Okay, so before I left I was using a team centred around Jolteon being as annoying as humanly (pokemonly?) possible. I've come back, picked the team up again, and despite my probable rustiness, he's still the biggest prick on the block.

First of all, Jolt + Dug. Subbing on the turn Bliss switches in (not hard, Jolteon forces switches all the time) is almost a surefire way to eliminate that fat abomination of an egg that can be so troublesome at times. Unless she carries Counter (unlikely) or gets a CH on the second Ice Beam (providing she has IB, and also unlikely), she's done for. Proceed to rip through their team by hit-and-running with Jolteon and other special attackers/ status spreaders. Zapdos can do this too, admittledly.

Secondly, Jolt + Celebi. Leech Seed and Baton Pass Jolt into an unSTABed IB or something (example targets would be Zapdos or TTar). Sub away. They can't stop you. Its even better than Sceptile Sub-Seeding because you're faster and frailer (so you get more % HP gain), and its also a bit of a surprise. Once they switch, you have a free opportunity to Pass in something like Agiligross (or just hit whatever comes in hard). Zapdos cannot do this as well.

Jolteon + Water or Flying. Self explanatory, use something Weak to TB to put your opponent on edge- do they TB, or do something else? If you mispredict, it's not so bad, since Jolteon is quite capable of taking things like unSTABed IB. Zapdos can't do this either.

Jolt + Skarm/Gyara. Improved example of the above, Jolt can scout for EQs and pass to Skarm, whilst sucking up any rogue Thunderbolts. Even if something like Meteor Mash or Brick Break comes instead, theres no real need to worry.

Jolt + Sleep Talk Guts abuser.

What? Gengar/ Breloom is staying in?
    *evil grin*

These are just some of the simple combinations that can be achieved with Jolt. Sure, Zapdos is a better Agilipasser, can suck up blows better, hit harder, and is downright easier to play, but Jolteon is and underappreciated gem of a Pokemon. Its ability to troll is matched by only Dusclops, and if you build a team to capitalise on its merits (fast Subs and BPs, and forcing switches), you can create one heck of an annoying (and effective) team. With just a little bit of skill, Jolteon can easily form one of the best focal points to a team in the metagame.

I favour the standard Jolt set with Roar instead of HP to get the one up on CMers, but thats a personal preference-
    -TB
    -BP
    -Sub
    -Roar
    Max Speed/Sp.Atk, + Speed, - Atk

How well did the team do?
