Well, I think I already posted this some time ago but idk if devs read it so I'd think to post it again. i'm sure a lot of people find annoying to enter to watch some battle and missing the first turns of the game that already happened. I think it would be very useful for people letting them watching the full log since the start like Pokemon Showdown does. Thanks for reading in advice, hope you consider it :)
This was answered in one of Zodiak's threads. It is difficult (or not possible) to make it so that everyone can see the start of the battle even if you come in late. This was already rejected before. I'm sure Lamperi, or Crystal can give you a more efficient answer.
I'm pretty sure I've seen this implemented on PS, and while we are a different kind of simulator, we are still in a sort of competition with them. I think it would be very beneficial as a feature and a way to keep the PO simulator relevant. Of course I don't know how to code any of that, I just know how to talk about it ;P
yes, like elements referred to me, I had made a post about the new battle window where it keeps PP count, I reported that I attempted to leave a match that I was viewing in the old battle window format and re-entered it to use this PP count feature but what I had realized is PO was only keeping track of the PP that had been viewed by the viewer and not the "actual/real time" PP count. If it was possible for PO devs to incorporate real time PP count, I think that would be an improvement, which is also similar to the topic being posted here. I think this would also be an improvement for the long run.
