Look, Wrap moves should last 3 turns on average: 3/8 chance of 2-3 hits each and 1/8 chance of 4-5 hits each. Right now Wrap, Fire Spin and Bind last 3-5 turns (1/3 chance each) and Clamp always lasts 5 turns. If the next PO update comes with the fix on the number of turns, then, all four moves will be lasting an average of 3.5 turns, which is still 0.5 or 16.67% more turns than they should.

So, what if, instead of 2-5 turns, we told Coyo to make wrap moves last 2-4 instead? Okay, wrap mechanics still wouldn't be totally accurate, but at least the avaregae turns they last would be correct. It wouldn't be any harder to implement 2-4 instead of 2-5 turns; I think Isa submitted the min_max_turns.txt file with the moves updated to 2-5 turns so it will be as hard as editing four numbers.

    So who's with me?

    I'm not sorry.

As I've said to you before, we already have enough mechanics on PO that didn't exist in the game. This would just make it lose even more legitimacy.

I also disagree with this. We shouldn't replace improper mechanics with improper mechanics.

This quote pretty much sums it up. If you want to ensure it is fixed correctly, make sure coyo knows what needs fixing correctly.
