    ==General==
    *Highest HP stat of all the LC pokemon
    *great Attack and Special Defense stats
    *Good movepool
    *Fighting weakness and Ghost immune
    *Good ability in Thick Fat
    *DO NOT USE LEFTIES ON MUNCHY

    ==Set1(Offensive Tank)==
    Munchlax (F) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 SDef
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Return / Body Slam
    - Earthquake
    - Fire Punch
    - Pursuit

    *EV spread maximized Munchlax’s High Attack and Special Defence stats.
    *Return is used as the preferred main STAB-attack and hit like a truck giving the EV spread and Adamant nature.
    *Body Slam is another choice when looking for a STAB. The paralysis chance is also very appealing.
    *Fire Punch is used so that Munchlax gains the ability to beat common Steel-types like Ferroseed and Bronzor.
    *Earthquake hits Fire- and Electric-types hard like Ponyta and Chinchou.
    *Although Munchlax should not be used as a Misdreavus check / counter, since it can Will-O-Wisp Munchlax, Pursuit helps beat a fleeing Misdreavus.
    *Eviolte is the item of choice and increases Munchlax’s already good bulk to ridiculous levels.
    *Since Munchlax is not using something like Oran Berry for Gluttony, Thick Fat is the choice of ability.
    *Thick Fat enables Munchlax to pseudo resist Ice- and Fire-type attacks. This helps Munchlax to effortlessly switch into Snover’s Blizzard or Ponyta’s Flare Blitz.

    ==Set2(PHazer)==
    Munchlax (F) @ Eviolite
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: n/a
    n/a Nature
    - Whirlwind
    - Body Slam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

    *Best used on more defensive / stall orientated teams that rely on Hazard staking.
    *Rest only form of recovery, which also cures Munchlax from status.
    *Sleep Talk is used so that Munchlax is not deadweight while being asleep.
    *Whirlwind to PHaze the opponent’s pokemon, this works well since hazards should be in play.
    *Body Slam should be used otherwise Munchlax becomes Taunt bait. Body Slam’s paralysis chance is only really nice.
    *Something about EV’s
    *Eviolte preferred item which increases Munchlax’s already good bulk.
    *This set is easily exploited by Ghost-types especially those who carry Taunt.

    ==Other Options==
    *Curse
    *Stockpile
    *Substitute + Focus Punch
    *Toxic
    *Seed Bomb
    *Oran Berry + Recycle
    *Weather support
    *Zen Headbutt hits Fighting-types harder than Return.
    *Selfdestruct
    *Choice Band

    ==Check & Counter==
    *Fighting-types, like Mienfoo and Timburr, are a real nuisance for Munchax. They can beat Munchlax with their Fighting STAB-attacks.
    *As mentioned on the PHazer set, Taunt shuts defensive Munchlax down.
    *Defensive orientated pokemon like Hippopotas can beat Munchlax one-on-one since most of them have recovery.
    *Toxic / Will-O-Wisp

    If anyone has a EV spread Munchlax can use on the PHazer set please PM me or post in this thread thanks.

    For Phazer set, careful nature and 236 HP / 36 Def / 236 SpD?

    The phazer has a couple options that would work

    EVs: 236 HP / 116 Def / 156 SDef
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

    Gives you the greatest bulk with an emphasis on Special Defense that you can hope for hitting the highest even number in both Defense and Special Defense meaning you gain 2 additional points from the Eviolite rather then 1.5 which would be rounded down.

    Blitz's set gets 33 hp 16 defense, 28 special defense. While mine gets 33 hp, 18 Defense, 27 special defense one point more efficient.

    Another option would be to give it attack like the first set it would still wall most special attackers quite well although only one attacking move would hinder it if you slashed crunch next to whirlwind it would be a better option.

    EVs: 76 HP / 196 Def / 236 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    Is a third option which gives you the best mixed bulk at the expense of a small amount of special bulk it reaches 31 Hp, 21 Defense, 27 Special Defense an additional point higher then the previous set.

    Add Zen Headbutt in OO as it hits Fighting Type switch ins slightly harder then even Return.
    And Crunch deserves a mention for hitting Ghost Types hard even if they don't switch out.

    I've add Zen Headbutt to OO. (Munchlax doesn't learn Crunch btw.) I'm still looking for more discussion on the EV spread. By the looks of it I'm probably going with Mewthree's third set. Thanks for the feedback thusfar.

    Oh my bad... When the evolution learns it I tend to not even check, bad habit.

    Both Counter and Self Destruct could do with OO mentions both being almost guaranteed a kill if played intelligently it has the bulk to live almost any physical attack while its HP is so high it'll likely be a KO on the opponent. Self Destruct even after being Nerfed has the equivalent of 300 base power which is more then enough to 1HKO almost the entire tier.

    I agree with Selfdestruct OO. Although it's somewhat diminished from Gen IV.
    As for Counter, I'm not so sure. I don't see it working that well.
    I think Munchy can pull off Banded sets OK. That might deserve an OO mention.
    Everything else looks great to me. Go ahead and write.
