I find that most players i battle against forfeit immediately as their first Pokemon dies...
They forfeit during a close match and when they feel they're about to lose they forfeit, another interesting variation of this would be to cuss at you and then forfeit even though i play fair and square...

I'm kinda new to pokemon online too, so can i ask whether there are an abundance or community of players who do this? =v=a

Maybe it would be nicer if someone can only forfeit after they have lost half their Pokemon, what do you think? -v-
I can't figure out what to do when i play fair and square and someone accuses me or cusses at me for hax or cheating... or if im predicting their pokemon....

When an opponent forfeits against you you still get the points for winning the match. A lot of people find it annoying, but in the end you still win. I don't believe that this would be implemented.

It saves you the hassle of dealing with possible comeback, and it nets you the point. Oh, it saves your time too. I don't get why would anyone complain about forfeiting.

The satisfaction of destroying your opponent without mercy?

In all honesty, it saves time from things such a sweep that is already secured (hence no point in continuing), or a stall war that is one dimensional. Assuming rated matches, it still gives you points for winning and you can continue laddering.

You just have to get a sort of tough mentality. Forfeiting isn't the problem.
