I like what this theme is offering. It will be interesting to see how Augustus plays in those larger games, whether he will get intentionally killed (a legitimate tactic in this case) to bring about the Angry Mobbers, or whether he will try to live, especially given the risks of being killed during the day or voted off and losing that chance to convert the villagers. Very interesting theme. I definitely approve this.
I will admit that this is a theme that I have been wanting to play. However now that I look at it, Genghis look a little underpowered. Maybe give him a few extra votes to help him out if he makes it to late game? Aside from that, I think that this thread should be approved once again.
Ok, so I'm going to make a list of changes I might make once Samphire and I can agree since she won't be on often anymore [/insertsadface] -Nero and Caligula know who Augustus is -Add fourth member to each mafia -empower Genghis Khan -give the village somebody to vote for president (I've been wanting to make something like this in this theme. Don't ask what this means it's a surprise!) -add somebody with 9999 voteshield because the troll that would be (should be somebody suicidal, I'm open to suggestions when it comes to who this role will be) Additionally, this makes a great bump!
I reviewed this before and I'm going to say it again. This theme will grand if the prior coding will allow it to be. Utilizing the new mafia technology, I'm interested to see how well it can be utilized (specifically the Bonnie and Clyde and the Augustus to villagers.) I like how the theme is right now, so I would say save the changes for a balance (future patch) just in case such an event calls for it (village wins to much, wins too less, mafia never wins, genghis never wins etc;). Though I would like to see the President kind of thing because that would add another element to the theme. so, in short, Approved for me at least.
That's something I've been trying to figure out :x I think I might remove the crazy hax and give him an expose once every two days since that would trouble any side.
We would then have three inspectors though, meaning roles would be found out very quickly. Maybe we could do it as an 'on death' if Shakespeare dies, or give him the power to expose (or a poison) when lynched? Hmm. We can always talk more about this tomorrow. It's the weekend so I have time on my hands when you are awake.
Having two exposers at once is actually pretty interesting since there aren't any other themes with that. I don't think roles will be found out that quickly since, when you think about it, Elements has a total of 5 inspectors. Honestly though, this theme was lacking inspectors ><. I don't want to add more kills to this theme as it already has plenty of those. The exposes are there to wreak havoc! I think I'm going to save the Presidents for a future update once this theme is approved :x
Honestly, I'd think Hitler and Stalin could be under a dictator side. Hitler and Stalin share a kill, but Hitler could have a convert that turns someone into a Neo-Nazi version that wins with the dictator side (but keeps the side it was originally on) and Stalin could have a poison under /enforce (name) (Stalin was known for opposing theists and theism during his occupation of the USSR during the Cold War).
We avoided putting those two because we thought it was...distasteful. I've been trying to find ways to make this theme more intricate, to reflect some events that actually did happen. The proposition is definitely interesting but I don't think I'll be including that. I just want it approved for now, to see how people play this. Also I don't want to add anymore kills (maybe some one-time kills but eh, I'll see).

Al Capone and Napoleon do not get to know who the other has chosen to kill. My partner and I both chose to kill because we thought the other wasn't killing and it really messed up our strategy. I think that since they share a kill the choice of their kill should be broadcast to their team mate.
I didn't have broadcast when i was an angry mobber either. :( Edit: Plutarch's help doesnt say there is a restriction on the /write command and I think that it should.

I am adopting this. I believe that Samphire does not wish to continue to work on this, and Roild gave me the OK to post this. History was a great theme, but was not updated regularly, so I hope I can bring this back and keep it alive with regular updates. I plan to make new roles, actions, and maybe even some new sides, who knows? There are a few questions I have regarding this theme, however. Why exactly was this theme disabled? I realize that an inactive author most likely caused this, but are there any other reasons? (imbalance, broken roles, killfests, etc.) (I bolded it because this is the biggest question I have for this theme) What roles/teams would you guys like to see be added to the theme? I am open to all suggestions. What is your overall opinion on this theme, and do you like it or not? If you don't, please backup your statement. What do you think can be removed/added/changed to the theme to make to make it better? I am open to all suggestions. If you have any additional comments, feel free to let me know. It was removed because hardly anyone was playing. Same as the rest of the older themes like Transport, Skies of Arcadia (lol), etc. There weren't any major balance issues in this theme as I recall.
