    Hi everyone, probably you already know me and know this team. With the drop of heracross this team isn't what i used to be and i decided to retire it. This is my most succesful team i peaked #1 on the uu leaderboard and won a couple of tourneys ( i loss the count but i'm sure is atleast a dozen or more) and i reached top #6 on shoddy battle with some variations .I tested this team for long time a changed alot of pokes, but i almost used the same strategy, focusing on bulky and strong hitter pokes with good resistance and capables of setting on eachother counters.

    PS: To everyone who brag out of how they beat me, you had to beat this team not trolling whiscash teams to do it.

    TEAM BUILDING PROCESS

    I wanted the best offensive core of the moment. i picked the standard nasty plot houndoom and the less common sub-punch toxicroak.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    I wanted a offesive lead with decent synergy with my other 2 pokes and bulky eneought to take a hit or two. I picked offensive lead mesprit

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    Swellow and scyther where capable of OHKO my 3 pokes, and registeel and chansey were capable of swithcing in mesprit and spread paralisiz and the later countered houndoom withouth any troublespokes and i needed a poke capable of beating and setting up on them most of the time . I choose sub-perior for the job.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    Grass types became a big issue, specially the physical ones like torterra, leafeon and sword dance sceptile, i had to choose between venasaur and exeggutor, torterra EQ hurted venasaur alot so i picked a semi-bulky exeggutor.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    The pixies and milotic (ice beam milo) were giving this team troubles and also my team was kinda slow, and i needed a poke capable of setting up on them and have a decent speed. Sub-CM mismagius was perfect for that spot, and exeggutor lured and killed spiritomb one of missy biggest counters.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    My team was incredible weak to nasty plot houndoom, my only answer to him being my only houndoom and mismagius. I changed houndoom for bulky CM ninetales being faster than houndoom and being capable of setting up on him and on some weak special atackers.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    My team became weak to ghosts and alakazam so i returned to houndoom but this time i used mixdoom. And i changed exeggutor for max speed SD leafeon for outspeeding houndoom and moltres and ohko both after SR.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    Every single milotic stoped using HP grass making my toxicroak worhtless. I changed him for the uncommon and understimated poliwrath because both have the same function and poliwrath settup on HP grass less milo.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    Without toxicroak my team became weak to special grass attacks, the specially weak leafeon bieng my only answer for thems. I changed him for specially defensive venasaur because he also covered my team other weakness like mismagius and rotom.

    ===============================================================

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    ===============================================================

    My team lacked of priority, besides the risky sucker punch, making me weak to some offensive teams, also all the rock polisher pokes were being troublesome. I choose scarfken because is capable of outspeed and ko adamant aggron/torterra and the jolly ones lacked the raw power to destroy this team. This is the final product

    Mesprit @ Lum Berry
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Grass Knot
    - Psychic
    - U-turn

    Description: I love mesprit lead, he puts offesive pressure from the begging of the match and he have a decent bulk even with no investment. He setup rocks most of the time and he can run from a bad matchup with u-turn. I always try to save him to mid game where i found being really valuable to check big threads like blaziken and venasaur

    Moves: Stealth Rock is kinda obvius, grass knot is to beat all the leads with a x4 or x2 weakness (omastar, cloyster, rhyperior, etc). Psychic is for a hard hitting STAB move and u-turn is for running from a bad matchup like alakazam and others pixies leads.

    Evs and item: Max speed is for atleast speed tie with other base 80 (kabutops, vensaur, blaziken, etc). Max atack is for hiting hard (obvius :s) and the other 4 ev are dumped in HP. Lum berry is for beating status dependant leads (scarfsaur, venomoth, jumpluff, etc) and give a decent switch in on venasaur at mid game.

    [IMG]
    Venusaur (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Overgrow
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
    Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Sleep Powder
    - Synthesis
    - Power Whip

    Description: Venasaur was the most used poke for so many time for one reason, he is so versatile that he can almost take any role you want him to. He is the only fully defensive poke of this team and is the one that keep this team together from the onslaught of specs and subseed sceptile. He is also my 1st swtich to milotic to avoid lame toxic on my poliwrath and he doesn't mind an ice beam

    Moves: Sleep powder is a most on every venasaur set, a sleeping poke give me alot of time to setup. Synthesis is to increse survivality and being afected by wheather is still better than depends from leech seed. Sludge bomb is for STAB and hiting other grass types for SE damage, power whip is what diference this set from the standard support venasaur (atleast from the old version, but i used this set before knowing about the new one) because it allows you to beat CM mismagius and not being setup fodder.

    Evs and item: The evs are fairly simple, maximizing venasaur walling capabilitys (he can even survive LO alakazam psychic ), leftovers is for survivality. Sassy nature is chosen over calm for incresing spc def without lowering power whip power.

    [IMG]
    Mismagius (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Calm Mind
    - Substitute
    - Shadow Ball
    - Thunderbolt

    Description: I love mismagius, being ghost type with levitate give him many time to swtiching and start setting up. After 2 CM venasaur and milotic (support versions) can't break her subs, making them setup fodder, that's a good thing if you considerate venasaur and milotic are the top 2 most used pokes

    Moves: Substitute and CM is what made this set special, because CM increase youe spc def/ spc atk allowing you to tank some hits and hit hard in return, and subtitute protect your for pokes who neeeds status to beat mismagius (chansey, venasaur). Shadow ball is for STAB and it also have 20% chances of lowering spc def by 1 stage, i chose t-bolt over HP fighting (regardless the perfect coverage) because that HP make you lose 1 point on spd, making you slower than other base 105 (other mismagius, scyther)

    Evs: Really simple, i dont think it need explanaiton

    [IMG]
    Poliwrath (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Water Absorb
    EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Waterfall
    - Substitute
    - Ice Punch
    - Focus Punch

    Description: This is the most understimate poke of my team, often seen like a outclassed poliwrath but he still have his niche. He can check thing croak can't: feraligator, ice beam milotic, DD altaria, RP aggron/rhyperior, double-edge/return less azumarril, etc.

    Moves: Subtitue and FP are used to pull off the old sub-punch strategy, and with poliwrath hability, type and bulkyness he is capable of doing it really well. STAB FB have a base power of 225, that mean he will hit like a truck. Waterfall if for STAB and to use it on moments where you can use FP and ice punch is for coverage.

    Evs and item: This ev are diferent from the standar set, he is a little bit faster making my poliwrath counter other poliwrath without sub. With this spreed he outspeed max speed omastar, that can be helpful to avoid a unescesary layer of spikes. Max atk is for incresing damage given and the rest on HP

    [IMG]
    Blaziken (M) @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Blaze
    EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 248 Spd
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    - Flare Blitz
    - Low Kick
    - Rock Slide
    - Blaze Kick

    Description: Infernape's weaker cousin is one of the most important member os this team. He revenge kill dangerous poke like alakazam, swellows, mismagius, houndoom, RP torterra etc. He is also and amazing clean up poke, destroying weakened foes with STAB blaze boosted blaze kick

    Moves: Rock slide is almost only for moltres, that why i don't use fail edge to kill him. Low Kick > Superpower, 2 low kicks hit hardder that 2 superpower (most of the time), also low kick dont make you setup fodder for many pokes and also you can clean up sweep with low kick, you can't say the same about superpower. Maybe 2 STABs moves looks likes too much, but blaziken dont need any other mover (low kick base power vs milotic 150, thunderpunch bsae power 150). Flare blitz is used to murder stuff until your health is low enought to activate blaze, and from there you can spam blaze kick

    Evs and item: Is scarf ken i think the item is evident. The evs are just to outspeed adamant torterra by 1 point and the rest are dump on HP just for a small amount of bulk

    [IMG]
    (No rhyperior image ;_____; )
    Rhyperior (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Solid Rock
    EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 36 Def / 84 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Megahorn
    - Substitute
    - Rock Slide

    Description: By far my favorite pokemon, he is so strong and so bulky. He can setup subs on so many pokes that is not even funny (chansey, registeel, regirock, u-turn only uxie, failbipom, pshycal spritomb, etc.....). He can dismantle stall team by himself and offensive team have problem swtiching on any of his atack, specially if he is behind a sub.

    Moves: Is a subperior, so substitute is a most, protecting rhyperior from status and eliminating prediction from the equation. I really hate stone edge thats why rock slide, EQ for really strong STAB MOVE and megahorn for coverage.

    Evs and item: Leftovers is to recover health lose by substitute and overall survivality. The HP evs are enought to make 101 subs, max atack for crushing stuff, the spd evs are enought to outspeed min spd base 50 (regis, chansey) and the def evs are to take registeel iron head better and better physical def.

    Thats all i won't make a thread list, i hope you like it

    I would go for HO Figthing on Missy, even if it depends loosing speed ties to other pokes. The coverage is more important in my opinion. On Blaziken i would not recomend two attacks of the same type =|
    As for Rhyperior i suggest trying a rock polish one, it totally rolls.

    Almost every poke i can hit with HP fighting are countered by rhyperior. Thats why i use sub-perior over RP because he can setup on mismagius hard counters (like registeel) multiple, while the RP set is more than a one shot of a sweep essily stoped by the likes of milotic, tangrowth and slowbro (the later two are beated by subperior most of the times).

    PS: Someone can change the title to retired team not restired :/

    Pretty well thought-out team, the only thing I see wrong with it is that 3 of your pokes are weak to flying and another three are weak to ground. The flying wouldn't usually be a problem, and the same with ground, but with swellow and dugtrio dominating UU it becomes a huge threat to leave this type disadvantage open. Also, you have a lack of special attackers, your only reliable one being mismagius seeing as mesprit basically looks like a stealth rocker who takes down the lead then u-turns. I suggest you switch out your poliwhirl for a milotic, keeping the fwg core while giving you another special attacker:
    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    EV's: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    Surf
    HP Grass
    Recover
    Ice Beam
    It checks everything you use poliwrath for, and has an instant recovery move. It also has some bulk behind its sp atk, making it a better choice for your water type.

    Blaziken is not Infernapes weak cousin. It's the other way around. Blaziken has significantly higher attacking stats in special and physical. I'm just saiyan.
