There's a bunch of new featues in the latest release, 0.9.50. Check out this screenshot of the battle window, with the new font. This also includes Pokemon cries, and battle music. You can change what music plays by selecting the "Battles" menu on the menu bar, then selecting "Change Music Folder". Another new feature that should be mentioned is that winning and losing messages have now been implemented. You can edit these from the team builder. Here is a screenshot of the Pokedex: The Pokedex is still incomplete, but will be completed shortly. There are some other features I'd like to mention in this topic, too: Team Builder can now be maximized to full screen. Team Builder can now be opened from the main menu in Linux. Ignore now ignores the selected people in the main chat. New in-game random number generator. Complete changelog for this version can be found in this topic: http://pokemon-online.eu/forums/showthread.php?2-Changelogs&p=632&viewfull=1#post632 Older versions do not work with the server anymore.
I downloaded it at an average speed of 19 kb/sec so it took quite a bit to download the 15.8 megs. I uploaded it to my own server if you guys want to use a mirror. You can grab it here. I test downloaded it and was averaging 38 kb/sec. I even uploaded it faster than I downloaded it from PO. >_> Edit: Someone on the server is having PMS over the cries not working.
For a lot of people the cries and music don't work. As for me the cries work, and the battle music works if I change it for my own, but the other songs don't work. I compiled from source though.
Did you download it from pokemon-online.eu at 600 kb/sec? I doubt it. :) But since you have a fast conn, can you do download tests from my mirror and the official source? You can cancel it after around 20 seconds, just measure what your average speed is during those 20. As for mine, I'm hoping to upgrade my DSL in the future but don't have the money for the higher monthly payments yet. No cable in this area. :\ Anyway, came here to say that registry should be sorted by server with highest users on top. It doesn't seem to be the case in this new version.
My internet > yours. 2.2 MBps from Zero's, 430 KBps from here. Anyway, everyone thought it would be better not to sort servers by most amount of users. This means that users won't be fighting to get to the top, like they did on netbattle.
That's right. I invaded the Pokedex. You all have to look at my sexy face whenever you open the Pokedex. Anyway... Some good stuff right here. I dunno at what speed I downloaded the most recent update, but it was nowhere near Steve's speeds.
Great update. Sadly i can't play because i'm from lan house, but i hope that this week i can buy a new internet for my home. Nice dex : )
Hey there. Firstly, you're posting in the wrong place. Secondly, you don't really need to use the forums. Pokemon Online can be downloaded from this page: http://pokemon-online.eu/downloads.php
