting ending.

My vote would be to lose points rather than gain them, as OU is one of the most boring tiers, imo.

Ultimately its up to the organizers though.

    2/3 finalists hates OU :)

If we earn points, then we will have enough to use almost all tier 1 pokemons, meaning it''s just standard OU, aka the whole point of the tour is gone D:

Yes. I preefer the same points.
400 points... this smells to OU metagame. This tournament isn´t OU. :P
    But you decide.

PS: The Tuesday I will go to a festival. The Sunday I will back. But I couldn´t play the Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

It isn't the tournament finalists role to dictate how the tournament should be hosted and why their preferences should be disregarded. Although, because a 3 way tie isn't winning or advancing to the next round, it would only seem LOGICAL that they play with the same point totals. This will also allow the users to use some of the same teams (if they choose to) and/or build new teams within the same structure of the current round that they are logically in. This may also aid in making this tiebreaker be finished somewhat more promptly as well. Just my thoughts if i was hosting the tour.

Also, @ coyotte, doing a tiebreaker based on who had more living pokemon or dead is a poor tiebreaker format because some playstyles such as stall would strive to have more things alive when they win then an offensive playstyle which wins but in different means. again, just my logical thoughts. and since there's a 2-0, 2-0, 2-0 tiebreaker you can't even feel the need to tiebreak them based on games won-Lost because they are tied in that regards. Although tiebreaking it in this fashion might be a good way; assuming the next round robin isn't yet again tied/tied.

I would just have each player battle each other again with the same point total for best of 1 until a finalist beats both of their opponents in that tiebreaker round. It's up to the TA's to make the call, however.
