Oh that is it! First useless mon i get is gonna be named after DD.

    EDIT:

    “Run Fat Boy” Run

    Chapter 1- Journey Begins

So my journey began on a sunny day (must have been a Groudon nearby). I decided to go for a stroll in the nearby long grass. Mercifully Professor Oak saved me “Hark, good flashbolt, the grass beareth dangers untold. Veritably one oughtn’t exuent one’s village without the aid of a pokemon. Here chooseth one of mine”. Sweeeet! I chose the Squirtle. Knowing that it would evolve into a majorly buff pokemon i named it ZIAH. Wasteman instantly challenged me to a battle with his newly acquired Bulbasaur. How rude! Don’t worry, i taught him some manners.

Better endowed with my ZIAH i ventured into the long grass for what would be the first of many times. Immediately i encountered a lvl 3 pidgey. Great some early exp for my lvl 6 ZIAH. Slowly, turn by turn, as each tackle missed, i grew increasingly concerned. Finally the pidgey buckled under the force of the tackles but not before reducing ZIAH to 2 hp. Not the fashion i intended to embark upon my journey.
Undeterred I continued on my as of yet unspecified quest. Getting stuff for Oak. Boring. I had just left his lab when i encountered another lvl 3 pidgey, not a problem for my now lvl 7 ZIAH. That is unless... ZOMG IT JUST GOT A CRIT.
    No jokes.
Well that journey was somewhat shorter than I had hoped.

    [IMG][/HIDE]

Well, stay chooned for attempt 2 when i can muster the will to do so.

EDIT2: also if anyone wants to be someone in my next run just tell me. Ill try to make sure you don't die.

    Update(s) 4/5:

It was boring as hell. Had to grind Eevee, Hitmonlee Growlithe and Snorlax. Both Koga/Erika were jokes. I had to be careful as hell while grinding though, or I'd probably Game Over for the third time.

Update 6 : Silph Co. and Erika.

So I beat Silph Co. and stuff and I beat my Koady (My Rival) in there easily. I got the Lapras from the man after beating him and it was a Hardy nature (Yay). I beat Giovanni easily. Got the Master Ball. Thinking of using it on Articuno but decided against that since I have a full team and Lapras.

After that I decided to train Lapras on Route 12 and the Route west of Fuschia. Honestly, it leveled up much faster then I remembered it did.
But I got it up to level 37 and decided that was enough since I'll be using it against Blaine.

After that I decided to take on Saffron Gym. Also, I'm just going to say this in case someone doesn't know yet, the quickest way to get to Sabrina is to take the warp pannels clockwise. Once I got to Sabrina I decided to use Scyther to sweep her with Agility + SD + Wing Attack combo and I beat her easily.

    Current team :
    Turtley the Blastoise, level 39.
    Rush the Mankey, level 40.
Fear the shiny Fearow, level 39.
    Ghoul the Haunter, level 40.
    Slashes the Scyther, level 39.
    Liplap the Lapras, level 37.

Current play time : 14 Hours 33 Mins.

    Attempt 2:

    “Chicken” Run

    Chapter 1- Journey Begins

So undeterred by my previous bad experience I attempted once more to become the very best, that no one ever was, to catch.... nvm.

Given the choice once more i opted for Bulbasaur this time for the early advantage in gyms. And i named him Django (how foolish of me to ever think i could be a pokemon master without his help...)
Without a moments thought i leapt straight into my first battle as a trainer, against my one true foe; Sobriety. Fear not, i conquered it.

As a heads up to irony, my first battle was against a lvl 3 rattata, my first attack was a critical hit =S
(i think there is something wrong with the crits mechanism on this ROM, seriously Django is lvl 13 now and in every battle he has got exactly one crit except the gym battle)
In other news i get ambushed by an old guy who thinks i don’t know how to battle.
Saw a Caterpie on route 2 but critted.

As i enter Veridian Forest, naturally the first thing i see would be a Kakuna. The bloody thing takes all 5 of my pokeballs to catch it when on red health too. I name it VuvuBzzzz for when it evolves into Beedrill (VuvezelaBzz was too long)

Well the gym wasn’t even a formality, everything was OHKOed by vine whip
(As a side note; As he is lvl 13 Django is now better than ZIAH ever was =P)

    1st Badge:
    Django lvl 13
    VuvuzelaBzzzzzz lvl 7

    Anyway...

    Update 9: EarthBadge

    K. After destroying Blaine Bill came and spoke to about some islands bs so I thought why not and went along. There was something about a meteorite...something about a lost girl...something about OH YEAH MY SNORLAX GOT CRITTED BY EXPLOSION. FUCK THIS GAME.
Oh, and my Omanyte was killed by Pursuit Fearow. No really.
Anyway, found the girl, fixed bills shit and left. Now to replace Omanyte and snorlax I spent a good 2 hours grinding Raticate (CBBWEAK) and Ponyta (BROKENPONY) to Lv. 45

So on the road back to Viridian city anddddddd, Giovanni got beat, thats right bishes, 8 badges. Time to take on that MOFO E4. Come at me.

Rockets, Ghosts, Bikers and the Poisonous Ninja Master!
Team Rocket. You'd think that an awesome name like that would go hand in hand with badass Pokemon. You'd think those badass costumes they were would be telling of their abilities.

No. Zubats, Koffing, Rattata, Raticate and Machop. Needless to say, I rather rapidly stormed through their hideout, and reached Giovanni. At least he was using cool Pokemon - Rhyhorn, Kangaskhan and something else that isn't as cool. However, he still lacks skill - Bruce slaughtered him. Still, I got the Silph Scope from him, so it wasn't all bad. I took the Silph Scope to Pokemon Tower with me, as it would allow me to see the ghosts that lurk there. Of course, I got all prepared to face some ghosts, AND GARY MOTHERFUCKING OAK IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. He looked kinda sad though, so I guess he does have a heart. A shame that he still has a massive weakness to Electric-types. Booker T sent him home.

Before climbing the tower, I visited Mr. Fuji's Pokemon rescue centre, where I heard this tragic tale of Team Rocket actually killing a Cubone's mother. THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE, A POKEMON ACTUALLY DIED. It turns out that the Marowak in question had decided not to pass on fully, and its sorrow caused all of the ghosts in the tower to turn violent and possess the mediums that wander the tower. It's a rather sad story if you ask me. Anyway, I managed to capture a Gastly on my way up, and I nicknamed it BOO. I come up with the most original nicknames. I confronted that restless Marowak's spirit and, somehow, beating the crap out of it managed to ease its soul. If that eases its soul, I want to know how it managed to die in the first place. I reached the summit, kicked the crap out of some MORE ROCKET GRUNTS, and saved Mr. Fuji. He then escorted us out of the tower, and gave me a Poke Flute. Yeaaaaaaaah.

I decided to put the Poke Flute to good use. On Routes 12 and 17, I managed to capture two Snorlax, KYLE and PAVAROTTI. Both were boxed, cos I'm fairly sure I'm close to a final lineup. I then decided to go flying down Cycling Road... at least, I would have done if I wasn't ambushed by a bunch of fat bikers and their stupid Poison-types. Ugh. Minimize and Smokescreen are two of my least favourite moves of all time, and Poison is a fucking annoying status. It was very tedious, but I managed to say enough fat jokes to hurt all of their feelings, and sneak through, killing a wild Fearow on the way.

Upon reaching Fuschia City, I decided to let Glub take the lead into Koga's Gym. Boy, am I glad I did? For a Poison-type Gym, there aren't half a lot of Psychic-type Pokemon in there. Luckily, the sheer power of Glub and Booker T managed to break through them. Once I reached Koga, the easy part began. Derren came out, used Psychic a few times, and I walked out with the Soulbadge. I then made the stupid mistake of trying to capture a Pokemon on Route 18, where I encountered my mortal enemy - Raticate. Just when I thought I had captured all of the rats in existence, another one comes up and tries to murder me. Ugh. That BASTARD now resides comfortably in the Shit Box.

I still have to traverse Route 12, which should be interested to see. I also need to get Surf and Strength, so I can reach Cinnabar Island. I guess I'll be doing that next... or do I have something else to do?

Team thus far: Chaz (Lv. 38 Charizard), Buzz (Lv. 35 Beedrill), Booker T (Lv. 35 Raichu), Bruce (Lv. 35 Hitmonlee), Derren (Lv. 37 Kadabra), Glub (Lv. 35 Vaporeon).
Box: I give up counting. Basically, everyone who I've said in CAPS that isn't in my party.
    Grave: None!

I fucking won. With level 55 Crobat and level 44 Jumpluff I entered the Elite 4. Swept through everyone with no trouble, until I got to Lance and he made me waste about 5 Paralyz Heal (got 99 so no sweat), and then was almost into the red health zone when Aerodactyl came out. I sacrificed poor Goldeen to Rock Slide, and stalled him out with Jumpluff's Mega Drain/Sleep Powder. Charizard luckily fell asleep in one shot as well, letting me safely bring in Crobat to finish him.

    Updates 6/7:

NO DEADS YET DAMN YOU ALL HATERS. In order to compensate the loss of my Light Ball Pikachu, on Safari Zone, the first Pokémon I found was a damn Tauros, which was easily caught, even though I had very sad experiences with Tauros in the past. Got the Golden Teeth, Surf and grinded for a while. After that, raped the entire Silph Co. in order to gain some experience, my rival and Giovanni. Both Sabrina and Blaine were a joke. Pokémon Mansion, as you all know, is annoying, but it didn't kill any of my Pokémon, as you can notice because of what I wrote on the start. I'm currently on One Island, and I plan to explore it for a while (and if I get Moltres, I can say bye to Arcanine).

    Kerny's Second Run

Began with Squirtle this time, and called him Topple, do all the parcel crap and sadly saw a pokemon on route 1, so wasn't able to catch one there. After getting my pokeballs, I went straight to Route 22, and got my beloved Nina a level 3 mankey. Then went north to Route 2, and caught Slimy a level 4 Caterpie. Slimy promptly evolved into a Matapod. I got all three pokemon to level 9, and then challenged my Rival Gary, and easily defeated him. Entered Viridian forest, and caught a Hakuna a Level 5 Kakuna, but boxed it, becuase it only knows harden. I evolved Slimy into a butterfree inside the forest. Every poison sting seemed to auto-poison, and I used up all my antidotes. I prepared to battle Brock, and defeated him without a hitch, Nina taking out both Geodude and Onix with Karate chop. Now im planning to move onwards towards Cerulean, and the Tomboyish-Mermaid Misty.

I moved along route 3, and battled all the trainers, and caught Nandos a level 6 Male Nidoran. Nandos was sadly critted by a wild spearow, and died. I moved into Mt Moon, VERY MUCH wanting a clefairy, but knowing that even if i use repels to get down the B2F, its still only a 6 percent chance, so i decided to use repels to get to B1F, and catch the 100% chance paras. And that I did, i got Parasite the level 7 Paras, and proceeded to train her up.

    [SECRET]
    Caught Pokemon:
    Pallet Town: Topple - Squirtle
    Route 2: Slimy - Caterpie
    Route 22: Nina - Mankey
Viridian Forest: Hakuna - Kakuna (Boxed)
Route 3: Nandos - Nidoran Male (Deceased Lvl. 7 - Wild Spearow, Peck Critical Hit)
    Mt. Moon: Parasite - Paras

    Kyle's run

Update 1: Game Start to Boulder Badge
Alright, after choosing the almighty Charmander which will later become BROKENZARD, i set out on my pogeyman quest. After beating my rival, Nick(who is too stupid to use his Bubble attack against BROKENZARD) I ran into a Mankey who was subsequently caught and named RAGE. After that, I bought a fair amount of potions and a few antidotes, and made my way through Viridian Forest. I found the elusive Pikachu there, and after gloating about it named it Blitz. Then, I went into the grass immediately after and killed the Weedle I ran into; I had no use for it. After that I walked right into Brock's gym, where Mankey went to town(almost getting killed by an onslaught of crits from the Onix who also out sped me) and netted me the badge.

    [IMG][/HIDE]

So far it's set to be a pretty smooth run, got really lucky with the Pikachu. Looking forward to what happens next.

    The team as of now:
    [IMG][/HIDE]

Oh yeah, no deaths as of yet :D[/hide]

Update 2: Route 3 to Vermillion City
Yeah, for the tl;dr version go down to the first hide tag and on.

After Mankey did his little rampage in Brock's gym, we went to the pokemon center to recuperate after being bombarded by crits from Onix, and then headed out to Mt. Moon. After getting some running shoes and learning how to run, Pikachu decided to take the lead, zapping everything in sight and gaining levels very quickly. Then, we decided to go into the grass and a Pidgey popped out! A nice change of pace from the Weedles and Rattatas that I had no use for, I decided to not let Blitz fry it and let Mankey smack it around until I could catch it. I quickly named it Taxi since that would be it's main job.

After that, we rested at a Pokemon Center right outside of Mount Moon. A weird old fish salesman was trying to get me to buy a Magikarp while in there. He said it would evolve into something monstrous, but I retorted that it still sucks in game and swiftly told him to fuck off.

In the cave, I quickly stumbled upon a Geodude; I happened to be leading with Charmeleon(who evolved during Pikachu's little stint in Route 3) and quickly drove it to half health with Metal Claw. However, I then roasted it to death, thinking it could survive an Ember. Oh well, Rhyhorn's better anyway. While spelunking around the cave I found some very nice Moon Stones and a Rare Candy which could be useful for leveling up something later. Towards the end I met up with a rowdy group called "Team Rocket" who just rudely charged at me with their pokemon. You'd think for some organization trying to steal my pokemon that some of their own would be competent. Towards the end I ran into a fellow nerd who was trying to horde fossils to himself; after beating his pokemon around, he said I could have whichever one I wanted.

Getting out of the cave, I looked at the hilly terrain and started going down to what looked like a city. I saw two guys mindlessly punching and kicking on top of a hill, arguing about whether punches or kicks were better, but decided to ignore them, as they were probably crazy anyway. I noticed on the last cliff I dropped down from that there was absolutely no way to get back; I hoped I didn't miss anything and quickly went into the city, ignoring the grassy area to my right.

In the city my rival was just getting off of Nugget Bridge. As usual, he didn't even give me time to speak, so I had to beat up his poor pokemon once again. He gave me this Fame Checker thing that I threw over the bridge after finding it was worthless and went on my way to the 5 trainers on the bridge. After Pikachu was done blazing through yet another trainer gauntlet, we were asked to join Team Rocket. I said yes, but apparently the guy was deaf and kept asking until he attacked me, so I had to quickly defeat him. I then decided joining Team Rocket was a stupid idea. Anyway, since I saw some hikers up ahead I decided to give Blitz a break and let BROKENZARD(jr.) take the lead instead. We easily blazed through most of the trainers, where RAGE stepped in once in a while to help out with the odd Onix and Blitz took on a Slowpoke.

Arriving at Bill's place, I quickly glanced around seeing no one was there except a small pokemon. When I got close, however, it said "'ello there chap. How are you?" Surprised, I stopped dead in my tracks and did a double take: the little guy explained he was Bill and something went wrong with his transfer device. After helping him get back to normal he thanked me by giving me a ticket to the SS Anne, which is a famous luxury cruise ship! Then I decided to go back to Cerulean, as I saw a gym before running into my asshat of a rival.

Before we could get to where I saw the gym, I noticed some a police officer standing outside of someone's house; she explained Team Rocket stole a TM from the resident of the house, so I went in and out the back to see if he was there, and there he stood. I quickly fried his pokemon with Blitz, and as a result he grew a level which also netted him Thunderbolt. and he gave me the TM he stole from that guy. I figured "Hey, the police are dumb enough not to check back here, so why should I have to give it back?" It could prove useful later.

So, after going into the Pokemon Center, I quickly healed my team and headed over to the gym, where the two trainers there were quickly taken care of by Blitz. Misty then accepted my challenge, and no sooner than that did Blitz fry both Staryu and Starmie. Misty then handed me the badge along with the TM for water pulse, wished me luck, and I went on my way to Vermillion City!

So yeah, as I predicted, the run is going really smoothly. Just touched down in Vermillion, and about to go through the SS Anne. Once you get the VS Seeker it's smooth sailing as well, since nothing you get takes terribly long to grind anymore. No deaths so far and hopefully I can keep a clean record till the game's completion.

    Team as of now:
    [IMG][/HIDE]
Pokemon boxed: I only have 4 pokemon.
    Pokemon dead: None yet.[/HIDE]

Update 3: The luxurious ship and Lt. Surge
Go to the first hide tag in this hide tag for the tl;dr version

So after beating Misty and getting directions from her to the next Gym leader, I headed out towards the underground passage. Along the way I saw this Day Care with a bunch of pokemon, but decided to pass it up since I would never use it. After getting out of there, I immediately saw tall grass and immediately checked for a new Pokemon: said pokemon is now Meow the Meowth, since I didn't feel like being creative. I then went along and routed all of the trainers there fairly easily with Blitz and BROKENZARD Jr., although a certain parafusion Butterfree gave me plenty of trouble. After that I headed to the Pokemon Center and got the VS Seeker, since people don't take rematches if you simply go up and ask them. So rude these days.

Anyway, I immediately saw a cave and went in, anxious to see if a new pokemon would pop up and a man already inside told me it was Diglett's cave. Knowing the gym leader of this town was an electric type one I immediately went in there and within 2 minutes had Dat Nose the Diglett. who I'll be renaming later when it's evolved. After that, I went to the route to the right of the city and came across an Ekans that I immediately killed with Dat Nose; I have no use for a shed skin variant. Then I let Dat Nose go to town on the surrounding trainers, and after buying some provisions at the Mart decided to go on the SS Anne.

After flashing my ticket and coming on board, on instinct I randomly burst into someone's room; the person was furious and immediately tried to get his Growlithe to attack me, which Dat Nose quickly disposed of. The next room I went into had a nice lady who let my pokemon and me take a rest, which I used while ransacking every other room in the ship. I eventually was ready to go talk to the captain, but then Nick(rival) came down from the captain's cabin.

After seeing he evolved his team(and hacked a Raticate into it) I went up to the cabin and there the captain was, puking his guts out. I went to rub his back and then he gave me the HM01 which is cut; exactly what I needed to get to the Gym. So, the lady let me rest one more time and I went straight for the gym battle.

So after letting Dat Nose destroy the three trainers in there, I took about 15 minutes trying to find those damn switches. You would think Surge would make fighting himself a little easier. Anyway, Dat Nose made very short work of his Voltorb and Pikachu, but Pikachu's Static paralyzed him before Raichu was on the field. Because of this, I let Blitz take on its evolution instead. Apparently, his Raichu didn't learn Slam so I was able to Slam my way to victory and the Thunder Badge was mine!

After leaving I saw a weird looking building that stood out down the street; I went in and an old pokemaniac was rambling on about his Rapidash. I stayed to hear him out, and I got the Bike Voucher for it! Now I don't have to grind up to the million dollars which is impossible to have anyway. With Badge and Voucher in hand, along with directions from the girl who gave me the VS Seeker, I'm off to Rock Tunnel and Celadon City!

    [IMG][/HIDE]

So yeah, got through Vermillion completely this update, SS Anne and all. Mankey is getting boxed either now or after Rock Tunnel; of all things I had to get Modest as the nature. Duggy's probably staying for the long haul, as is Blitz(until Zapdos unless I get fucked with the nature) and BROKENZARD has a permanent spot as well; Blaze>Pressure, as is the ability to run EQ. So far the game's going as smoothly as I predicted, and I don't really see any likeliness of rough spots or deaths. Here's my team right now:

    [IMG][/HIDE][/HIDE]

Update 4(latest and LONG): The pitch black tunnel and the city of luck, hideouts and ladies

So with the bike voucher I got from the pokemaniac, I went back to Cerulean to redeem my bike. After that I headed towards Route 9 and 10 to the Rock Tunnel, that lead to my next destination. I quickly dispatched of the trainers leading up to the entrance, found and killed a Voltorb in the grass and continued onward into the cave. The trainer in front of the entrance warned me that it was really dark in there, but I simply didn't think anything of it.

    To my great dismay.

I spent twenty five minutes trying to find the final level of the cave to get to Celadon City; I had to use 2 Escape Ropes because my pokemon ran out of PP and my levels inflated due to only mainly using 3 pokemon so far. BROKENZARD Jr. even got to level 34 and learned Flamethrower before I finally got out of there. As I stumbled out, I saw some more trainers so decided to give Blitz and Dat Nose some experience. Then I headed into Lavender Town to rest up.

Looking at the Pokemon Tower, I was touched by a feeling of sadness that I couldn't explain. I decided to go in since the townspeople were talking about something happening there. I asked the receptionist(or whatever title the person behind the counter was.) if I could ascend the tower, but she said that ghosts were going crazy up there, possessing people and crap. So I went up anyway and found none other than Nick, with kind of a sad look on his face. I wondered if he was here to mourn something, but not a second after the thought he perked up and challenged me to a battle. Probably to get his mind off of it.

Anyway, after that, I decided to go to Celadon for now, so I went to the pokemon center to heal up. route 8 would have been your general "Rout everything and move on," but something awesome happened: BROKENZARD Jr. hit level 36 and evolved into a fully fledged BROKENZARD! Oh, and I went into Celadon City.

There was a lot to do there; the Department Store has tons of things to buy for my pokemon, including a shiny Thunder Stone which Blitz happily used to evolve into a Raichu. The casino had a few things to buy with the coins you won, like TMs and even pokemon, and I chanced upon a Coin Case earlier. However, there was also a Team Rocket grunt guarding a poster in the most suspicious way. I went up to ask him, and he immediately sicced his pokemon on me. After Blitz fried them, he ran down a secret flight of stairs. Being the brave, extremely young hero I am, I knew I couldn't leave this to the adults and stormed my way down the stairs into the Rocket's Hideout.

Now you'd think that an organization with the money to build an underground hideout and run a casino that gives shit like Scyther and Porygon out as prizes would be a little more generous with the pokemon they give their grunts, even if they are just grunts. To that, the grunts' lineup goes "NOPE!" Rattata, Raticate and Zubat everywhere with the occasional Machop thrown in. At least they didn't have any pokemon that blew up. Anyway, I forced myself through rather quickly, and then met with the big cheese himself, Giovanni. He used an Onix which was pathetic, but he also had a Rhyhorn which was pretty cool despite dying in one hit and a Kanghaskan that threw Blitz and BROKENZARD through a loop with crits. After being defeated he swore he would be back, and then ran off like the coward he is. I also got the Silph Scope which lets me see ghosts; with that in hand I decided to go back to Lavender before battling the gym, to solve the commotion at the Pokemon Tower.

So after coming back and putting the scope to work, I quickly ascended the tower to see what was causing all of the possessions. It was none other than a dead Marowak's spirit, wanting revenge on who had killed it. After putting it to rest, I bolted up to the top of the stairs to find that Team Rocket was the cause of all this. Go figure. After beating the pokemon they had, Mr. Fuji thanked me and gave me the Poke Flute, which he said could wake sleeping pokemon. I then remembered a sleeping pokemon in Celadon, so I went back there. Using the flute, I awoke it and caught myself Fat Albert the Snorlax.

With the new pokemon in tow and those events behind me, I quickly barreled through the gym and got myself the Rainbow Badge and directions from Erika on where to go for the next badge. I geared up my bike, and got ready to depart to Cycling Road.[/HIDE]

Kudos if you read all of that. To tl;dr it: I went through the rock tunnel, did the game corner and pokemon tower events and beat Erika, the 4th gym leader. It's going extremely smoothly, and my team is shaping up to be a great one. I'm probably gonna go into Silph co. and avoid as many battles as possible just to get Lapras, then go to Cycling Road and complete Fuschia City, safari zone and all.

Meow evolved into Persian while going through Pokemon Tower with Bite, and Snorlax is almost caught up to BROKENZARD(who also evolved from being a Charmeleon) after soloing the gym. Blitz(pikachu) evolved into Raichu with the Thunder Stone. Here's my trainer card, boxed pokemon and team as of right now:

I love how we've had at least 5 BROKENZARDs for Charmander... Including mine. Will update when it isn't midnight.

I'm quitting, as my BROKENZARD just fell victim to a crit poison sludge after missing the 4th wing attack in a row. Before this it was stalled out of flamethrowers by minimize muk which survived the last one with 1% hp. I also had to use 5 hyper potions and 4 poison heals on that shit.

    First Run: Fire Red

Part 1The Beginning and 1st Gym:
I start the Nuzlocke challenge by choosing my first Pokemon, the starter, Weedasaur (Bulbasaur). I beat CRIT (Rival) and gain 69 EXP, my Weedasaur is now at level 6. I enter Route 1 and… some Pokemart poser gives me a potion… so I took it and threw it on the ground! Just kidding. And right after he gives me the bad luck charm, a wild level 3 Pidgey appears. Oh joy, it begins already. I killed a Rattata and gained another level; level 7, woo hoo. It also learned Leech Seed. I went to the Pokemart in Viridian City and talked to another poser who told me to go deliver a package that his lazy ass doesn’t feel like delivering. So now I have to go all the way back to Pallet Town. I go through Route 1 all the way down to Pallet Town and enter Oak’s lab. Oak gives me a Pokedex and to my surprise it’s empty. In the anime, it’s not empty. What a rip-off. Anyways, I head all the way back up to Viridian City and some senile freak gives me a ‘Teachy TV’ after showing me how you can catch a Weedle. I go and take a Potion from next to a tree. For further exploration, I go to Route 22, and to my despair I encounter a Rattata. Looks like I’m not going to have a Mankey, great. I go into Route 2, and guess what the first Pokemon is… a Rattata. I proceed into the Viridian Forest; home of the hardest Pokemons in the whole region, Metapods and Kakunas! I grab a Potion on my right. First Pokemon I encounter: Weedle. A little further up I have my first trainer battle. I demolish Bug Catcher Rick’s Weedle and Caterpie with my Leech Seed and Tackles. Weedasaur grows two levels and is now at level 9, now it knows Vine Whip! Another Bug Catcher, this time his name is Doug. I rape both his Weedles and his Kakuna and my Weedasaur reaches level 10. That Kakuna was so annoying, wasting my PP man… I come across an Antidote, cool. I beat Bug Catcher Anthony and his two Caterpies, which makes my Weedasaur reach level 11. I run into another bug catcher, his name was Charlie. He had two Metapods and a Caterpie, lame like always. It did make Weedasaur grow to level 12 thought. The last of the Bug Catchers in this forest, Sammy, wanted to battle me. His only Pokemon, a level 9 Weedle lost to my Weedasaur as expected and Weedasaur grew to level 13. Finally, I got out of the forest and into Route 2 which led into Pewter City. I went in the Pokecenter and healed up my mids (Bulbasaur) and off to the first gym I went. It didn't even take more than a couple of seconds to finish off the Camper who had a Geodude and a Sandshrew. My Weedasaur grows to level 14, after beating Brock, and you would think it would evolve afterwards. Nope, stays at level 15, just one more level needed.[/HIDE]

Part 2Mt. Moon, Zubats and more Zubats, oh and did I mention Zubats?
While trying to exit Pewter City through the east exit, I encounter Professor Oak’s AIDS. His AIDS gave me Running Shoes. That’s all. Anyways, I head out to Route 3 and encounter Lass Janice who has two Pidgeys which could be a threat to my Weedasaur therefore; I used Sleep Powder right away to take both of them out. Looking around, I realize this Route is filled with trainers. Bug Catcher Colton tells me he has seen me in the Viridian forest. Psh, doubt it. Not going back into that Metapod/Kakuna hell. After battling two Caterpies and a Weedle, finally my Weedasaur levels up to level 16 and evolves into a danker version (Ivysaur). Apparently this kid wants to be raped because he loves wearing short shorts. I take Youngster Ben’s Rattata and Ekans out easily. Intimidate screwed me over a little so I had to go and heal up… So, Lass Sally was being a sneaky bitch and sniped me out. Another sneaky move was how she Tail Whip’d twice but I realized her little scheme and Sleep Powdered her Nidoran(female). I easily took out her Rattata and in conclusion, my Weedasaur leveled up to level 17. Then, I beat Bug Catcher Greg who was just right under me. He had a Weedle, Kakuna, Caterpie, and a Metapod which I took out easily with a few Tackles. I jumped down the ledge to battle Youngster Calvin who has a level 14 Spearow which could have been very dangerous so I put it to sleep right away with Sleep Powder. Weedasaur reached level 18 and I saw an Oran Berry nearby just by the shading of the grass and therefore, picked it up. I jumped down the ledge and went around to get to Bug Catcher James who has what every other Bug Catcher has a Metapod and a Caterpie. After defeating him, I battled Lass Robin who had a Jigglypuff which was more unique than any other Lass so far. So, I go in the grass seeing if I can encounter a Jigglypuff or something but no, I have to encounter Pidgey again. Since there are no more trainers to battle I find my way up to the Pokecenter next to Mt. Moon and between the three rocks on the left of the Pokecenter, I find a Persim Berry. I go in the Pokecenter and heal up and realize the necessity of Repels and an Escape Rope. I go back to the Pewter mart and get me some of those and I head back and walk in the cave. First things first, I use a Repel so that my first encounter isn’t a stupid Zubat. I go left and find TM09 which contains Bullet Seed, looks like if I run out of PP on my attacking moves, I could use this. I run into Bug Catcher Kent and defeat him like the rest of the bug catchers. All he had was standard bug catcher shit, Kakuna and Weedle. I find Paralyz Heal when I go a little northwest. I also beat Lass Iris who has a Metronome Clefairy which is pretty cool I guess. I go down a ladder and wait until the Repel’s effect wears off and I encounter my first Pokemon in Mt. Moon: Paras. Before it’s caught, it uses Stun Spore and paralyzes my Weedasaur. Good thing I got one of those Paralyz Heals. I then climb down and find a Team Rocket grunt just standing there. I move down and avoid him but then realize I have to battle him. I would have felt bad for not battling him anyway. His Rattata gets a crit on the Quick Attack after Tail Whipping me but thank Arceus it didn’t do anything. I then find a Star Piece just sitting on a plateau so I take it. I head back up a series of stairs and go up on the surface to take an Escape Rope. Further down, I find a Rare Candy! Yes! Unfortunately, I see a trainer and have to battle him. It’s Bug Catcher Robby and I plow through his Metapod and Caterpies with my Tackles. Weedasaur reaches level 20. I then walk upwards and battle Lass Miriam who was running around she had a Bellsprout and an Oddish. I see Youngster Josh and take out both his Rattatas and Zubat. I battle Hiker Marcos who was a couple of steps ahead of Youngster Josh; he had an Onix and two Geodudes. Up ahead I found a Moon Stone. I went down the stairs and found a Revive which is useless. Walking east is my second Rocket Grunt battle. This grunt had a Rattata and Sandshrew. The next grunt had a Rattata and a Zubat. Just as I ran out of PP for Vine Whip, Weedasaur leveled up and now has Razor Leaf instead. I used two Potions because of Supersonic and Zubat criting me. Up next is the last battle against Super Nerd Miguel. He had a Grimer, Koffing, and Voltorb. I took the Dome Fossil and took the Antidote right before heading out of Mt. Moon.[/HIDE]

The Hostile Takeover, and the Master of Psychic Pokémon!
First stop was the Safari Zone. I paid $500 to get in. What a fucking ripoff, especially when I can only catch one Pokemon. That one Pokemon was HORNY, the Rhyhorn. I then tried to get as far as possible. However, I realised that I would not be able to reach the prize at the end, so I just collected crap off of the floor to sell for money. I then paid another $500, and reached the end in order to get HM03 Surf. I also found the Warden's missing Gold Teeth - and then realised just why it's so fucking expensive to get in. I traded them to the Warden for HM04 Strength. With those moves in hand, I decided to go on a bike ride down the east coast of Kanto.

Routes 12, 13, 14 and 15 are so beautiful at this time of year. The air is clean, the Pokemon are lively, the sea is bright blue, and the trainer's give good experience. During my coastal ride, I caught PUGM the Venonat (Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth, btw), and WHORE the Ditto. Everyone got some good experience, and they enjoyed themselves, which is the most important thing.

Upon reaching the eastern entrance to Fuschia City, I decided to take down Team Rocket once and for all - I headed to Silph Co.'s head office in Saffron City. The guard was sleeping (seriously, why the fuck is Team Rocket so feared?), allowing me to sneak in and start raising hell. I had no time for these bullshit teleporters. I just grabbed the Card Key and laid waste to whomever blocked my path. After clearing all 11 floors of Silph Co., I finally took some teleporters in order to reach the President's Room. However, some arrogant fucker with a massive weakness to Raichu was blocking my way. Gary, you seriously need to level up that Exeggcute, otherwise I'm just gonna OHKO with HP Fire again.

I reached the President's Room after beating yet another Rocket Grunt. I wonder who could be in here. OH LOOK, IT'S GIOVANNI! Yeah, totally shocked NOT. At least he fixed his weakness to Derren by adding Kangaskhan... not that it wasn't 2HKOed by Psychic. If Giovanni gave teams like his to his grunts, they might actually do well. The President thanked me for saving him, gave me a Master Ball, and allowed me to leave. That's not the best part. The best part is that I was given the Pokemon that completely breaks the game, Lapras. BOAT was added to the team, and he replaced Buzz to provide me with my (hopefully) final lineup. I'll give you the movesets at the end of this part.

With Team Rocket gone from Saffron City, I could finally challenge Sabrina's Gym. Glub's Bite and Surf alongside Booker T's Thunderbolt ripped through every single Gym trainer. Sabrina was a bit of a challenge. That being said, even with her being able to predict my every move, Glub bit through every single Pokemon she owns, except for Venomoth. Venomoth had the special treatment - the Psychic of Derren. With that, I was given the Marshbadge, and I would never have to visit Saffron City ever again. I'll probably pass through it a couple of times, but that's about it.

With that done, I decided it was time for some cheating. No, I don't mean cheating with my Nuzlocke run, I meant sequence breaking. Fuck the Seafoam Islands, I'm off to Pallet Town.
Oh, and I'll probably grind to get Boat up to the same level as the rest of the party.

Found out about this page right after I actually started this challenge, so I will update what I have so far:

    Kyrk's Update 1:
Chose Bulbasaur (Weed Seed) and beat my rival Pothead's Charmander with no problem.
Caught my first pokemon Ratata and named her 1 Percent.
Caught a Caterpie in the Viridian Forest and named him Low-Fat.
Raised each of them to level 8 (with Low-Fat evolving into Metapod) and had my rematch with Gary, beating him again with little trouble.
Got through the Viridian Forest and caught a Pidgey, naming him Maverick.
I trained my whole team to level 14, where Low-Fat evolves again into Butterfree (lol get it?)
Went into the first gym and beat each of the trainer's and Brock's pokemon in 1 hit with Weed Seed's Vine Whip, hitting level 16 after beating Brock and evolving into Ivysaur.
Caught a Spearow and named him Goose, but put him in my box since I already had Maverick.
Entered Mt. Moon and surprisingly found and caught not a Zubat, but a Geodude and named her Hardcore.
I trained my whole team (excluding Goose) to either 16 or 17 before attempting to go through Mt. Moon.
    To be continued...

    Team So Far:
Weed Seed (Ivysaur) - Level 17
    1 Percent (Ratata) - Level 16
    Low-Fat (Butterfree) - Level 16
    Maverick (Pidgey) - Level 16
    Hardcore (Geodude) - Level 16

    Pokemon In Box
    Goose (Spearow) - Level 6

    Deaths:
    None.

Update 3: The death of Ivysaur and Cutterbro (I need to update more)

After i saved last time, it was time to do the rocket game corner, which with butterfree with psychic it was absolutly no trouble at all, it swept those rockets left and right, at the end of the mission stood a weaf team rocket leader who got obliterated by Ivysaurs razor leaf. Lesson for you kids, dont run 3 pokemon weak to grass. After smashing him, i recovered the silph scope and headed east back to lavender town.

Once inside the ghost tower i again had to face rival faggot, his pathetic team was nothing compared to the dream team as i beat him with ease. The ghost tower was no problem either with butterfree and vaporeon doing all the work, after rescuing M.R Fuji i received the pokeflute and headed south to awake sleeping beauty, i ended up catching snorlax but i dont plan to use it. But it was this part of my adventure that bought an end to my favourite member of the party. I was battling a trainer with a voltorb, i was using ivysaur, he went for a sonicboom which did nothing, next he used screech, the next turn he was on red health so i stayed in thinking he would just sonicboom again. BUT NO he goes for selfdestruct, taking out himself and my precious Ivysaur who was 1 level away from evolving at the time of death.

After being depressed about Ivysaurs passing I eventually started traveling back towards fuschia city to face Koga, this whole time i was overleveling Vaporeon and at one point he was 12 levels higher than the second strongest pokemon in my party. I soon arrived in Fushia city and the first thing i did was enter the safari zone, i was hoping to find something rare like a scyther or tauros, but no, i found a Doduo (Moa) and since i needed a flying pokemon a caught it, to my surprise it had a jolly nature which i was pleased about. After finding the wardens gold teeth and getting HM 03 as a prize it was time to take on Koga. Butterfree and Vaporeon did all the work here, spamming psychic and surf. And with that I got another badge.

The next person on my hit list was Sabrina and her psychic gym. I won't go into detail but i leveled all other pokemon to level 38, except Vaporeon who is at level 45. Doduo learned drill peck and evolved into a dodrio in this time. Sabrina was a bit too easy for my liking, she didn't attack once :/ every move she had she would use future sight which kept failing after the first one was used, or she would calm mind, so bite vaporeon had no trouble taking she down. I didn't think there was much more to write about this gym.

The last thing to do on this very productive update was to set fire to Blaine and his gym. After leveling up my pokemon to around level 40 (and catching a pidgey for fly) i arrived at cinnibar island where i had to explore the mansion for the secret key, i already knew the route to take so with a few max repels I was out of there in a couple of minutes, however it was not as easy as that, inside the mansion i faced a trainer with an electrode who i knew was gonna go beem so a had no choice to sac cutterbro ;_:. Then it was time to face Blaine. I knew Vaporeon would be able to take on this gym with ease but i wanted to level up my other pokemon first, i beat all the trainers in the gym using dodrio and raticate. Then came blaine, i sent out vaporeon straight away for it to OHKO all his pokemon with surf. GG Blaine the volcanobadge is mine.

bloody power cuts lose progress. Goes back to last save.

    Chaptor 2: Unbelievable

So i continued on with my quest catching a Pidgey on the next route (i named him Offspring; as he is pretty fly) and a zubat in a cave (nicknamed The Referee, because we all know the referee is blind). Django and Offspring power through the cerulean cave on the way to cerulean. Reaching lvl 23 and lvl 20 respectively. So i face some lame nutty Professor, who i pound, who offers to split two fossils; so i was like "Dude, you gonna try and stop me taking both? You and what army? I just pwned your whole squad". So yeah i took both fossils. umadbrah?
Forging onto cerulean, i know the next gym is water. Just gonna destroy this and call it a night, Django got this. OHKO Misty's staryu. First turn, Razor Leaf takes about 60% whereas Swift is a 3HKO, plus im faster Starmie. Easy win. Unless... WTF RAZOR LEAF MISSES AND SWIFT CRITS. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

    im tres mad

With Django down Starmie Water Pulses the rest of my team all OHKOs, Offsrings Quick Attack does pitiful damage.

    [IMG][/HIDE]

I think im giving up on Nuzlocking...

    INDEX: Parts 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8

The Hotheaded Quiz Master and fall of Team Rocket!
With Saffron City done with, I decided to head to Cinnabar Island in order to challenge Blaine and get my seventh Gym badge. However, I wanted to level Boat up to the same level as the rest of my team, and I wanted to explore. Luckily, I could do both at once.

I flew to Pallet Town and headed south, catching TENTACRUEL the Tangela along the way. Shortly after, on Route 20, I caught a Tentacool. Naturally, I named it TANGELA. On Cinnabar Island itself, I revived my Helix Fossil to capture SMASH the Omanyte. I then went on a fishing expedition, catching things in places I could not catch before. On this journey, I caught KING the Seaking in Fuschia City, QUEEN the Horsea (who is now a Seadra) on Route 19 and FEAR the Poliwag in Viridian City. I visited the Power Plant, catching MORMON the Magnemite and killing Zapdos. I then decided to explore Seafoam Islands - and came to a stark realisation: I was retarded as a child. I finished that place in 5 minutes flat, making sure to not encounter anything along the way. As such, I reached Articuno and caught it with my Master Ball. ONE is to be permanently boxed though, cos only idiots use legendaries on Nuzlocke runs.

I then entered Cinnabar Mansion, encountering a Grimer which has a very upper class nickname: SHIT. Of course, I caught it. Then, the dreaded encounter with a Level 34 Weezing happened. It used Selfdestruct. It was a critical hit. My poor Lapras... barely hung on with 7 HP. Needless to say, I shat myself. Then there was multiple cases of Smog poisoning, critical hits with Sludge, FUCKING SMOKESCREEN, and the fucking maze itself. Ughhhhhhh. Thank fuck I bought 40 Full Heals before I entered. I got the key, and entered Blaine's Gym. The Gym Trainers are a lot tougher in Blaine's Gym than they are in Sabrina's imo - well, if you're not using a Water-type. At the time, I was levelling up Booker T. When I got to Blaine, I was levelling up Chaz. I decided to see if Chaz could do it on his own. It turns out that Fly hurts like a motherfucker. Good game Blaine, now put your wig back on and give me my Volcanobadge.

As I exited Blaine's Gym, I encountered Bill, who was waiting for a ferry to One Island to see his friend Celio. Turns out that Celio is just as much of a nerd as Bill is. I had no idea that was even possible. Anyway, Bill asked me to deliver a Meteorite to his friend on Two Island whilst he fixed up Celio's computer, allowing the Sevii Islands to connect to Kanto systems. When on Two Island, his friend asked me to find his daughter, who was last seen on Three Island. When I got to Three Island... no, I didn't have to go to Four Island. It was being overrun by those fucking bikers. Bikers use Poison-types. Derren eats Poison-types for lunch. NOM NOM THOSE BIKERS WERE TASTY. I then had to search a forest for his daughter. I found her, returned her to Two Island, gave her father the Meteorite, returned to One Island, met up with Bill and Celio and finally returned to Cinnabar. Crap journey was crap.

The final Gym I had to take on was Viridian City's Gym. However, it seemed like nobody knew who was the Gym Leader, not even the instruction manual. Well, anyone with half a brain identified the Leader just from the outline. Stupid fucks. Anyway, I reached the Leader and LO AND BEHOLD, IT WAS FUCKING GIOVANNI! I AM SO SURPRISED. Don't ask me why, but he decided to get rid of his Kangaskhan. What a fucking idiot. Because of that, Glub OHKOed everything with Surf. Therefore, I got the Earthbadge with no trouble whatsoever. Quite how a skinny bitch with ginger hair can be the most troublesome Gym Leader I've no idea.

Looks like my next (and most likely final) update will have me heading to the Elite Four. WE'RE ON THE ROAD TO VIRIDIAN CITY!

    Team thus far
Chaz (Lv. 45 Charizard) - Flamethrower / Wing Attack / Steel Wing / Fly

Well, I don't feel like continuing my story, unfortunately, but I JUST BEAT THE GAME GGGGG.

Everything during the league was smooth sailing until Kadabra died to physical Gengars Shadow Punch. Bullshit. After that was over, and after Agatha got like 15 crits + poisons with Sludge Bomb, the next trouble spot would prove to be my Rival. I had quite the epic plan: Defeat Pidgeotto with Stronfest to lure in Venusaur, go to Broscy, Swords Dance 3 times, use an X-Speed and X-Accuracy (yay steel wing), sweep the remainder of his team. Unfortunately, Rhydon hung on through its Focus Sash (it literally survived with a silver of its health...) and killed the poor thing with a Rock Tomb Crit. Cool.

After that, the battle was quite a mess: Alakazam OHKO'd Triplerage while it switched in, and I had to sacrifice Drugged Up and Firefucker because his Alakazam kept getting SDef downs against Stronfest. When he was the only Pokemon left, I had to pray that he would neither crit nor lower my special defense while I used 3 X-Specials and one X-Speed. It seems like the game was sorry for the bs Agatha pulled off, and Alakazam got neither and died to a +3 Surf. Oh my god, this is too good to be true.

The battle wasn't over yet, though: There still was his Gyarados, who proved to be a real pest during the Lance battle. Since I upgraded my Blastoise to be a Subpuncher before the league, I could sub in Gyarados' face. To my surprise, neither Dragon Rage nor Thrash killed my sub while I nearly 2hko'd with Ice Beam. After that was down, a winner would be decided: +3 Special Attack Torrent activated Blastoise behind a Substitute using Surf or my Rival's Arcanine ? Apparently, my Rival noticed how futile it would be to try and beat me, so he didn't even try to break my sub and got annihilated by Surf. Like a boss. GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

Beating the league you say? :P

So yeah, after IMMENSE derpy moments (I lost a fuckton of pokemon in this run), I finally could raise something at least decent, and, like the brave guy I am, I basically challenged the league with only 2 pokes (Lapras and BROKENZARD), the rest was...well...I guess, moral support? I had to fodder Horsea and Tangela vs the Rival because of bs Arcanine cheating. Anyway, on the whole E4 commentary:

    Lorelei

This bitch has a HUGE weakness to Tbolt Lapras (my Lapras' moveset: Surf, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt), and I abused that. It 3HKOs Dewgong (making Lorelei to waste a Full Restore or two on it), it almost OHKOs Cloyster (leaving it in the red span), 2HKOs Slowbro (unless it uses Amensia turn 1, but it spammed Yawn vs me, so it's ok), and 4HKOs Lapras (that couldn't touch my own one, because his best move was Body Slam, even though I almost lost my own Lapras to Confuse Ray bshax)...for Jynx, I sleep foddered my Lapras to Lovely Kiss, sent in BROKENZARD, and...the opposing Jynx used Attract, but my BROKENZARD appears to be female, so I roasted her pretty easily.

After this, I used an Awakening to make Lapras wake up, and 2 Superpotions on Lapras to restore it's health. Then went vs Bruno, obviously keeping Lapras as my trusted lead!

    Bruno

Onix got roflstomped by Surf, then Bruno sent in Htimonchan, and I, through sheer PRODICTION, I switched in Brokenzard that took a Sky Uppercut like a man (15%ish), then spammed Fly until the other Onix came on the field, I switched in Lapras, took the Rock Tomb (BS IT NEVER MISSES), taking 35%ish, and then OHKOing with Surf (Quick Claw saved me from the -1 speed consequential to Rock Tomb :3). Oh, and the Machamp? Well, turn 1 it did something stupid while I flew high up, a completely pointless move. Then I hit with Fly doing 60% - 65%, while it used Bulk Up. The following turn I fried it with Flamethrower.

Again, a few Super Potions to both Lapras and BROKENZARD, because I took waaay to much damage (unexpected)...and yeah, those 2 were my only 2 usable mons, the 3rd strongest member of my team was Aerodactyl at level 35 lulz.

    Agatha

Against Agatha the TRUE BS started. Turn 1 I Fly with BROKENZARD, while Gengar uses Double Team. It does it again and I miss (BSBSBSBS), then I Flamethrower, while it Toxics my poor BROKENZARD, I flamethrower again for the kill, but now my Zard needs to be healed. Golbat comes on the field - good, set up fodder - I use an Antidote on Zard, while Golbat used Confuse Ray. I hit myself while the Golbat uses Confuse Ray again (????????????), the following turn I'm still confused but I move, I hit with fthrower and with a CROT I destroy Batman. Then she sends in Arbok, which dies to 2 flamethrowers, while Arbok has time only to throw a Sludge Bomb, doing 30%ish, not enough to worry BROKENZARD. Then the 2nd Gengar comes, that OBVIOUSLY hits with Hypnosis (FUCKING BS IT NEVER MISSES), I swtich to Lapras, the Gengar uses Nightmare, wasting a turn, then I Surf twice while it Sludge Bombs twice (OBVIOUSLY JCPPOISONING AT THE 2ND ONE). Then Haunter comes on the field, I switch to Aerodactyl to sac it, but surprise! It curses, losing half of his HPs, to cast a Curse on my Aerodactyl, that, like a bro, used AncientPower and killed the worthless ghost (Y U NO MAKE IT EVOLVE)...that's the only part where the fillers did something aside from being death fodders.

Other 2 minutes to heal the party, and now it's Lance time, I switch back to Lapras lead, predicting a lot of bs to happen.

    Lance

He sends in Gyarados, I send in Lapras, good matchup, I have Tbolt...IT FAILS TO KILL, but Gyarados' Bite does like 15%, so it's not really a problem. Then I used Ice Beam to save some Tbolt PPs (I still had all of the 10 PPs of Ice Beam, while only 4 of Tbolt), but Lance used a Full Restore...not bad, it's still in Tbolt kill range. It Rain Dances (lol) and then dies to Tbolt. Rain up, he sends in Aerodactyl, that does around 40% - 45% with Ancient Power (lol Dingo how could it kill with a crit, you fucking suck), while I OHKO back with Surf in the Rain (thanks Gyara♥). Then the following 2 turns seen the slaughtering of the 2 Dragonairs (Lapras outspeeded and OHKOd both with Ice Beam), while the bad AI saved me vs the level 60 Dnite...it used Safeguard (???????????), while I killed it back with Ice Beam (PROFIT!)

You WOULD think it ends here, after having beaten the ELITE 4! NO OF FUCKING COURSE, THE RIVAL SHOWS UP AGAIN AS THE TRUE CHAMPION (for the record my rival is called Gtfo)...and for god's sake, his mons are so OP...anyway

    The rival (aka Gtfo)

Pidgeot vs Lapras: Lapras' Ice Beam fails to kill (by a long shot too, not even with SR damage....bs), while it uses Sand Attack for more BS value. the following turn I miss Tbolt (typical) while the Pidgeot uses Aerial Ace, doing lulzy damage (20%ish). The following turn I get hit again by AA, but I kill back with Tbolt, so it's ok. He sends Rhydon in (??????????), that is outspeeded and OHKOd by Surf (lolfail)...bad AI ftw. Then it sends in Exeggutor, I switch to BROKENZARD, that gets slept by Sleep Powder (100 accuracy, anyone?)...so I just use my last "Awakening", while the foe's Eggy uses...Egg Bomb (and misses it lol, YOU DESERVE IT FOR USING GAY MOVES), the following turn the same Eggy gets roasted by a Flamethrower. The next pokemon to come on the field is Blastoise, which is at level 63, my Charizard is at 64, but I couldn't really afford to risk it, so I switched to my level 58 Lapras. I take an Hydro Pump (not even that well...it did 25% - 30%), but well, it's a 4HKO if it alwyas hits (VERY LIKELY TO HAPPEN)...my Tbolt does as much as his Hydro Pump, but the rival wastes 1 turn to use Rain Dance (now that's a moment where I wished my Lapras had Water Absorb), I fire off another Tbolt, while his Hpump misses, and one last Tbolt to kill it! So now I still have my Lapras with 50%ish HPs + a BROKENZARD at almost full health vs his Arcanine (level 61) and Alakazam (level 57)...he opts for Alakazam, I click Surf (there's still Rain going on) and...Quick Claw activates, so my Lapras could attack first (didn't really matter since Kazam survived and could use Confusion, but well, better than nothing). The following turn the same Alakazam choses Future Sight while I kill it, but now my Lapras has only 60 HPs, so I decide to switch out after Arcanine comes in (bs "Set" battles)...anyway, Arcanine comes in, I switch to HORSEA (FUCK YES HORSEA), that dies to Espeed (level 19 ;_; )...R. I.P. Jecky...anyway, since I /need/ to heal Lapras (BROKENZARD can't really do much vs Arcanine, Fly should do a decent damage, but Lapras' Surf is far more reliable), so I send in Tangela, that gets critted by an ExtremeSpeed (R.I.P. ;_; ), while I use the 1st and only Max Potion of the league on Lapras, that gets sent in afterwards, and fires off an Hydro Pump (the last PP!), killing Arcanine.

    GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG RIVAL GTFO

    Big plays etc

EDIT: one last thing: when I entered, BROKENZARD was at level 62, Lapras at level 52, Aerodactyl at 35, Pidgeotto at 38, Horsea at 19, and Tangela at 23. Brokenzard finished the league at 66, while Lapras at 59.

    Update 4: #Winning

Honestly, i cbf explaining what happened at islands 1, 2 and 3 because im happy i just beat the elite 4, but before that I still had 1 more badge to get, the Earth badge, butterfree swept poor Giovanni leaving him crying as i left in search for victory road. I used a ton of repels and avoided as many trainers as i could as i just wanted to face the elite 4. Now the time had come, the ultimate test, battling the elite 4:

DREAM TEAM I used for the Elite 4:

    Butterfree (Raid) level 50
    Raticate (Buck) level 46
    Vaporeon (Homo) level 52
    Dodrio (Moa) level 48
    Primape (Tua v2) level 42
    Weezing (CH4) level 32

Lorelei was first up and I knew she used ice pokemon so i led with the newly caught Primape, i was faster despite being a lot of levels lower, I go for the cross chop and i get a crit and OHKO the dewgong. Next up was slowbro, i knew i would have a problem with this so i went to butterfree and got off a poisonpowder, i switched to vaporeon as it walled the slowbro who's attacking moves are surf and ice beam, i eventually wore it down with bite, along with help from the poison. Her jynx killed Primape with an ice beam crit so already i was down to 5 pokemon. Vaporeon then walled, and bet the remaining members of her team with the aid of a few hyper potions.

Bruno was the second member i needed to beat, before the battle started as i knew what pokemon he had, i thought butterfree would sweep him with giga drain and psychic. This was not the case as his second pokemon, hitmonchan used rock tomb, i was so lucky that it missed as i then went to (jolly) dodrio who finished him off with drill pecks, his last onix was killed by vaporeons surf.

Agatha was third and she posed a problem for me, her gengars and haunter were all killed by my vaporeons blackglasses boosted bite, BUT her arbok proved to be trouble as i had nothing to take a sludge bomb, i had to fodder weezing so i could heal vaporeon which took out the arbok, so after Agatha, my elite 4 party was down to 4.

Lance was up next and i always knew he would be a problem, he leads with his gyarados and i lead with dodrio, after the intimidate I knew i wasn't going to do any damage to him so i switched to butterfree as he misses a hyperbeam, at this point i thought i was as good as dead, so i stay in as his hyperbeam fails to kill me (BOLD NATURE FTW) i then use psyvhic and get the spdef drop, knowing he has to recharge i switch to vaporeon and kill him with blizzard as he hits me with a hyperbeam. Then he sent out aerodactyl, vaporeon was my only chance to kill this thing so i go to raticate as he sends it out. I use this turn to use a hyper potion on vaporeon as he kills raticate with hyper beam, so i was down to 3 pokemon left. Vaporeon then shows his face and kills aero with a surf. Lance's last pokemon were all killed by vaporeon using either blizzard or surf. Vaporeon came so close to dying when one of lances dragonite's outrages crit.

Right now i should have been crowned the champion, but NO. 1 person stood in my way, Rival Faggot. This battle tested all my cunning and wit, but in the end i emerged victorious. He lead with pidgeot as i lead with vaporeon, i fired off a blizzard which failed to kill, i then went for a surf to kill it but faggot used a full restore, seeing surf was a 2HKO i used it again. He then sent out exeggutor who was OHKO'd by dodrio's drill peck. he then called out the big guns in the form of his Charizard who was ready to rape, i needed to fodder something, Zard missed fire blast as dodrio used double edge, the next fireblast found its target as dodrio fainted, leaving it down to vaporeon and butterfree. After a lot of battling it came down to 2 pokemon. My Vaporeon and Faggots gyarados, i was about to lose as thrash was doing around 50% HP, i was forced to use hyper potions every turn until he hurt himself in confusion, it was a painful process but thankfully he didn't get a crit and i emerged victorious GGGGGGGGGGGGGG

    My Final Team

    Vaporeon (Homo) level 53

    Lest we forget

    Mankey (Tuamanator) level 14
    Ivysaur (RAWR) level 31
    Diglett (Cutterbro) level 20
    Primape (Tua v2) level 42
    Weezing (CH4) level 32
    Raticate (Buck) level 47
    Dodrio (Moa) level 50
    Butterfree (Raid) level 53

    Update 8 : GGGGGGGGGGGGGGG KOADY!!

    So, for the Elite Four.
I beat Lorlei using Subpunch Blastoise (thank you CBB for letting me steal it) and I had to take out Slowbro with Haunter Thunderbolt + Shadow Ball.
For Bruno I used Blastoise to take out the two Onix and used Fearow to take out the fighting types.
For Aghata I just set up to +6 Atk and Def with Primeape and sweeper.
For Lance I used Haunter to take out Gyarados and used Blastoise to take out the rest of his pokemon.

And last but not least, my rival, Koady.
I started with Fearow to take out his Pidgeot and so he would send out Rhydon after. So I switched to Blastoise when it came out taking small damage from a Rock Tomb and then KO'd with Surf. Then he sent out Venusar which was the next part of my plan. So I sent out Scyther as Venusar set up Sunny Day and them I set up +2 Speed and +6 Attack while all the Venusaur used was Growth. So yeah, I just proceeded to sweep the rest of his team with Scyther.

    Hall of Fame pokemon :
    Turtley the Blastoise, level 55.
    Rush the Primeape, level 54.
Fear the shiny Fearow, level 56.
    Ghoul the Haunter, level 54.
    Slashes the Scyther, level 58.
    Zoey the Rapidash, level 54.

    Play time : 24 Hours 52 Mins.

    Dead pokemon : NONE!!!! GGGGGGGGGGGGG

    Kerny's Second Run

    Previous Update
[SECRET]Began with Squirtle this time, and called him Topple, do all the parcel crap and sadly saw a pokemon on route 1, so wasn't able to catch one there.

[/SECRET]

Trained Parasite a bit more and tought it bullet seed to take out dem geodudes. Had a lucky escape even though Topple got poisoned by an Ekans, i was able to use an escape rope to get back to the beginning to survive. I got to the end of the cave, and managed to evolve Topple into a wartortle. Got to route 4 and caught Queenie a level 8 Spearow. I got to Cerulean and battled my rival Gary. Topple beat pidgeotto, Slimy Beat both Bulbasaur and Abra, and Nina defeater Rattaweaf. Queenie then diea to the hands of a slutty machop. Route 24 brought me Pepito the Abra, and Route 25 Lunch the caterpie, who was Boxed immediatley.

    [SECRET]
    Caught Pokemon:
    Pallet Town: Topple - Squirtle
    Route 2: Slimy - Caterpie
    Route 22: Nina - Mankey
Viridian Forest: Hakuna - Kakuna (Boxed)
Route 3: Nandos - Nidoran Male (Deceased Lvl. 7 - Wild Spearow, Peck Critical Hit)
    Mt. Moon: Parasite - Paras
Route 4: Queenie - Spearow (Deceased Lvl. 13 - Trainers Machop, Karate Chop)
    Route 24: Pepito - Abra

    Deaths:
    None.[/HIDE]

    Kyrk's Update 2:
Finally started going through the whole Mt. Moon
Defeat the nerdy defender of the fossils and yoinked the Helix Fossil
Team exits Mt. Moon, all at least level 18, where Maverick evolves into Pidgeotto
Caught Ekans before going into the next city, naming her Gnik
Went to the pokemon center to heal up before fighting my rival Pothead, leaving disturbed after figuring out from a conversation with a person inside that Bill will do ANYTHING for rare pokemon...
Fought Pothead on the bridge, which was pretty easy, with the exception of his Charmander taking out 1 Percent with an ember after a combination of a level 10 magnitude miss from Hardcore after taking a sand-attack from his previous pokemon and 1 Percent's fatal hyper fang miss (Good night, sweet prince...)
Went through Nugget Bridge and the other trainers on that route to save Bill from being trapped inside the body of a pokemon, being rewarded an SS Anne Ticket in the process
Went to the 2nd gym and easily beat Misty's two stars with Weed Seed's razor leaf spam.
Defeated the TM thief who decided the hang out in his victim's backyard the whole time while waiting for me to fight him, stealing his stolen Dig TM in the process
Went through 2 routes to get to Viridian City, catching a Meowth (Scat Cat) and an Oddish (Grasshole) on the way
Went to Underground cave to find and catch a Diglett, whom I named WhackAMole
Traded Goose the Spearow for a crappy Farfetch'd with an even worse nickname than my pokemon (didn't both remembering it though...)
Blabbed with the President of the Pokemon Fan Club until he finally succumbed to my patience (spamming the A button) and gave me a Bike Voucher
Ran back to Cerulean City to get a Bike and start training Scat Cat and WhackAMole to catch up with my team trying to all be at least level 22 before going to the SS Anne
    To be continued...

    Team So Far:
Weed Seed (Bulbasaur) - Level 24
    Hardcore (Geodude) - Level 22
    Maverick (Pidgeotto) - Level 22
    Low-Fat (Butterfree) - Level 21
Scat Cat (Meowth) - Level 15
    WhackAMole (Diglett) - Level 17

    In Box
    Ch'ding (Farfetch'd) - Level 6
    Gnik (Ekans) - Level 7

I finished a run on Fire Red where i kinda cheated since i found a shiny geodude and wasn't willing to give it up, so i just did a normal run.

I just started on Emerald, so far I have

    In party
    Mudkip (Drizzy) - Lv 15 - Starter
Shroomish (forgot to name) - Lv 9 - Forest
Tailow (forgot to name) - Lv 8 - Town after Forest
    Poochena - Lv 3 - First Route.

    Dead
    none

First 2-3 routes all had poochenana, but I think I've been lucky with my finds so far. Shroomish learns spore at 54 which really sucks. I really really want electrike, that is all I want and then the rest IDC.

    INDEX: Parts 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8

The Path to Victory, and the Meet and Greet with the Elite!
Naturally, I decided to take on the Elite Four. I started walking down to the Pokemon League... and completely forgot about having to face Gary here, right now. His surprise attack almost worked - both Boat and Chaz were at critical health when the battle finished. This made me worried, as he said he was going to challenge the Elite Four before I can. I rather rapidly dashed through the checkpoint gates, reached Victory Road - and almost shit myself. The first wild encounter I had there was a level 44 Machoke. My Lapras was level 45 at the time, and 46 was the highest level I had. Victory Road could wait, these fuckers were too weak.

Therefore, I decided to take a boat to One Island. I rode Boat up Kindle Road, reaching the foot of Mt. Ember. I slapped on a couple of Max Repels, and fought my way to the summit. Upon reaching the summit, I met Moltres. A rather tough battle followed - Moltres' Flamethrower hits HARD. Still, I managed to capture it because I'm the fucking don. I named it THREE, and permanently boxed it alongside One. Shame we could catch TWO, but idgaf really. I also saw a couple of Team Rocket grunts that seemed to be talking about some kind of... admin? Were they under the command of a new leader? I suddenly realised that I don't give a flying fuck, and flew to Three Island to do some grinding. I then got thrown off the island for groping one of the residents.

After that incident, I returned to Victory Road. GODDAMN those enemies are tough. They took more out of me than the trainers did. Anyway, I managed to struggle through. Some guy wanted to teach me Double-Edge. I thought about it, then didn't see a spot for it in my team. If I had lost a Pokemon, I might have put it on Horny. Upon reaching Indigo Plateau, I decided to spend a fuckload of money on Full Restores. I didn't know it at the time, but that was a very fucking smart move on my part. Didn't buy any Elixers though, which was a very dumb move on my part. Hey, no one is perfect. Well, except for Jessica Alba. DAMN SON.

    Team prior to entry
Chaz (Lv. 50 Charizard) - Flamethrower / Wing Attack / Steel Wing / Fly
Boat (Lv. 50 Lapras) - Surf / Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Psychic
Booker T (Lv. 50 Raichu) - Thunderbolt / Brick Break / Hidden Power [Fire] / Thunder Wave
Derren (Lv. 49 Alakazam) - Psychic / Recover / Psybeam / Calm Mind
Bruce (Lv. 49 Hitmonlee) - Brick Break / Rock Slide / Hi Jump Kick / Strength
Glub (Lv. 49 Vaporeon) - Surf / Bite / Ice Beam / Water Pulse

The guard woman at the entrance saw my 8 badges, mistook me for a staff member and allowed me to enter. My first encounter was with Lorelei. She's one of the best battlers in the world, and it showed. Boat managed to school Slowbro, Dewgong and Cloyster, but Jynx made me start wasting my Hyper Potions. I ended up having to risk Chaz's life to beat it - he had just 17 HP left when the final Blaze-boosted Flamethrower hit. To make things worse, Lapras was still to come. Between Surf and Ice Beam, it threatened every Pokemon of mine bar Boat... which was threatened by Body Slam and Confuse Ray. I was very fucking annoyed to say the least. I eventually managed to wear Lapras down, and defeat Lorelei.

Next up came Bruno, if you'd prefer. This was... stupidly easy. You have to fix that Psychic weakness man. One Calm Mind, and Derren slaughtered him. Agatha was a lot different. She wasn't actually a staff member for a start. She just had this fucking annoying Gengar. Derren slaughtered everything else, but the Level 58 Gengar would have been too much. However, Boat's Psychic managed to make quick work of it... well, once it had woken up from Hypnosis. Lance, the leader of the Elite Four was tougher still. The Dragonair and Gyarados were no match for Boat's power. Aerodactyl was a haxing cunt though - it managed to get a stat up from Ancientpower... only to be OHKOed by a critical hit Surf. Meh. Dragonite just hits so fucking hard. I had to run a Hyper Potion every other turn for Boat. However, Boat managed to fight through, and finally defeat the evil overlord of the Elite Four.

I started to celebrate my victory. However, my joy was to be short lived - Lance informed me that another had already conquered the Elite Four, and he was now awaiting my challenge...

The Rivalry Ends, and the Final Battle Begins!
I entered the large room that would play host to my final battle. As I approached the centre of the arena, the shadow slowly became more and more visible, until...
"I am the most powerful trainer in the world!"

Oh god, not this douchebag again.

I knew he'd start the battle with his Pidgeot, so I lead with Booker T. A swift 2HKO with Thunderbolt brought the score to 6-5. In came Rhydon. Boat had to take a powerful Earthquake, but it easily OHKOed with Surf. Exeggutor came in. I was wondering if I could get away with healing up and then smacking it with Ice Beam. WRONG. Giga Drain brought Boat's HP to critical levels. I switched to Chaz, who tanked 2 Egg Bombs, which allowed me to bring Boat and Chaz back to full health with Hyper Potions. Exeggutor responded with hitting for a critical hit with Egg Bomb, bringing Chaz to just 14 HP. BLAZING IT UP! Chaz OHKOed with Flamethrower thanks to Blaze.

In came Blastoise. Perfect. I switched to Boat to weaken him and to heal up Chaz. Gary used up 2 Full Restores. In the meantime, I switched into Glub in order to stall his Blastoise out. Gary did a stupid thing and used Rain Dance just before his Blastoise fainted, despite having 4 Full Restores used on it. This gave Glub 3 turns of Rain-boosted Surfs, which he used to his advantage - 2HKOing Alakazam, but not before Alakazam could use Future Sight. Gary, clearly getting desperate sent out his final Pokemon - Arcanine. I did a stupid thing in leaving Glub in at low health - Extremespeed brought Glub down to about 50 HP. Then, the Future Sight attack came. I was fully prepared to have to mourne the loss of Glub...

Lee must have decided that no one was to die today. He quickly moved Glub out of the way, meaning the attack missed! He then sent Glub back to his Poke Ball - Lee was to be the one to finish this story. Arcanine used Flamethrower, but it could do no harm to Lee, who had already leapt into the sky. He came crashing down, bringing his knee down into the skull of Arcanine. That Hi Jump Kick finished off Arcanine, and finished off Gary. Gary just stood there in disbelief - "How could this trainer, who had Pokemon that were nearly 20 levels weaker than mine, defeat me?"

I had done it. I had defeated all challengers, and I had risen to the peak of greatness. Furthermore, I had not allowed a single friend of mine to perish along my journey. I looked up to the heavens, and thanked Arceus for looking over me... and quickly made my way into the Hall of Fame.

    Final Run

    Running out out of Gags

"flashbolt is maf", my name. Finishing the trio by starting with Brokenzard. But to be a little more interesting then BROKENZARD i named it "Chameleonaire".
So chores done i go straight to Route 22 and pray for a Mankey to face the 1st gym. Yes! My luck is changing. Named it Blue Waffle, because its the most manky thing i could think of.
Picked up a lvl 2 pidgey on route 2, level 2!?! Box methink. Picked up a lvl 4 Weedle in forest. Named them "Offsring" (as before- cos hes pretty fly) and "Weener" respectively.
Chameleonaire solo'd the whole of Veridian without taking a single mark of damage (THEY SEE HIM ROLLING!) got metal claw, which might be my hope for Brock.

Also btw, ive been doing a no powerlevelling rule Nuzlocke (also no trades, just because thats how i would have done it on the cartridge if i had it with me). This means you can only go to each pokecenter once. Items are allowed. If it isnt working i can relax the rule. (i do this because powerlevelling is no fun, so im gonna have to be smart about what i do)

Sacrificed Offspring, Blue Waffle dies to a crit against Onix but i beat Brock.

Catch a Spearow named "Spearman's rank" to make up for the lost pidgey.
So i buy an escape rope and a repel. Use the repel to get through the first room into the one with all paras. Catch a paras (because i really need him against misty. name it "Anti-Misty") and escape rope to the entrance where i visit the pokecentre just there and do the cave again more thoroughly. Teaching paras bullet seed means he can actually level on some geodudes.

Anti-Misty destroys Misty (funnily enough) but i lose Weener and Spearman on the way, catch a Bellsprout (come on with Bell in the name how can it not have a Phallic name, its called Phallic) and a Diglett (DarkDiglet), never entered the grass in Cerulanean though. Gonna go back when Anti-Misty gets spore and when i get some better balls to catch an abra hopefully

    Current:
    Charmeleonaire, Anti-Misty, Phallic, DarkDiglet
    Dead:
Offspring (sacrifice to Brock's Onix), Blue Waffl (critted by Brock's Onix), Weener (sacrificed vs Misty), Spearman (died to poison on Nugget bridge)

Right this post was sort of formality update. Henceforth it is story once more

    Update #2

    Team:
In party (bolded means gona keep all the way)
    Marshstomp (Drizzy) - Lv 26 - Starter
Shroomish (forgot to name) - Lv 20 - Forest
Tailow (forgot to name) - Lv 20 - Town after Forest
Makuhita (forgot to name) - Lv 9 - First Cave
Minum (forgot to name) - lv 13 - Route 110

    Dead
Poochena - Lv 3 - First Route. - Had to fodder against Grovyle.

Was walking up a path and May challenged me, was total bs she had a Grovyle with Pursuit. Despite Marshstop being 5 levels higher, I couldn't keep it in. So level 13 Tailow had to beat it with Peck. Pursuit did 18/38 HP to me, so i kept using Potions. I could not switch out for obvious reasons. So I used about 4 potions until he got a bad roll finished it with Peck, Peck, Quick Attack. Survived with 2HP and no Crit, lucky me. Poochena had to be used as death fodder or I would of lost Marshstop (kept pressing A and left Marsh in by accident).

Was hoping for Electrike in route 110 but found a stupid ass Minum, going to death fodder it if i can later.
