There is a specific person on uber tier right now who pp stalls for over an hour every time I play him. I beat him, but every time I am matched with him I must choose to either take a frustrating and rage filled hour to get a win, or to forfeit and lose. This doesn't seem right.

I will post the log of one of our matches that lasted 526 turns. He was max defense and special defense with baton pass and all of his pokemon had substitute. He only had 1 attack which was stored power, and I had a shedinja that I could switch in and stall every time he put in espeon. He literally attempted to go through all of his pokemon's pp (including their baton pass) while I just switched back and forth between my pokemon. I was using no pp, and there is no point to him stalling like this as it gained him no strategic advantage.

He also attempted to time stall until I called a mod to watch the match, but the pp stall itself is unbearable.

I do not have roar or whirlwind, but I don't believe either of these would stop this kind of stall since he carried espeon and ingrain. Honestly should having no life and stalling for 500 turns to gain no advantage be a proper way to move up the ladder?

I understand pp stalling, but can anyone tell me what advantage he gains from this except to force people to quit who don't want to commit this kind of time to a match? If it was a one time thing, I would not have posted this. This guy is frequently laddering and it is the same thing every time I match up with him. It has made the tier unplayable for my favorite team that I have.

Why should I have to change my team just because some guy who I can beat stalls me for over 500 turns every time?

Here is the link. Sorry if this is the wrong spot to post this, but it is pretty ridiculous. I have to say something. The freaking .txt file of the log is too big to post lol.

tl:dr - This guy cannot attack me, but maxes his defenses and substitute spams so I can't kill him. He then proceeds to burn through all of his stat boosting moves and baton passes while I switch back and forth using no pp. Game lasts over 500 turns when he has zero chance of winning.

One of the best ways to counter baton pass teams in Ubers is just to lead with Lum Berry Extreme Killer Arceus.
The +2 priority of E-Speed lets it "outspeed" everything and Lum Berry lets Arceus defeat Smeargle and Spore.
Running Ditto with a Choice Scarf might also help.

The fact is that, dirty is this is, he's perfectly within his rights to do it, because there isn't much else he can do. You run Shedinja which walls that, but you basically want him to switch so you can win.

Yeah i faced this guy in ubers too, but like i myself run other gimmick team too i defeated him. I run lead focus sash Beat up weavile, so like ninjask is always so predictable (protect+sub+protect+etc until+6 speed) i fake a normal attack like ice punch when he uses protect, but when he uses sub i beat up it for a OHKO XD. I run taunt on weavile too so no problems.
Anyway on a less gimmick note, shell smash cloyster, any calm mind sub arceus boosting alongside ninjask, EK lum arceus himself like ADINSX said can take those teams out. U must use heavy offense pokes but not choiced ones to take these teams out.
