I did basically everything that could be done with that role, faking game mechanics and saving my death multiple nights, attempting to influence lynches with said mechanics and I was about to kill myself the night I had died, which I believe would have won me the game. But eh. It does kinda annoy me when you say that, seeing as I had one of the best players on my opposing side, partnered with a great ability in the Dancer and a healer in Meow, which is quite the axis, and you didn't have any shit to deal with like that, having a damn 5 voter on your side. And of all the aliases to pick, wae chose mine, leading me to believe he knew it was me and retardedly counter, so then I was fucked from there on... >_> fucking Power, 2nd worst in game.

by the way, in these games, I have a serious problem with multivoters, it makes it totally inbalanced imo.

get your postgame up so I can get my shitpost up

PPS. Meow, I don't actually think I leaked that to MS. like everyone in the game had it, I did leak it to Archer, but he declined...as he already had it, lmao.

TSO's troll level was zero, and sorry guy but I had one alliance up until he won and that was Meowmix. I was so convinced that only one person won that I didn't really open up to other players, I may have won sooner if I wasn't being as reserved as I was... My ability didn't help me much as most of the aliases I targeted weren't even my enemies.

if we're being rude then I would love to hear how a player who didn't even understand the game's mechanics could "raise the troll level".
and you didn't even do anything to get MS lynched, that was Marcello.'s work, which you just profited off
I can be rude as fuck if you want, have had a shitty day, just give me the opportunity

I want to agree with Michu here, way to much rage. Anyway, finally have some free time, so going to work on the postgame now. As a quick responce to TSO:
No roles was "Broken" as you claim. If anybody still thinks Mark's role is broken, they're retarded, I'm sorry, but it's true, extensive work was put into balancing, and no role had a free ride, so while power levels varied greatly, if you were strong you had strong enemies. As for bullshit hosting, once again, I apologize for the late deadlines, though I don't see how that effected the game's play, and the only real mistake I can see is Fege's, which I implicitly apologize for (seriously and sincerely, sorry).

Also, let's look at VB's winners:
IFM - def deserved to win, played amazingly well.
Meowmix - probably deserved to win, but if you people bitch at me about OP roles, this dude had 3 votes, 21 hp, 3 attack, and a vote redirect.
Xinc - I really am not sure, don't remember him much. So probably either got lucky, or played well.
Zzyzx Road - played pretty well, and managed to maximize his ability.
Jalmont - michu ftw
TheSexiOne - you should have died. true fact. only won because of Michu's heal and that double non-nerfed hook. did you deserve to win? maybe, probably yes. should you have won if roles were balanced as you seem to want them to be? no.
Jiggles - backstabbed frickin' everybody, no clue why people still like them (in mafia. as a person, they're great). so yeah, deserved.
Nexus - once again, OP ability is the only reason they won.

so while yes, a majority deserved to win, we had three OP, and undeniably OP, roles win.

in this game, I want you to name even one person who didn't deserve to win that beat somebody who did, and a single player who had an OP role.

Ok, so yeah, I'm going to break this shit down into three sections. First will be the setup, why it was made the way it was, and how. Second will be thoughts on how people played. Finally I'll have my thoughts on the game as a whole and Awards. So yeah, I'll get started on the first one now.

It must be my sunny personality
tbf the only reason I won that game was bcoz of Nexus' OPed as hell role, which was basically why I had to backstab Bebbz :( and in turn you

Ok, how to start. In this game, I wanted the whole prospect of large "teams" to be more prominent, but not required and still give players freedom. I thought a good way to do with would be via use of role names. I would break people down into three factions. Gold, Silver, and Diamond. As Jiggles said, Gold was based primarily on offence, and able to boost their attacks, deal damage, etc. Silver was based off of defense, and healers and ways to block damage. Diamond was originally intended to be information based, but then I decided to give all teams an inspector and make diamond day-phase oriented. As such, they had vote control, silences, announce, lynch stop, etc. The original "information" orientation can still be seen in how they have (arguably) the best inspector, and the insp has +HP, and the Q/A. The Gold inspector was nerfed a little in getting aliases since with their attack and information added on, I felt they might have to much of an advantage, possibly taking out three enemies a night. However, to compensate, they got to pick based on name instead of shooting in the dark.

Anyway, at this point, I couldn't think of a reason for the different teams to stay together at all aside from name. To remedy this, I gave each team a King. The King was designed to be an OP role which would draw other roles to them and make team play more likely. To do this, I gave them the standard boosted stat spread of 21/4/2. Later on, I decided to change it to only a single vote, and give them the ability to recruit banner-men who would give them an additional vote, one per phase, effectively giving them 2 votes a day that stack when they don't vote. So that they couldn't get too powerful, I limited them to using three at one time, and so a limit of 4 max votes. The Gold King got the ability to boost other's attack, the Silver King could defend a player against /most/ damage, and the Diamond King could heal his group of allies. To make the roles not OP in practice, I made it so they all had each other as enemies. This prevented them from gaining allies with shared WCs and gave them all equally powerful enemies. However, this set-up left each King with one remaining enemy. As such, I created three "Power" roles. The Great Dragon, Tarnished General, and the Mystic Phoenix. Each was designed to be the bane of the King they were against. The Great Dragon had massive HP, and a boosting attack which could play off the Gold's difficulty gaining information. The Tarnished General had effectively 10 attack, and could slash through the King's defensive ability, while not having their full attack blocked by redirects or kidnaps. The Mystic Phoenix had 5 vote, just enough to overpower a King, and an ability which let them take over the vote. When distributing these roles enemies, I made the Phoenix and General enemies, and gave each of the three one enemy amoungst their King's "team." This left the Great Dragon with one unaccounted for enemy, and the Phoenix with it's massive vote. As a way to counter these problems, I made a pseudo-King of sorts. This was the Diamond Hero. They have the 21/4 spread, and boosted votes in a way with a vote block ability. This also conveniently let them counter the Phoenix, but only loosely so it wouldn't be too hard for the Phoenix to win.

Now I decided to make the teams. Between all the roles I already had, I had 3 teams of 7, and of each team, 2 spots were taken by a Kind and an Insp. The next role I made for each was a sort of secondary leader. The Diamond's was obvious in the form of the Diamond Hero, and I made the Gold Alchemist and Silver Knight for those respective team. They had boosted HP, and an identical ability in the form of one-time damage. I was now left with four spots on each team, and the enemies of all the roles I currently had, with the exception of the inspectors, worked out pretty well. So, I divided the teams remaining members into groups of three and two. The two would have all identical enemies, and the three would share two enemies each. This meant that the two of one team could all have the three of another as enemies, forming a nice little loop of enemies. To compensate for the two having all identical enemies, they would have three enemies who could all gang together against them. The remaining one enemy of the three groups were distributed around to nicely fill a couple of holes, and add variation.

After that point I had a nice set-up, I went into personal ability of the roles. Originally I had the inspector as part of the two-man team, however, given the Gold Inspector's nature, I changed them to part of the three. As aliases were particularly important for the Redirector, I pared them as part of a two with the Silver Insp. The Diamond Merchant was meant to have power over the vote after the Phoenix, and so I pared them with the Diamond Insp to let them know who to vote.

On the Gold Team, and the Gold vs Diamond 2 vs 3, I made the Gold team of two the Hooker and Ventriloquist. Both roles didn't quite fit into the Gold theme, and had very useful abilities. The Gold Ventriloquist could act as a pseudo-inspector for the group, and could be countered by the Diamond Assassin. As a counter for the Assassin, there was a Gold Hooker pared with the Ventriloquist. As some limits to the Hooker's power, they're ability could only be used every other night. At this point though, they seemed a little bit to weak, and when you add onto that how their hook only helped against one of there three enemies, I gave them an additional ability to manipulate their stats. This meant if the Diamonds could gain information quickly and abuse that info, they could take them down easily, but as time went on, the Hooker became decent in it's own right without the Hook.

On the 2 vs 3 conflict of the Silvers and Golds, it was pretty straight-forward. There were powerful attackers, and one redirector. To stop it from being overkill, the Gold has a role inspector based on name, and a tracker, both of whom would easily discover the redirector with a single action. And yeah, that was really the extent of it.

The 2 vs 3 fight of Diamonds vs Silvers was a little more interesting. The Diamonds had the whole Role Cop + Boosted Voter thing, which would be quite OP, not because of outright power to lynch, but because of the strength a 5 vote holds with other people and in the game in general. To give the Silver's a fighting chance, I made one, the healer, completely lynch immune, and gave another a voteshield of -3. The third was a kidnapper, who had the ability to completely stop the Diamond Merchant from voting. As one last nerf, I made it so the Merchant couldn't spam their vote, and would have to be careful with it by making it decrease at times.

I then looked over all the different roles, and went around making minor corrections to minutely make sure things were balanced. Merchant was given an additional HP+Vote check, Ventriloquist got 4 attack, Tarnished General had -2 votes, Crier got a lynch stop, Astrologist got 1.5 votes, etc. As an additional note, the General and Hooker, who could both get negative votes, were made unable to vote for themselves, preventing them from using negative votes like a normal positive boosted vote.

I think that the fact that there were multiple winners from each faction speaks for how well the game was balanced. Despite all the complaints that the game was unbalanced, and certain roles were OP or UP, there were two Silver winners, three Gold winners, four Diamond winners, and one Power winner. And interesting thing to note, however, is that in all 3 vs 2 conflicts, the 2 won, and all the Phoenix's enemies won. Add on the Gold Alchemist, who had their twin lose early on, and their Power die with the Gold King, and you get the complete set of winners.

So yeah, that's how I made the game, got the set-up, designed roles as they were, etc. Also, it wasn't really "I," as Water helped me with the whole thing. Admittedly it was mainly my creation, but Water still can't be forgotten. Conclusion: @Everybody who said I didn't put time or effort into this or who claimed roles were OP and Broken, screw you; You suck.

MeowMix
MeowMix . . . #1 in both my player list, and apparently the game. I have to say, it was amazing to watch how everything worked out so well for you. display of both skill and luck. Played well in the connections game, getting information, and then a perfect fakeclaim made his life a lot easier by taking out an enemy while protecting him and giving him information all the while. Helped quite a few people to win, and placed his heals well. Was important in a number of lynches, and used his abilities perfectly. Not only all of that, but throughout the entire game he suffered only a single blow. GG Meow, very well played.[/HIDE]
Chinchou
Chinchou, sux 2 be u. Sorry, but it's true. In retrospect, it was really dumb to have "Water" as an alias in a game were Water was a co-host. Even if you didn't die just for that, it probably helped the name stick out in people's mind. Sorry :[[/HIDE]
BeastCharizard
The Epic Tale of Beast Charizard, the Last King of the Golds, is a long tale. In the middle of a conflict filled land, immersed in war, and surrounded by chaos, he provided a center of order. He rallied his troupes together, and ordered the first coordinated attack. The most powerful presence early game, an amazing warrior. However, after many months of struggle and conflict, fighting off the devious King of Diamonds, the dread Great Dragon attacked, striking a critical blow. As the news of his fall spread, all who heard wept. A true legend, they shall never be forgotten. [/HIDE]
Windblown
For a first timer to the game, they caught on very quickly, and did well to learn. Their heals were pretty important, and contributed to others success. However, in the end, they were left alone with their enemies, and nobody remaining to help them. [/HIDE]
Jiggles
They really didn't do that much, and mainly got a free ride with Marcello. However, all the same, their abilities proved invaluable to their and Mark's success, by disrupting enemy defense and providing valuable swing in lynches.[/HIDE]
RedJoker25
One of the Gold Alliance, they unfortunately fell as all their brethren did. Not much more then that to say, one of the more early deaths, may have done more if only they had lived longer.[/HIDE]
MetalSonic
Made a quite bad decision to throw his lot in with TSO. His earlier actions were quite disruptive, and got information for him while messing others up. Ended up being lynched so that TSO could be killed, and because of it, died. Might have been able to win if not for it, but who knows. They lived a good life.[/HIDE]
Archerknight
Started out good, though they didn't make use of the lifted restrictions to their ability. Had extremely difficult opponents to take out, and when TSO lost, most chances of an easy win were as well. If only they had been alone in endgame with Mark and Jiggles, coulda won[/HIDE]
ProfDEADPOOL
Didn't play as the most active ever, and really just hung back a lot. Ended up being a pawn used to take out BeastCharizard, their main enemy. Afterwards, overwhelmed by powerful enemies and take out.[/HIDE]
TheSexiOne
Played probably one of the best games of anybody. Messed with the public allied themselves with just the right people to survive, turned most of the game against their enemies, and head a great plan B. Unfortunately, misinformation turned away most of their early attempts, and in the end, right before they could fake their own death, they died for real.[/HIDE]
Human Destroyer
Sat around, hosted their own game, got information, fuzzy killed their enemies, chuck a couple of attacks, GG.[/HIDE]
Marcello.
Really the main focus of the entire game. Once again, their ability was not OP. Played amazingly well, spreading misinformation, using their ability to control the mindless droves of played, surviving everything that came at them, and eventual breaking down their opponents defenses for a win. Also, a huge deal of luck, such as faking Waehofen's alias as their own, and having Archer fail to find it out as false, TIWSS dying early, were involved, but all the same, very well played.[/HIDE]
Nicehat
Not really much happened, voted around a bit, almost died, spent most of the game with 1 HP. And yeah, that's pretty much the story of Nicehat.[/HIDE]
TIWSS
Very unfortunately for Archer and TSO, he died early on, and lost the Diamonds much needed power, in addition to the ability to disable Mark. Otherwise would undoubtable have played an amazing game. Could still have won when they were revived, but they their reviver got lynched the same day as their resurrection, so yeah.[/HIDE]
Falconswin11
Joined the game, didn't connect, and then died. Really sucked for the Golds, as he was their only and much needed inspector.[/HIDE]
Waehofen
Played very interestingly, all things considered. Managed to gain info on a large portion of the game thanks to bluffing and his ability while remaining relatively anonymous to most people. However, his enemies united against him, and that was the end of it.[/HIDE]
IronStorm
Joined with Beast early on, and managed to get his already high damage dual attacks boosted even higher, 2 per hit. Slinging damage around, he was the main reason people took damage, and his random attacks had huge impact later in the game. Ended up winning with relative ease thanks to one afk opponent and one who random died early on.[/HIDE]
IFM
Mainly lurked, not drawing much attention, if any, to himself, and leaving most in the dark on his abilities. All his opponent pretty much got themselves killed, and almost got the amazing win of all three of his opponent dying in a single night. A very impressive win considering he had two Powers, the strongest roles in the game, as opponents. On an interesting note, his role could beat any other role 1v1[/HIDE]
Drigger
A mix up of game rules (how . . . ?) seems to have hurt his ability to help others out. Ended up really not doing much aside from sending out inspection and the occasional attack.[/HIDE]
Fuzzysqurl
Really should have died many times over, but it seems nobody wanted to kill out fuzzy little squrl. Redirected a huge amount of attacks, both to defend his allies and harm his enemies. With such a huge amount, pulling of a win was relatively easy, and that's what he did. Participated in the Mark vs TSO conflict, ended up being the main reason TSO lived so long, and the only one on TSO's side to prosper from the event.[/HIDE]
Xinc
A F Kbest replace evar[/HIDE]
Fegelein
Seriously, sorry bro, you're the one person in the entire game who I think has the right to be angry with me. Still, despite it all, played decently, and if only they'd not been lynched, might have been able to win.[/HIDE]
Not L
Subbed in at an unfortunate point, really to late and to weekend to do much. Still, managed to contribute to the cause, and tracked some important actions. If they'd been in from the beginning, might have been able to do something.[/HIDE]
Pikachu-Fan
Got lucky between one opponent dying early on from a random shot, and was relatively ignored by the Dragon while they fired off attacks, while their third opponent failed to kill any enemies and had low offensive power, and so they were overwhelmed. Almost was the only Gold to win.[/HIDE]

I never played a ffa mafia... And nowhere in the rules said multiple winners... It just said win -.-

I won anyway so fu... The only person who probably made a solid attempt at this game was meowmix... He collected a lot of data and kept it all neat like. Anyone else was just collateral damage... I really dont understand why so many persons seemed to have it out for Marcello, personally I wouldn't have said a word against him if he wasn't being an arrogant jerk face...

PS... U lost TSO :3, I won... It sucks losing to someone who didn't understand the game doesn't it? Lol

After many months of conflict, the war finally came to an end. The first person to emerge from the conflict was the Diamond King, all of his opponents conquer. He quickly marched to the Diamond Palace, and set about rebuilding his beloved kingdom, restoring it to a modicum of peace. The trickiest of the Silvers, the Illusionist and the Spy, managed to break free of the conflict and quickly made their way to the Diamond Palace, were, disgusted at their own King's cowardice, they quickly swore loyalty to the King. Meanwhile, the Tarnished General wondered the lands, all who he wished to kill gone, and without direction. After a month of traveling, he came across the Diamond Hero, who informed him the land's Monsters had been eliminated, and those truly responsible for the heirs' deaths had been eliminated, clearing the General's name one and for all. The two quickly made their way to the Diamond Kingdom, which was now flourishing and filled with refugees. Upon arrival at the Diamond Kingdom, the King, filled with happiness upon leaning his Son had survived the conflict as well, resigned from his position, and it was announced that the Diamond Hero was to be crowned the new acting King in one year's time. Shortly after, two survivors from the Kingdom of Gold, the Gold Druid and the Gold Dancer, appeared. After an amazing performance from the Dancer and the Druid's explanation that they wished for only peace, in addition to the epic tale they told of their adventures, both were admitted to the new land. by the Year's, the wars had fully ended, and, with all great armies and generals eliminated, the war was finally over, leaving the land aside from the Diamond Kingdom bare. Many, many from all Kingdom's who had been displaced by the fighting arrived, and two in particular caught the King's attention. They were the Diamond Merchant and the Diamond General, both old friends of the King, who told of how they had been helped by the Gold Alchemist, and were now traveling with them. As the months went by, the Kingdom grew stronger, and it's population increased, leading to a happy and productive land. The time came, and the old Diamond King, loved by all, finally stepped down, giving the Throne to his son, who was crowned the Platinum King. The new empire, standing strong and peaceful, was to be called the Platinum Kingdom, and would be a happy land filled with inhabitants of all the nations for many years to come. With the war official over, it was to be known as the Reforging, and the historic battles fought would be forever remembered.

Personally, I have extremely mixed feelings on the game. Obviously I missed deadlines quite often, and considering the potentially amazing flavor that could have been done, I'm upset I didn't have as much time as I had hoped. Also, many players weren't the most active, and some barely participated, if at all, and I feel limited the games potential. However, for those who were fully engrossed, it was truly an amazing game, at least from a viewer's perspective, and I hope for the players as well. Some stuff was done wrong, but there's a surprisingly little amount that I would do differently. Well, I hope at least a few people enjoyed it, since it's probably the last game I'll host, if not ever at least for a while.

GG all hope we all meet again in <Beast's mafia> and later my soon-to-be-released FFA!

And just for the record, my "arrogant jerk face" act probably helped me win.
