I've been a long time fan of Pokemon Online. And this is the first time this ever happened to me. Everytime, I start up Pokemon Online then click Online. I can't connect to the servers... I don't why its doing this...Have I've been banned? or Are the servers just down? Just please help me, I wanna play some pokemans...
Do you mean the registry itself (the list of servers) or you cannot connect to any server? If you could describe more clearly (or copy/paste) what it says, that'd be helpful.
I think registry is down I get this message: (even after refreshing) Spoiler Disconnected from the registry: Connection refused You can try a different connection by changing ports.Connection is taking longer than expected... You can try a different connection.[/HIDE] Edit: I can still connect to PO server with advanced connection.
No I'm using v2.0.06, I tried reinstalling it didn't work. Proof for version: [General] updateId=2 version=2.0.07
You can still connect on the PO server with the advance connection server.pokemon-online.eu:5080 or server.pokemon-online.eu:8080 A possible reason you have this problem is like you pressed Ctrl+T (new tab) too many times and triggered the automatic protection of the registry, which bans you until the registry restarts.
So theres not a single way to fix this registry error. Also the advance connection to server.pokemon-online.eu:5080 or server.pokemon-online.eu:8080 didn't even work...
I've been having the same problem. The server list is blank, and none of the above solutions have worked, nor any I've tried mentioned on other forum posts. I also checked firewall, that's not the problem
The fact that you got connected to server then disconnected means you must be banned, or you do have a firewall problem incompatible with PO
I'm definitely not banned, I used to play PO about a year ago and decided to give another go and I'm using a completely different user name. I've actually tried using another computer, and without fail the other computer connects to PO just fine, so I don't think banning is the issue.
Jin, I know I'm on the PO servers but I it says try changing ports or just connect. I have use the Advanced Connection, and I don't like that.
Disconnected from the registry: Connection timed out You can try a different connection by changing ports. I tried changing it but it doesn't work. From 5080 to 8080 back to 5080...
Hello, I have the same problem. First I loaded the newest version of PO. I cannot connect to the PO servers with server.pokemon - online.eu:5080 or server.pokemon - online.eu:8080 BUT I can connect to the second server Pokémon Online 2 - 94.23.39.142:5080 If I try to connect to Pokémon México. - 37.59.80.217:5082 I get the following message: Error while connected to server -- Received error n°0: Connection refused Maybe this information can help to solve the problem?
Of course that works. I want to quit using Advanced Connection though. I wanna see the list of servers...
worked for me too, thanks! (for anyone else, just copy and paste "188.165.244.152" into the advanced connection box and you should be good)
For those with problems on the registry still: Add the Edit Settings plugin. Edit the settings. You should see a section called [ServerChoice]: Code (ini): [ServerChoice] PasswordProtectedWidth=53 PlayersInfoWidth=119 SavedServers=Pok\xe9mon Online - 188.165.244.152:5080, Pokemon Online 3 - 111.92.132.154:5080, RPG Server - 188.165.244.152:5081, 127.0.0.1, Supremacy RPG [ESP] - 181.163.155.153:5080, Pok\xe9mon Online 2 - 94.23.39.142:5080, localhost, Reborn Server - 71.195.107.248:5080, ZERZE - 188.165.244.153:5081, Pok\xe9\x42\x61ttleCenter - 174.37.166.140:5080 ServerIPWidth=575 ServerNameWidth=133 maximized=false pos=@Point(-1 25) size=@Size(1920 1031) DefaultServer=Pok\xe9mon Online - 188.165.244.152:5080 RegistryPort=8080 RegistryServer=pokemon-online-registry.dynalias.net Registry port can be either 8080 or 5090. Try replacing RegistryServer=pokemon-online-registry.dynalias.net by RegistryServer=5.39.78.33 Then restart PO. That means that if the registry moves again, you'll have a problem, but for now if the reason was that the host lookup failed, you'll be able to connect.
