So I picked the only decent started, Squirtle (Tortilla). I almost lost to my rival (Cunt), but beat him thanks to my Potion :>. Got a Mankey and I called it Kim, also got a Caterpie and called it Mothra. Got cocky and went to face my rival for the second time, had to sac Mothra to his Caterpie ( ;______; ). Raged alot in the forest because every single Poison Sting poisoned and got to waste 8/9 Antidotes. Caugh a Pidgey, called it Jenny and went to face the gym. Trying to level up my Jenny it got caugh by Onix's Bind then OHKOed by Rock Tomb, Tortilla took revenge OHKOing the bish with Water Gun.

Time to go to Mt. Moon and get a Paras because I'm cool.

    Current Team:

    Tortilla (lv 15)
    Kim (Lv 11)

I cbf to do a FR run. I'm feeling the gameboy colour. Either I'll do a red/yellow nuzlocke or a gold one sometime. Will post a story to go with it probably.

    Well, *SPOLIERS* something dies D:

    Update 2: CascadeBadge

So the trip to Mt. Moon was uneventful, catching a Spearow (BRAVE BIRD) along the way. Mt. Moon got me a Geodude (Albert) who was promptly boxed for being Timid. A shitload of Zubats and potions later I got out of Mt. Moon, and found another Spearow, who fell victim to a vicious crit. Time to fight Gary again. As it so happens, the most recent member of the team, BRAVE BIRD, was unfortunately killed by Gary's OP MOFO Pidgeotto. RIP. Apeshit swept the rest of his team.

Moving along Nugget bridge I encountered what I though was just another little Nidoran. Little did I know that pink ball of BS would proceed to poison Apeshit with Poison Point AND get a crit on Double Kick in the same turn. Needless to say Apeshit could not survive the torrent of bullshit and died also. The great sage Juggler was proved correct.

Despite these tragic losses I moved on, and found another Pidgey (Jikuroku) who has now evolved. He and Brobasau then cleaned up the rest of the trainers, and Brobasau solo'd Misty like a bro. Stay tuned for more hax.

    1 - ATLAS SHRUGGED

After deliberation, I name myself GOLLOCK. Nuzlocke had Nuzleaf, I will hopefully have a Golbat from Dark Cave. I also set it to be 4:25 in the morning as opposed to int he afternoon. No real reason. Venture over to Elm's snag a Chikorita. Name it ASIF, because fat chance of a mono grass type pokemon surviving in this run.

Obviously the game knew I wanted a challenge, because along the way to Mr. Pokemon's house, I miss Tackle *6* times. My luck that I chose the blindenest of all pokemon. Also worth mentioning, a level 4 Sentret almost killed me with Tail Whip and crit tackle, only saved by the Berry I was holding.

Whatever, I'm cool. Through all this I haven't ran from anything yet, so I've gotten to level 10 and learned Razor Leaf with ASIF. I beat the hell out of my rival and run back to Elm's to name that douchebag. Because this is a nuzlocke, I name him CRITHIT.

So I walk up to route 31, hoping for the best. Somehow I avoid everything in the grass, and make it to Dark Cave without wasting a single of the 20 Poke Balls I've splurged on. I enter the cave and, lo and behold...fucking Geodude ruins my chances of predicting a cool matching name. Oh well, now I can beat Falkner. I named that bastard ATLAS, because he's strong.

On the way out, I get to that route 31 pokemon. It's a Caterpie, which can be really cool. Except that Razor Leaf became a CRITICAL HIT, and destroyed that opportunity easily. Fuck. Also, that Bug Catcher got a Poison Sting insta-poison on my ASIF, so now it's 3 HP and poisoned and would've been game over if I hadn't saved the day with PZNCUREBERRY from back at Mr. Pokemon's (also I have 2 berries and an antidote, all obtained along the way).

Anyway, after this mistake, I grind ATLAS to level 11 - Rock Throw. Afterwards, I enter Bellsprout Tower to get that Rattata (SMEAGOL) I've always wanted. Then I get out because this place will slaughter ATLAS if I let it.

Time to take this to Falkner. I swagger up after OHKOing the Spearow and Pidgeys with bitchin Rock Throw. Mud Slap causes multiple misses, bringing me that rage, but ATLAS has enough defense to bulk it through without needing that one Potion I bought. I may end up teaching Geodude Mud Slap if I need to BS sometime.

    Team:
    ATLAS - lvl 11 Geodude
    ASIF - lvl 11 Chikorita
    SMEAGOL - lvl 5 Rattata

    [secret]2 - A STAR IS BORN

In the afterglow of my win I run to the Mart and spend my winnings on things like Awakening and Paralyz Heal. Preparin'. Also I make sure to give my Mint Berry (snaps out of confusion) to ATLAS, because I remember some annoying Zubats in the next cave.

First step into Route 32? BELLSPROOUUUT. Great, another grass type. Named it NASUADA, but it's going into box anyway. Being a gigantic fan of useless battles, I make sure to skip them all along the way to Union Cave (except for that Bird Catcher, because I will always take opportuinties to throw rocks).

Union Cave gives me the opportunity to catch another Geodude(DAGNY). Sadly, breeding is useless. MOVING ON (after seeing Onix and Sandshrew teasing my two rocks), I smash everything when I get Magnitude on ATLAS. Leaving a bloody trail of corpses behind, I exit Union Cave and proceed to own that Hiker with overleveled rock. Luckily, I get a Hoppip (JOHN GALT), probably one of my favourite pokemon to get. Now I'm off to grind in the forest, after catching Metapod (HANK) who will be backup. Also, I've boxed ASIF because really who needs that when I have Splash.

Along the way, Togepi(EDDIE) hatched because I run so much. I'm just going to ignore him until I need Metronome fun. And I accidentally evolved JOHN GALT, so now I have to get to level 36 before Mega Drain owns everything. Bah.

So after level 19 is hit I stop johning around and go smack around those Rockets in the Slowpoke Well. Sleep Powder and high base speed lets me beat almost everything, but not before Zubat wakes up and Supersonic makes me hit myself twice. I get through with no other trouble, and smack around Koffing like nothing.

At the Gym, I get poisoned by a Spinarak who wishes he had Insomnia (so Poison Sting as usual). JOHN GALT wrecks everything else and then lets ATLAS finish off Scyther with a single Rock Throw. Fuck yeah.

    TEAM:
    ATLAS - lvl 20 Geodude
JOHN GALT - lvl 21 Skiploom
    EDDIE - lvl 5 Togepi[/secret]

    Update 3: LightningBadge

After losing so many Pokemon previously, I was fearful for what was in store. But, I was in luck. The next route brought me an Oddish (YODA). I already have Ivysaur but YODA can learn Cut when the time comes. Moving on through the underground path, on the next route I find a Meowth! But of course, it gets lolcritted and dies ;-;. Nevermind, I arrive at Vermillion and go straight to Digletts Cave and catch...A Diglett! (Falcon). The route next to that gets me a Drowzee (Baku). With this new trio I took on SS Anne, which was going fantastically until Falcon got critted by Slam Pikachu, more rage ensues. Bye bye Falcon. Gary is no issue, Jikuroku destroys him. Heal the captain, get Cut etc and move on to Lt. Surge.

3 turns later and we have established that Lv. 30 Ivysaur > Lt. Surge. GG

Oh well i noticed this thread and had a sudden urge to also do a nuzlocke challenge.

Chapter One: Road to Pewter City

I started my adventure with Bulbasaur (Beelbosa) and the beggining of my journey was uneventful, I delivered Oak his parcel, almost lost to My Rival's (Garcin) Charmander, and did some levelling up. I caught a Pidgey (Shaniqua) on route 1, and a lovely Caterpie (N.A.S.A) in route 2, but sadly N.A.S.A fell the the hands of a speed tie, where the Pidgey was also able to crit it to death. I managed to battle and defeat Garcin with only Shaniqua and Beelbosa, and caught a Spearow on Route 22, but boxed it. As i continued on I caught another Caterpie (Joka) and it proceded to quickly evolve into a Metapod. Viridian forest was also uneventful after that, and I made it into Pewter City. Brock seemed easy to beat, Beelbosa OHKO'd both Geodude and Onix with mighty vine whip.

    Current Team:
    Beelbosa (Lvl 13 Bulbasaur)
    Shaniqua (Lvl 11 Pidgey)
    Joka (Lvl 9 Metapod)

    Current Deaths:
    N.A.S.A (Lvl 5 Caterpie)

So got to Mt. Moon, didn't manage to get a Paras but I got Hayden the Zubat. Evolved Tortilla, picked my Dome Fossil and left that shit. Faced Cunt, beat his Rattata and Pidgeotto easily but then Bulbasaur came in. Nothing I had could 3HKO Bulbasaur and it has Sleep Powder and Leech Seed .-., wasted at least 10 potions just to kill the damn thing. Then after raping shit on the Nugget Bridge I face a trainer with a Mankey and I left Hayden in, bad mistake. The Mankey used Fury Swipes, getting two crits and hitting 5 times, Hayden died ;____;.

After talking with Bill I went to face Misty, Kim raped Staryu and Tortilla raped Starmie, gg Misty. in my way to the 3rd Gym I caught a new Pidgey in Route 5, called it Andrea (Yes all my Pokemon but Squirtle are female .-. ).

Time to get a Nigglet to rape Lt. Surge.

    Current Team:

    Tortilla (Level 24)
    Kim (Level 21)
    Andrea (Level 15)

So, this is my 1st update.

After catching my (SHINY) Spearow I went to Mt. Moom and found a wild Zubat first but fainted it with a crit Peck from Spearow >.> So no pokemon for me from Mt. Moon. :( But I did choose the Dome Fossil. I thought Rush (Mankey) Mega Kick from the move tutor just outside Mt. Moon.

Once I got to Cerulean I healed and fought my rival while all my pokemon were level 17. This was clearly a big mistake since I forgot to buy Super Potions and my 3 pokemon only survived on red HP.

After I fought the trainers on the Nugget Bridge and tried to accept the invitation to join Team Rocket but the Grunt must have misheard me or something and I fought the rest of the trainers and talked to Bill and got the ticket for the S.S Anne. Also the first pokemon I found on the route near Cerulean (Route 24 I think) was an Oddish and I caught it but it had a Brave nature and I didn't really want to use it so I boxed it. The pokemon I found on the Route with Bill's house was a Kakuna but I decided to just KO it for EXP with Spearow instead of catch it.

I also just defeated Misty and I saved after healing.

I can't post pics or anything cause I'm playing on my GBA.

    Team so far :
    Turtley the Wartortle, level 21.
    Rush the Mankey, level 20.
Fear the shiny Spearow level 21. (Waiting to get to level 24 to learn Aerial Ace then I'll evolve it.)

    Chapter Two: Road to Cerulean

After leaving pewter city, my Joka managed to evolve into a butterfree, which preved to be very useful. I made it through all the trainers easily and caught a Jigglypuff (Ninny) and managed to train it up, as I entered Mt. Moon, I Caught a lovely Geodude (Denise) and plodded on through the cave, Losing Shaniqua to a 4-turn, 2 crit Doubleslap from a trainers Clefairy. I found a useful moonstone which I could use to evolve Ninny, and blased team rocket, and defeated the scientist for the Helix Fossil. I left Mt. Moon and entered Cerulean, and I was worried I would not be able to defeat Garcin, so I went into the Gym to level up on the Gym Trainers, bad idea, Ninny was defeated by a 5 turn hitting Icicle Spear from Shellder. I only just defeated Garcin, almost losing Joka also, but evolving Beelbosa. And now I enter the nugget bridge.

    Current team:
    Joka (Lvl. 16 Butterfree)
    Denise (Lvl. 16 Geodude)
    Beelbosa (Lvl. 16 Ivysaur)

    Current Deaths:
    N.A.S.A (Lvl. 5 Caterpie)
    Shaniqua (Lvl. 13 Pidgey)
    Ninny (Lvl. 16 Jigglypuff)

Well, I have done a Nuzlocke over every Gen (Except B/W and G/S/C/HG/SS), and have never won..either because I died, or raged into cheating >.>. So, I will do another one on SoulSilver.

    D-21's Adventure
(Not much of a "good" story teller, not like Oak .-. and I'm starting this with a broken middle finger >.>)
So, I wake up to my mother singing Happy Birthday and I quickly realize that I can get my first Pokemon today! I ignore her and run down the stairs trying to get out the door, but she is too quick for me and stops me and gives me my handy backpack and other useless junk. I yell "thanks" as I bolt out the door, heading towards the Prof. house, only to be STOPPED ONCE AGAIN by Lyra and her damn Marill. I completely ignore her and slowly back away, just smiling and nodding. She runs off and I can finally get to the Prof. I choose Totodile (cause I choose Cynd in HG, and I dislike Chiko). Me and my newly named Blue Fang go Cherrygrove City to where I'm creeped apon by an old man who wanted to give me some "shoes". I head out defeating some pokemon (Not counting yet due to no pokeballs), and I get to Mr.Pokemons house to which I receive an egg and get the Pokedex from the famous Prof.Oak! I quickly backtrack and run into a strange red headed boy who challenges me to a battle. I take care of his Chiko with my now level 8 Blue Fang. I must have pickpocketed him, because I end up with his trainer card and see that his name is Gogo (my friends NN). I drop off the egg with the Prof, as I'm accused of stealing a pokemon, which lyra clears up. I go home and rest.

    Team:
    Blue Fang:
    Lv.8-Lonely
    Moves:
    Scratch
    Leer
    Water Gun
    Rage

    Will update every so often

    EDIT: Crit'd a Pidgey >.> caught a Kakuna named Harvey...then Emulator froze...so I'll redo what I did..>.>

WELL, I switched Emulators (now using Desmume), so I must start over, but I will still start with Tototile, not catch anything on the first route, and get a Kakuna on the second

    Update 4: RainbowBadge

I left Surge crying like a girl and went to Digletts cave to go and get Flash. I decide to lead with Baku because it needs the EXP. Lalalala wondering along and BAM LV. 29 DUGTRIO. With Arena Trap ofc. So yeah, RIP Baku. after getting Flash I headed back up to Cerulean to collect my free bike. Cycling east I found a wild Ekans, which was put away for safekeeping. Just before Rock Tunnel I got really lucky and found a Voltorb (Baller) which meant I could use Flash in Rock Tunnel. Once inside, to my surprise I found a Mankey! This could replace Apeshit! Joy of joys. I catch it, Apeshit2. Time to level it up a bit.
    >First battle.
    >Crit by opposing Mankey.
GG hopes and dreams. I continue onwards nontheless, and seeing as I only had 2 Pokemon worth raising, Brobasau evolved into Venusaur and Jikuroku evolved into Pidgeot. Got to Lavender Town and Pidgeot pwned DOUCHE. Headed west and hey cool a Growlithe! (K9). So far he has still not been bs'd but I am not optimistic. Got to Celadon, decided to get Abra > Eevee (its now called '-'). Went to Celadon Gym, K9 got some nice EXP and Jikuroku did the rest. So thats the 4th badge, shweet.

Chapter 3: Off to Lavender Town

Battled sucessfully through the nugget bridge, and cought an Oddish (Vivian), and i remembered I hadn't gone inot the grass on the route before Cerulean yet, so I cought a Spearow (B1rDi3), but sadly it died to the hands of a hostile trainers Rattata. Defeated Misty easily with Vivian and Beelbosa and made my way towards Viridian, and Cought another Pidgey (QUILT) but it also died gainst a growlith on the SS. Anne. Cought ANOTHER spearow (Hattie) (im not lucky with these flying types) and it also died against a trainers tentacool (omfg). Defeated Lt. Surge quite easily with the combination of Beelbosa and Denise, who then evolved into a graveler. At the moment I am making my way towards lavender town.

    Current Team:
    Beelbosa (Lvl. 25 Ivysaur)
    Denise (Lvl. 25 Graveler)
    Joka (Lvl. 26 Butterfree)
    Vivian (Lvl. 20 Oddish)

    Current Deaths:
    N.A.S.A (Lvl. 5 Caterpie)
    Shaniqua (Lvl. 13 Pidgey)
    Ninny (Lvl. 16 Jigglypuff)
    B1rDi3: (Lvl. 11 Spearow)
    QUILT: (Lvl. 16 Pidgey)

    Ellens Run

Picked bulbasaur (RAWR) for the starter because im weak. beat rival faggot due to a nicely timed crit on his charmander, caught a relaxed ratatta (Buck) who is just a boss. Went to fight faggot a second time and found a modest Mankey (Tuamanator) so it hits like T-Dogg :/ beat faggot again with RAWR and Buck as Tua was still only lvl 3. Went through viridian forest and fuck sake, almost every poison sting poisoned me and i got Buck back to the pokemon center with 2 hp left. Caught a bold caterpie in viridian forset, grinded a bit then beat Brock with RAWR. Mankey came close to dying vs brock but was saved by a low kick crit <3

After bulba took a shit on brock, it was time for mount moon, i was hoping i would find a geodude but no, a damn zubat. Mount moon was straight foward as butterfree beat team rocket people with confusion. Once i was out of mount moon it was time to level griind for misty and rival faggot. I got all pokemon to level 16 and mankey to 14, And RAWR evolved :D i took on faggot and his charmander was a bitch, i had to kill him by poisoning with betterfree and healing with potions each turn so I didn't die. Charmander eventually got into blaze range so i had to sac a pokemon, since mankey was modest nature and hard to raise, it was good bye Tuamanator ;____:

After beating faggot i beat Misty with ease as ivysaur got a vine whip crit and OHKO'd starmie.

    THE DREAM TEAM

    Ivysaur (RAWR) lvl 18
    Raticate (Buck) lvl 20
    RAID (butterfree) lvl 18

    [IMG][/HIDE]

    DEAD Pokes

    Tuamanator (Mankey) lvl 14

FUKFF12's adventure (yeah I was pretty mad at that game)

So this first update will be kinda long since I didn't feel like writing till now. Whatever.

7 AM waking up in the morning,
gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs.
Gotta talk to mom, gotta talk to Oak
Seein' 3 Pokemon, the time is going
Tickin' on and on', my Rival's rushin',
    Gotta choose my starter now,
Gotta choose wisely, I check dem balls:

    Bulbasaur in the first one.
    Charmander in the third one.
    Gotta make my mind up
which ball can I taaaaaake ?

    It's SQUIRTLE SQUIRTLE
    GOTTA PICK THE MOFO SQUIRTLE
IDC FOR THE REST OF THE LYRICS I TOOK SQUIRTLE

So, just then my rival wants to be a prick by counterteaming me with a Bulbasaur. I don't care though because I got Squirtle, who is aptly nicknamed (Stronfest). Stronfest and that lame wannabe starter trade blows and STRONFEST obviously gets crit. Should have called my Rival Noodlez. Anyway, we still win so screw that gggg.

With that out of the way, I made my way up to Route 1, hoping not to run into Pokemon. Going along the way with my friend Stronfest, we run into a wild Rattata. Without Pokeballs, we're forced to mutiliate the poor thing with Tackle. Once in Viridian City, we went to the Pokemarket to get a Parcel for Oak. k. After delivering that bs and getting the Pokedex, we went back to Viridian and made our way to Route 22, where we find a wild Mankey. After it nearly died to a single Tackle, we have our next member of the team, Mad Dingo the Mankey.

...Or so I thought, because a look at his nature revealed it to be Sassy, which was obviously bs. After that our Rival is pestering us again, so Stronfest and I jack his Pidgey's and Bulbasaur's swag to win, after which we make our way towards Pewter City. On the way to the Viridian Forest we get assaulted by a wild Rattata on route 2. Catching it like a baws, I quickly noticed it's adamant natured. Unfortunately I, the idiot that I am, forgot to nickname it, so that's getting boxed as well. Oh well.

Viridian Forest was pretty boring apart from Stronfest killing the first Pokemon we meet, a wild Caterpie, by accident. Oh, he also learned Water Gun along the way and basically swept everything with torrent boosted Water Guns. It's that powerful.

    PEWTER CITY
Pewter, once again, was pretty eventless. Stronfest had no problem OHKO'ing everything in the gym and evolved into a Wartortle along the way. Brock was mad, we were happy, so we wen't onwards to Route 3. We avoided most of the trainers to leave them as easy pickings for whatever Pokemon we might pick up on this route/Mt. Moon. This route was going to give us another Mankey, this time with a Bold nature. Great, more Pokes to permabox (it'll get more exciting soon, don't worry).

Entering Mt. Moon, I was optimistic that I'd meet something cool like Clefairy or Geodude. But nope, it's a Zubat, who is caught and labeled "Ultra Rare". It has a quirky nature, which isn't half bad, so I decided to raise it since the Wartortle solo action was getting annoying. Training up on the aforementioned "easy pickings", Zubat gained levels slowly but securely. To get him some more experience points, I recklessly switched him into a gust at half health, which promptly scored a critical hit and wiped him out. Pokemon is such a nice game. Mt. Moon consisted of more Wartortle action, more torrent sweeping and more boredom, which meant Wartortle was level 25 at the end of this ordeal. Holy crap. Picked Dome Fossil coz I can. Nothing else noteworthy.

Route 4 finally had a glimmer of hope in it when I caught a Jolly Rattata called Rattitty. I trained him up to level 11 so he gained Super Fang, this time without risking him like my old friend Ultra Rare ;-;.
I also taught Stronfest Mega Punch AND Mega Kick along the way. He's that mega.

    CERULIAN CITY
Since Stronfest is so ridiculously overleveled, I figured I'd do Cerulean Gym first to get Rattitty some extra EXP, which in turn would help him survive Nugget Bridge. The trainers went down without a hassle, and Misty was no match for Stronfest; I beat her in 4 turns (Turn 1: Switch from Rattitty to Stronfest, Turn 2: Mega Kick the shit out of Staryu, Turn 3/4: Bite Starmie for a 2HKO). After that, we went North to Nugget Bridge, eager to find some more adventures on our epic journey thr- oh cool another dbag Rival battle. This Battle is noteworthy though, because Stronfest OHKO'd Bulbasaur with Mega Kick despite being at -2 Accuracy through Sand Attack. Water Starter too beastly. Nugget Bridge was pretty easy, even for Rattitty, even though he nearly died to a Double Kick Nidoran(m) at one point.

Route 24 got us the next member of our team, Abro the JOLLY ABRA GG. Since it only knew Teleport, I decided that I'd fortify its offense by using TM46: Thief which we found in Mount Moon on it. Now it's just training, training, training until: Oh ! Abro is evolving ! Congratulations, you now have a Kadabra called Abro. Well, bullshit. To make up for that disappointment, I let it destroy all the resident Route 24 and 25 trainers, catching another Abra on the latter one. This one was brave natured though, so I trashed that instantly. After helping Bill, we're off to Route 9 already, our only obstacle being a Trainer using a Drowzee. Kadabra 3HKO'd that shit with Thief, though. The Dig TM was promptly used on Rattitty.

Route 5 got us a Meowth (called '-'?), who won't do much apart from cutting down trees and picking stuff up, unfortunately. I also figured I'd get both Rattitty and Abro to level 20, resulting in the evolution of Rattitty. Now with 50% more overpoweredness.

Route 6 had a wild Pidgey in store for us, which unfortunately died to a critical hit Slash from '-'?.
The trainers were easy, too, so we were in Vermillion already. Easy Stuff. Really, nothing happened on this route. So boring.

    VERMILLION CITY
So first things first, I listened to guys boring story to get sexy item (Bike VOUCHER), got bike, went back here. gg game.
Seeing how I was going to get wrecked by Lt. Surge, this is where I formulated my Master Plan: With Wartortle at level 29 by now, I would buy a bunch of repels and a WHOLE BUNCH of Pokeballs (read: 5 and 30, respectively), get into Digletts cave, and use Repels so my first Pokemon would be a Dugtrio, which I'd catch. What happened instead: I bought the stuff, went in there, and ran into a wild Diglett because I forgot to shift Wartortle to position 1. Cool. I killed that thing out of anger. I didn't go through Diglett's cave yet because Stronfest told me to check out Route 11 first.

Instead of our wild Pokemon being something epic, we get a Spearow. Nice. At least we have something to fly later on now, so I called him HM2 Slave. The trainers were, once again, pretty easy, and Dig Raticate really showed off here. Why are these routes so boring ;-;.

The S.S. Anne was a whole new level of easy: Nothing on here, and I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, avoided a OHKO from Rattitty and Abro. This includes the rivals Pokemon. Ivysaur fell to a Hyper Fang to the balls. This place was probably even more uneventful than the routes. But damn, was it satisfying. With Cut in my hands (and taught to '-'?), I made my way to Lt. Surges gym. What Dangers lie there ? What other adventures do we have to master ? FIND OUT NEXT TIME IN: POKEMON FIRE RED NUZLOCKE BY CBBS

Update 2 : The S.S Anne and Vermillion City Gym.

So I did all the stuff like got the Bike and Old Rod. Beat all the trainers on the Route East of Vermillion (can't remember it's name). Caught an Ekans on the same Route. Caught a Diglet in Diglet's Tunnel. Caught a Pidgey in the Route north of Vermillion (again, can't remember it).

I easily beat all the trainers in the S.S. Anne and Fear (Spearow) evolved in the process. Easily beat my rival Koady thanks to Fear. Got HM Cut.

Beat LT. Surge easily thanks to Rush (Mankey) with an X Attack and using Dig.

Went through Diglet's Tunnel and got HM Flash. Went back to Pewter City and got the Old Amber from the Museum.

Now on my way to Rock Tunnel. :3

    Current team :
    Turtley the Wartortle, level 26.
    Rush the Mankey, level 26.
Fear the shiny Fearow, level 26.

    Chapter 4: Onwards to Celadon

Made it through Dark Cave, and on the way caught a Voltorb (Orblet) outside the cave and a Zubat (Yvonne) in the cave. Yvonne died sadly though on the way. Battled Garcin and got tolled by hypnosis Exeggcute and lost Beelbosa. Recovered from the loss, I kept going strong, I cought an Ekans (ekcyeans) west of Lavender and a Meowth (Kitteh) east of Celadon and boxed them both. On the way I ANNOYINGLY lost Denise, and was only left with Joka and Vivian who were at any kind of decent level. Went and got Eevee (N00b), and Caught a Doduo (Gemini) west of Celadon. now im off to try and level ub N00b and Gemini so they are at a decent level too.

    Current Team:
    Gemini: Lvl. 17 Doduo
    N00b: Lvl. 25 Eevee
    Joka: Lvl. 31 Butterfree
    Vivian: Lvl. 31 Gloom
    Orblet: Lvl. 17 Voltorb

Update 3 : Rock Tunnel, Lavendar Town, Celadon City and not enough Coins.

So, on the way to Rock Tunnel, Rush (Mankey) evolved into Primeape. Caught a Voltorb outside Rock Tunnel on Route 10. Caught a Zubat inside Rock Tunnel. In Rock Tunnel I taught Rush Rock Slide from the tutor.

In Lavendar I healed and went into Pokemon Tower (?) to take on my rival, Koady, whom I defeated with ease.

I then went straight to Celadon City but on the smallest Route ever, Route 7, I actually found a Growlithe and caught it. In Celadon I got the Coin Case and the Tea from an old lady and I went and gave it to the guards so I could go to Saffron later on. I then went to the Route 16 and got Fly, which I taught to Fear (Fearow), and I also caught a Doduo on that Route.

But back in Celadon City, I was thinking about getting an Eevee and evovling it into Jolteon but I decided not to since I've used it in FR before so instead I decided on Scyther. Unfortunatly, Scyther costs 5,500 coins from the Game Corner and 500 coins costs 10,000 poke dollars. Sadly I only had enough money for 3,500, so right now I'm going back to those trainers I skipped going to Celadon City hoping to get 20,000 poke dollars from them. lolz.

    Current team :
    Turtley the Wartortle, level 32.
    Rush the Primeape, level 31.
Fear the shiny Fearow, level 30.

    Melanie's Run: Round 2

    Prologue: The Rage

So after playing a couple of hours Fire Red and having a decent run, I decided to go to eat. Because I'm cool I forgot to save my game and when I returned I noticed my laptop ran out of battery and I lost all my progress.

After raging for a couple of minutes I decided to give the Nuzlocke challenge another shot, but this time with a faster emulator.

    Chapter 1: Squirtle da bez

Started my new run and went through all the bs of the beginning of the game

Talked with my mom and shit, went to the grass, Oak started bitching and I went to his lab. There I had to pick one of 3 Pokemon, I picked the only cool one: Squirtle. Called it Enrique cuz Enrique Iglesias.

    [IMG]: Enrique

After doing the bs with the Parcel and getting my Pokeballs I went to Route 3 expecting to get a Mankey like in my first run.... Got a level 3 Mild Rattata

    Called it Splinter cuz TMNT

    [IMG]: Splinter

After that I caught a Pidgey in Route 2 and a Caterpie in the Viridian Forest. Pidgey was called Jessica and Caterpie was called Erika, why? Because I like those names.

    [IMG]: Jessica
    [IMG]: Erika

Started training them until I got the 4th of them to level 10 or higher. Erika evolved into Metapod and then into Butterfree

Went to face my rival for the second time, long story short Enrique raped him (Gary:"I'm too cool to use my Bulbasaur's STAB"). After that it was time to beat my first Gym leader, Brock. Enrique OHKO both Onix and Geodude with Water Gun, and I got my first badge. *brofist*

Chapter 2: bs cave and bs Misty, again.

Time to go to Mt. Moon, maybe this time I'll get a Paras!. In my way to the bs cave Enrique evolved into Wartortle.

Found a Spearow in the grass and killed it, because fuck it I have my Jessica. Entered the cave hoping to get a Paras.... and a Zubat appeared, killed the worthless crap. Did all the crap I had to do in the cave and I got my Dome Fossil.

Arrived to Misty's city. Went to the Pokecenter and Pokemart getting ready to face my rival. My Splinter 2HKOed his Pidgeotto and Jessica killed his Bulbasaur, I don't even remember who killed his lolAbra. Beat all the trainers in the bridge and got to Route 13, there I caught Ganja the Oddish.

    [IMG]: Ganja

My team is finally taking form. Trained all my Pokemon to face Misty and her gay Starfishes. Jessica evolved into Pidgeotto and Splinter into Raticate.

Time to kill Misty. Ganja beat Staryu alone with the combination of Stun Spore and Absorb, even if it got bs haxed by Water Pulse. Then Ganja was against Starmie, I knew it had Confusion but I needed it para'd so I had to take the risk.... Ganja tanked the Confusion like a boss para'd the Starmie, allowing Enrique to beat it with Bite.

Got my 2nd badge and it is time to face Lt. Surge.

    Chapter 3: BS hax

So I beat Misty and I'm yet to lose a single Pokemon, things are looking good for me. In Route 6 I got a Meowth, called it Classy, I never liked Meowth so it went directly to the box.

    [IMG]: Classy (boxed)

So I had to go the SS Anne (I think that is the name .-.), but first I went to get a Digglet, because the thing is cool as fuck and it would be my best option against Lt. Surge. Went to Digglet's cave, found a Digglet (Surprise!(!)).

    >Butterfree uses Confusion
    >Butterfree uses Sleep Powder
    >Melanie throws a Pokeball
    >Caught Diglett

Named it Niglett, because that is the only good name you can give to Diglett

    [IMG]:Niglett

So with my team of 6 Pokemon I went to conquer the SS Anne(Wintour). Everything was normal, beating all trainers rather easily. Until I met a guy with a Pikachu, I was like "Ok, Niglett got dis". Sent it in and Pikachu used Thunderwave, needless to say it didn't do shit. I used Magnitude, got Magnitude 4 and Pikachu survived, but it was ok because it used Double Team. Use Magnitude again, this time got Magnitude 9, gg Pikachu.... but wait, I missed the Magnitude and then my Niglett got critted by Slam, R.I.P my little nig.

    [IMG](dead)

After losing my first member and my best and only Pokemon capable of beating Lt. Surge shit stopped looking so good for me, the situation wasn't really bad but it could have been better. Then I went to defeat the last trainer before facing my rival again. Standard in-game match, the guy had a Rattata and I had my Ganja, I was thinking "Ok I'm going to put it to sleep and then kill it with Enrique". He used Tail Whip and I missed my Sleep Powder, I knew he wasn't going to kill my Ganja unless he got a crit with Hyper Fang so I decided to stay in to use Sleep Powder again... Hyper Fang crit, gggggggggggggggggggg. Lost my 2nd member due to bs hax

    [IMG] (dead)

Well that sucked. Killed my Rival, got Cut and went to kill Lt. Surge. Taught Splinter Dig and OHKOed every single Pokemon in the Gym, easy shit.

Got my 3rd badge. Erika, I'm coming for you bish.

    more coming soon

Chapter 5: The Nature Loving Princess, Rocket Hideout, and Pokemon Ghosts.

Managed to get N00b and Gemini to a relativeley high levels, and I evolved Gemini into a Flareon. Battled Erika, and won quite easily with the Gemini // Joka combination. Then went straight for the rocket hideout, battled my way through, and defeated Giovanni simply. After obtaining the Silph Scope, I went straight for Lavender town, and caught a Gastly (Fraud) and boxed it, and battled my way through defeating all the Channelers, Marowak and the Rocket Grunts. After getting the PokeFlute, i defeated Snorlax, and obtained the Super Rod, and went fishing, and caught a writhing Horsea (S.J.P).

Update 4 : Team Rocket Shinanigins, Pokemon Tower and lots of Bikers.

So, while trying to get the extra 40,000 poke dollars for Scyther, I decided to take on Team Rocket in the Game Corner and I beat them easily and I remembered to get the hidden nest and net ball in Giovanni's room and got the Silph Scope (??).

In Pokemon Tower I caught a Gastly which I nicknamed Ghoul and I taught it Psychic (oh yeah I got the TM) and I swept the whole Tower with it. It ended up evolving just before taking on Team Rocket in the Tower.

And last off, I went down cycling road and fought all the bikers with Ghoul (Haunter) and Turtley (Wartortle) who evolved into Blastoise. I also went into Fushcia so I could Fly back there when I needed to.

So after all that I finally had enough money to buy Scyther (with only 27 poke dollars to spare). and I nicknamed it Slashes.

Right now I'm taking on the Celadon City Gym's trainers with Scyther.

    Current team :
    Turtley the Blastoise, level 36.
    Rush the Primeape, level 34.
Fear the shiny Fearow, level 34.
    Ghoul the Haunter, level 35.
    Slashes the Scyther, level 28.

    Current play time : 10HRs 01MINs.

    Update: So, after realizing that I can't get a Kakuna at night, I got a Rat...Named Haily...that died in it's first battle against an opposing Rat..;-;

    Death Certificate
    [IMG]

Route 31 held another Rat, this time male, I caught it and named it Hal...maybe it will do better.

Route 32- I poked my head out and just took a few steps, and I got attacked by an Ekans. Hal came out, got poisoned and wraped by it, but I caught Ekans, named it Kane, and Hal survived the poisoning...onto Sprout tower!

So after both of my pokemon were BURIED ALIVE WITH EXTREME VIOLENCE in my first run due onix taking fuck all from metal claw and me not getting a mankey, here is

    FUCK ME's Adventure

After the obligatory naming etc, I went to the lab and got my starter Charmander aka TORCHED, I was forcefully held there with a heartwarming "Wait, FUCK ME!", after which I had to battle my useless rival who is bad enough to use tail whip 3 times while dying, giving me an easy first win. After this I went to that next city, only to be told go back to deliver a package and then come there again, TORCHing everythign on the way. I then went to the route left from the city, where I found a rattata (and not a mankey which would've been infinitely more useful) which I accidentially named S. I then destroyed my rival again, who is bad enough to lose to a charmander on level 8 with a pidgey and a squirtle both on level 9, and went on to the forest, where the first pokemon I found was a caterpie (just like last time), which I TORCHED out of frustration (just like last time, where I had just killed a pidgey I wanted to catch with a crit). Continuing to TORCH everything that moves in the forest to grind my charmander up to level 16 to evolve in order to have a chance against that stupidly broken onix. When I was finished I went on the first gym city. I don't know the names of the cities so I'll just call them that. The gym was pretty easy because this time he didn't feel like using rock tomb, so I sorta just walked through.

I'm currently in the second gym city but I'll write that up later because I can't be bothered right now

    Team:
    005.gif - TORCHED
    019.gif - S
    046.gif - SHROOM

I am not a creative person.

Update 5: Team Rocket's unholy amounts of bs

So I got bored of collecting badges, and decided to take some time out to get rid of these Rocket noobs hanging around everywhere. The Celadon Game corner was the next destination, and hey look at that cool pos...ZOMG A SWITCH PRESS IT. >Secret Hideout. Cool. Using my stupidly overleveled Jikuroku and Brobasau i cleaned out the hideout, raising K9 a bit in the process. Cool, got Silph Scope etc, mainly because Giovanni was weak as hell. Got the Tea and gave it to that self-satisfied douche of a guard and went to Saffron. Oh hey Dojo, you like overlevelled Pidgeots? I thought not. Anyway, solo'd the Dojo and got myself a Hitmonlee (Bruce). So now it was time to go back to that bs tower, and save Fuji's ass. (I brought Repel because I hate that fag Gastly). Beat up some more Rockets upstairs and got the PokeFlute...SNORLAX TIME BISHES '-' Went and caught the Snorlax from (Pnerd) outside Celadon. With that done and my stupidly OP team of Pnerd/Bruce/Jikuroku/K9/Brobasau I headed into Silph. MY GOD I HATE THIS PLACE. Hopped on a few random teleporters, got lucky and ended up near the Card Key, then went straight to fight DOUCHE. He got bossed as usual, Jikuroku doing everything apart from Charizard, who was no problem for Pnerd. Also picked up a free Lapras (PhatLip), GG Elite 4.

Headed up to beat Giovanni, who was pretty damn easy apart from his gay Nidoqueen. I mean, how did he get it to Lv. 41 between our last battle ;-; Since Nidoqueen is BS Pnerd died to a fatal Double Kick, but its fine I still have the other Snorlax to catch '-'

So yeah, team is bossing it but is really overlevelled lol.

The Pokémaniac's Trouble, and the Ticket to Luxury!
All paths out of Cerulean City and to other towns were blocked. I couldn't go west - I had come from that direction, and I couldn't climb over the ledge. I couldn't go east - apparently, Team Rocket had stolen something from a resident, and Officer Jenny had cordened off the area. I couldn't go south - I had the ability to use Cut, but without the Cut HM, I couldn't get past the skinny tree blocking the way. So I had to head north, and ask for directions.

As soon as my foot got onto Nugget Bridge, Gary decided it was time to battle. It's a shame that I have Booker T, as it alone made sure that Gary was to go home shocked (pun intended). He mumbled about a Pokemaniac living nearby, and then ran off. Shortly after, I saw the infamous Nugget Bridge trainers. 5 trainers, 5 battles, no rest, no healing. I told Chaz to take the lead. Needless to say, that was that done with. I received a shiny golden Nugget, and then was asked if I wanted to join Team Rocket. I've always wanted to join Team Rocket just to shout at them to use better Pokemon - Zubat and Rattata are NOT good Pokemon! Apparently, I took too long to think about it, as the Rocket attacked me. Stupid idiot was quickly burned.

After facing off against yet another trainer, I quickly spotted the rare and elusive Abra sleeping in the grass. Knowing that I had but one chance to capture it, I threw a Poke Ball at it. It could not warp away in time, and DERREN was made to be the newest member of my team! I taught Derren, named after Derren Brown, the TM for Thief, as he was unable to do anything but Teleport away. I jumped onto Route 25, and encountered a Caterpie. Derren decided that he was to join our team, so I captured it and named it FREEDOM. After helping Caterpie evolve into Metapod and then a Butterfree, I let him relax in my main box - the first Pokemon to be boxed, yet not be sent to the Shit Box.

As I faced the challengers on Route 25, they kept mentioning a Pokemaniac who lived at the end of this route. This was the same Pokemaniac that Gary had mentioned as he left. Naturally, I had to check it out. On the way, Derren evolved into Kadabra and learned Confusion! Now, he will cause all sorts of trouble. Anyway, I entered the house and... there was nothing but a massive machine, a computer and a Clefairy there. I wanted to capture it, but I was bound by the laws of the universe, and I could not catch another Pokemon on this Route. Damn. So I decided I'd steal the computer. Just as I reached for it, the Clefairy spoke to me - that Pokemon was Bill, the Pokemaniac everyone was talking about! He started talking about some sort of science crap I didn't understand, something to do with gene splicing, and he had morphed into a Clefairy. To change back, he'd need someone else to operate the machine, which was located at his computer. So looks like I won't be stealing it after all.

After running the program, Bill stepped out of the teleporter looking like a person. He told me that he made the Box system (OMG HE IS SOMEONE I THINK HE'S AWESOME), and that he is very thankful for what I had done. He gave me a ticket to the luxury cruise liner S.S. Anne! One of my dreams was to sail on that boat! However, I still had no idea how to get to Vermilion City, which is due south of Saffron City. Stupid guards. Bill said that there was an underground passage leading from just outside of Cerulean City to just outside of Vermilion City. Looks like I'll have to go back and just hope that something has happened...

My luck has been very good so far in this adventure, but this was the best bit of luck so far. As soon as I returned to Cerulean City, Officer Jenny took down the crime scene tape. I just had to check it out! Was it a murder? Was there a rape? Was there a Pokemon skewered on top of a tree?

No, it was a robbery. After looking at the place, it looked like a Rhydon had marched through it. There were massive footsteps everywhere, everything was ransacked... it was a mess. However, after speaking to the homeowner, it turns out the only item that was stolen was a TM28, Dig. I decided to sneak out of the back door so that I could finally leave Cerulean City behind... and the Rocket was just stood there in the back garden! Goddamn, the police here have to be the worst I've ever seen. After asking THIS Rocket if I could join Team Rocket, he decided to try and fight me. I've had enough of Team Rocket. If you can't join them, beat them. I stole the TM28 from him and ran... straight into a Meowth. I threw a Poke Ball at it, caught it, and nicknamed it WONGA. I healed up, and then dashed for the underground passage. Vermilion City, here I come!

Team thus far: Chaz (Lv. 21 Charmeleon), Buzz (Lv. 22 Beedrill), Booker T (Lv. 22 Pikachu), Rage (Lv. 19 Mankey), Derren (Lv. 17 Kadabra), Wonga (Lv. 12 Meowth).
Box: Freedom (Lv. 10 Butterfree), TopPercent (Lv. 3 Rattata), Mickey (Lv. 5 Rattata), Mr Jingles (Lv. 10 Rattata), Batty (Lv. 8 Zubat).
    Grave: None!

The Seaman, the Cave, and the Lightning American! - Might not do Diglett's Cave in this part...
I exited the underground passage on Route 7. I decided that Derren needed some training, so he floated alongside me. What an excellent decision that was. He learned Psybeam just before entering Vermilion City, and all of the opposing enemies were destroyed. What a beast. Upon arriving in Vermilion City, I headed straight for the Pokemon Fan Club, hoping for the chance to see some rare Pokemon. Alas, all I saw was an old man, his wife and a couple of people with Pokemon. It was boring. The old man's speech was worse... however, for listening to it all, he gave me a Bike Voucher! Free bike that would usually cost $1 million? Fuck yes.

I decided to board the S.S. Anne. I was told that several people on board were restless and eager to battle. What I didn't expect was to walk into a sailor's room, and for him to exclaim "I like feisty kids like you!" Naturally, I got Derren to wipe his mind, and then quickly ran away from the pervert. I know you get lonely at sea, but DAMN SON. I went around, visiting all the passengers, including this one girl who was wondering why I wasn't at the party. Yeahhhhh, I'm in there. A few passengers were seasick, but I'm betting it's because of the chefs using berries found in the trash cans.

I headed up to see the captain. Of course, that arrogant fucker Gary Oak is blocking my way AGAIN. Jesus Christ, how many times do I have to slaughter him before he realises that he's worse than I am? Gary told me that the captain of the ship was seasick. Let me run that past you again. The Captain. Of a cruise liner. Seasick. Yeah, I've no idea how on earth he's still in his job. Still, I rubbed his back, pretending to give a shit and make him feel better just because I know he has HM01 Cut. He thanked me for helping, and gave me the HM. Fuck yeah. I headed off the ship to beat Surge... but as I got off, they sailed away! Ignorant bastards! I had a ticket for that cruise! I will be complaining to the authorities!

Anyway, I cut the tree leading to Surge, and entered his Gym. I beat the Gym trainers up with Mankey, and Chaz and Booker T pressed the switches at the same time in order to unlock the door to Surge. When in there, Derren blocked everyone out of the room - including me. He challenged Surge alone... but my god, he was impressive. The only Pokemon that did him harm was Surge's Raichu, who managed to paralyse Derren before landing a Shock Wave. It wasn't enough though, and Surge fell rather easily. I knew that Brock was going to be my hardest Gym, but come on! Give me a challenge!

With Surge defeated and with Cut in hand, I could now head west from Cerulean. However, I had a couple of places to visit before I went back there. My first stop was Diglett's Cave, where I managed to run into a Diglett. Imagine my surprise when that happened! Anyway, said Diglett was caught. I decided to name him DOUG, because it was a nice pun. I then tried to level up Rage a bit... big mistake. Magnitude 6, critical hit. 3 HP remaining. I am one lucky fuck today. I instantly switched Derren back to the lead spot, sprinted through Diglett's Cave, got Flash and sprinted back. I am so lucky I didn't run into a Dugtrio man.

I ended up fighting my way through Route 11, catching SLEEPY the Drowsee along the way. It was sent to the Shit Box, cos Kadabra is miles better. I fought countless (6) trainers in order to level up my Pokemon further. I finally reached the end of Route 11, step onto Route 12 and started heading to Fuschia City... well, I would have done if there wasn't a Snorlax blocking my path. Ugh. Looks like I will have to go the long way round after all. I ran back to Vermilion City, headed north to the underground passage, catching MONEYBAGS the Meowth along the way, and returned to Cerulean City.

Team thus far: Chaz (Lv. 24 Charmeleon), Buzz (Lv. 24 Beedrill), Booker T (Lv. 25 Pikachu), Rage (Lv. 23 Mankey), Derren (Lv. 25 Kadabra), Wonga (Lv. 12 Meowth).
Box: Freedom (Lv. 10 Butterfree), Doug (Lv. 16 Diglett)
Shit Box:TopPercent (Lv. 3 Rattata), Mickey (Lv. 5 Rattata), Mr Jingles (Lv. 10 Rattata), Batty (Lv. 8 Zubat), Moneybags (Lv. 12 Meowth), Sleepy (Lv. 12 Drowzee).

    Update 1 (Boulder Badge):

After being knocked out of my Nuzlocke for the second time, I made promise to myself: To Nuzlocke Fire Red without a single death. So far it's been OK. I've decided to pick Squirtle, which I named Spinnin' (once again) and evolved it before picking up the Parcel, kicking my rival's ass along the way. After that, I caught Mankey on Route 22 and called Harry, since it's the only person able to get as mad as Mankey because of Pokémon. Since Mankey was born with talent, it proceded to smash my rival right off the bat and his piss weak team like a boss. Since Spinnin' was overleveled as hell, I used the Viridian Forest to train it, so it could smash Brock by itself (even though I started with Squirtle). And guess what? It did. Three Karate Chops were enough to break Brock. After that, I taught it the Rock Tomb TM, so it can smash Flying-type Pokémon until I get Hitmonlee. Oh, I caught a Rattata on Route 2 as well, which I called Mickey for very obvious reasons, but I don't think it'll be helpful, so it's on the box. The Caterpie I found on Viridian Forest was victim of a Critical Hit.

    Update 2 (Cascade Badge):

Nothing special happened at all. On Mt. Moon I caught a Paras, which is called Caitlyn and on Route 3 I got a Modest Pidgey called Mariah, which was put on the box due to its lame nature. Paras almost died twice on Mt. Moon, against a Zubat and against a trainer's Weedle, but is pulling its weight now, raping both Misty and the Geodude along the way to Curulean. Without further ado:

    Update 6: MarshBadge

Now that Team Rocket was dealt with, it was time to catch me a new Snorlax. This one succumbed on the first Great Ball, and named Notpnerd, because the other one was cursed. Continuing on towards Fuchsia city i beat a number of trainers and found a wild Venonant (Beadyeye) which was boxed. PhatLip is beginning to pwn, learning Ice Beam. So another typical Bird Trainer comes along, sends out his Fearow. Cool, K9 is on low HP so i'll just switch to something that can bea...LOLNO PURSUIT. Ded doggy. Moving on, Snorlax and Lapras kept gaining levels, and then I got to Safari Zone. First Poke...Paras. Gay. Boxed. Got the teeth and Surf, taught Surf to Lapras and Snorlax '-'. Koga was easy as balls, ez mode. My team is borked.

Update 3: The luxurious ship and Lt. Surge

Go to the end for the tl;dr version

So after beating Misty and getting directions from her to the next Gym leader, I headed out towards the underground passage. Along the way I saw this Day Care with a bunch of pokemon, but decided to pass it up since I would never use it. After getting out of there, I immediately saw tall grass and immediately checked for a new Pokemon: said pokemon is now Meow the Meowth, since I didn't feel like being creative. I then went along and routed all of the trainers there fairly easily with Blitz and BROKENZARD Jr., although a certain parafusion Butterfree gave me plenty of trouble. After that I headed to the Pokemon Center and got the VS Seeker, since people don't take rematches if you simply go up and ask them. So rude these days.

Anyway, I immediately saw a cave and went in, anxious to see if a new pokemon would pop up and a man already inside told me it was Diglett's cave. Knowing the gym leader of this town was an electric type one I immediately went in there and within 2 minutes had Dat Nose the Diglett. who I'll be renaming later when it's evolved. After that, I went to the route to the right of the city and came across an Ekans that I immediately killed with Dat Nose; I have no use for a shed skin variant. Then I let Dat Nose go to town on the surrounding trainers, and after buying some provisions at the Mart decided to go on the SS Anne.

After flashing my ticket and coming on board, on instinct I randomly burst into someone's room; the person was furious and immediately tried to get his Growlithe to attack me, which Dat Nose quickly disposed of. The next room I went into had a nice lady who let my pokemon and me take a rest, which I used while ransacking every other room in the ship. I eventually was ready to go talk to the captain, but then Nick(rival) came down from the captain's cabin.

After seeing he evolved his team(and hacked a Raticate into it) I went up to the cabin and there the captain was, puking his guts out. I went to rub his back and then he gave me the HM01 which is cut; exactly what I needed to get to the Gym. So, the lady let me rest one more time and I went straight for the gym battle.

So after letting Dat Nose destroy the three trainers in there, I took about 15 minutes trying to find those damn switches. You would think Surge would make fighting himself a little easier. Anyway, Dat Nose made very short work of his Voltorb and Pikachu, but Pikachu's Static paralyzed him before Raichu was on the field. Because of this, I let Blitz take on its evolution instead. Apparently, his Raichu didn't learn Slam so I was able to Slam my way to victory and the Thunder Badge was mine!

After leaving I saw a weird looking building that stood out down the street; I went in and an old pokemaniac was rambling on about his Rapidash. I stayed to hear him out, and I got the Bike Voucher for it! Now I don't have to grind up to the million dollars which is impossible to have anyway. With Badge and Voucher in hand, along with directions from the girl who gave me the VS Seeker, I'm off to Rock Tunnel and Celadon City!

    [IMG][/HIDE]

So yeah, got through Vermillion completely this update, SS Anne and all. Mankey is getting boxed either now or after Rock Tunnel; of all things I had to get Modest as the nature. Duggy's probably staying for the long haul, as is Blitz(until Zapdos unless I get fucked with the nature) and BROKENZARD has a permanent spot as well; Blaze>Pressure, as is the ability to run EQ. So far the game's going as smoothly as I predicted, and I don't really see any likeliness of rough spots or deaths. Here's my team right now:

    Update 8: VolcanoBadge

So I surfed along the water routes to Seafoam Islands, EXP farming with Bruce along the way. (First mon I found was a lv. 5 Tentacool, great). Got to Seafoam, go inside, "so where is that Articuno. Oh right, I forgot Repels, hi Zubat". After that BS I flew to Pallet, and surfed south to Cinnabar. There I caught a Lv. 36 Raticate (CBBmad) from the mansion, and got my Omanyte (Notorious) from the Lab. Blaine's gym was easy as shit, PhatLip gg'd the entire thing. Team is still borked.

Update 2: Butterfree's time to shine

After Beating misty it was time to travel south to face LT surge, but as we all know, thats not possible as of yet so it is time to board the SS anne, Ivysaur and raticate destroyed the trainers aboard the ship white butterfree didn't battle much. At the end of the ship i was faced with rival faggot who didn't get much stronger since our last encounter so raticate bet him with ease. After rubbing the captains back and getting HM 01 CUT it was time to face LT surge, but first i needed a pokemon to teach cut to so i entered diglett's cave, and caught a diglett (Cutterbro). The hardest thing about the 3rd gym was finding what bins had the switches inside as Surge and his trainers all fell victim to dig raticate.

Once Surge was out of the way it was time to travel through rock tunnel, probably my least favourite part of the game, but first i needed a pokemon to teach flash to, lucky for me the first pokemon i found was a voltorb (Flashbro). After walking around in rock tunnel, almost running out of PP for butterfree i emerged out the other side. I didn't want to do ghost tower just yet so i headed to Celadon city to do the missions there. The first thing i did was acquire the eevee which i named Homo, a few minutes later i evolved this to a Vaporeon because my team needed an answer for rival faggots charizard. next on my hit list was Erika, after teaching my Butterfree psychic this gym was no trouble, in the progress of this butterfree grew to level 32, 8 levels higher than the rest of the pokemon i plan to use. Next time i'll be taking on the rocket game corner and the ghost tower.

    THE DREAM TEAM

    Ivysaur (RAWR) level 24
    Raticate (Buck) level 28
    Butterfree (Raid) level 32
    Vaporeon (Homo) level 26

Other team members i don't plan to train

    Voltorb (Flashbro) level 20
    Diglett (Cutterbro) level 20

    DEAD POKEMON ;_________:

    Mankey (Tuamanator) level 14

I dashed through Cerulean, and rather rapidly made my way through to Rock Tunnel, catching SERPENTINE the Ekans and POKE BALL the Voltorb along the way.

Rock Tunnel is a dick of a place, especially when you don't have a Water- or Grass-type. Luckily, Rage and Derren managed to get us through asap. We had a couple of close calls though - Buzz dropped down to 3 HP thanks to a Rock Slide crit, Booker T didn't KO with a Brick Break and barely survived a Magnitude and Rage itself almost fell to a critical hit from an Onix. I managed to catch a Geodude, which I named ROCKY. He was boxed though, as he is not likely to star in my team. I exited Rock Tunnel and departed for Route 8, and then for Route 7. I had a Growlithe and a Meowth evade capture, but it's not a big issue - I've got enough backup Pokemon as it is.

I reached Celadon City, and immediately set upon Celadon House. I retrieved a cup of tea, and then snuck around the back in order to steal an Eevee, which I gave a Water Stone. So the Vaporeon named GLUB quickly filled my final slot of my part, sending Wonga back into the box. I also purchased a Thunderstone for Booker T, who evolved into a Raichu. I then went to the Game Corner in order to try and get the Thunderbolt TM for later on, but I didn't have enough money. I did battle this Rocket Grunt who was "guarding this poster" though... makes me wonder...

I then decided to take a detour from my journey and give the Tea to the retarded guards who were keeping an eye on Saffron City. As such, they finally let me in. Idiots. I immediately headed for Mr. Psychic's house, and retrieved the Psychic TM. Then, it was time for some sparring... or at least it would have been, if I didn't have Derren. It turned up at the Fighting Dojo and gave the Dojo Master bad memories about his humiliating defeat at the hands of Sabrina. He ended up pissing his pants. It was disgusting, but glorious. As a reward for beating him, he allowed us to take a Pokemon - either a Hitmonlee or a Hitmonchan. Naturally, I went with BRUCE the Hitmonlee. I then took a further detour and returned to Rock Tunnel, and had the Move Tutor there teach Rock Slide to Hitmonlee.

Finally, I backtracked all the way to Celadon City. I had decided that it was time to face Erika and her Grass-types. I boxed all of my Pokemon bar Chaz - this was to be his fight. What a fight it was. He ripped through every single Pokemon in the Gym. Not a single flower was left unscorched. Even Erika's kimono was burned to a crisp - she was wearing blue underwear. She handed over the Rainbowbadge, and I walked out of the Gym with a massive grin on my face. The old man peering through the window had fallen asleep with one arm in his pants - I didn't want to think about it further.

I then returned to the Game Corner, and checked the poster. There was a switch behind it! Pressing it opened a flight of stairs - looks like it was time to take the fight to Team Rocket.

Team thus far: Chaz (Lv. 35 Charmeleon), Buzz (Lv. 30 Beedrill), Booker T (Lv. 30 Raichu), Bruce (Lv. 26 Hitmonlee), Derren (Lv. 31 Kadabra), Glub (Lv. 27 Vaporeon).
    Box: I give up counting.
